  Hi, I can not connect my PC Ultimate Windows Vista for my Xbox 360 as an Extender. My configuration is:

  Xbox connected to the router, PC connected to the router

  I am pretty sure that the problem is with the Xbox or PC (and not on the network), since up to last month, I've had a laptop XP Media Center using the Xbox as an Extender very well, using settings and identical network hardware.   What anti-malware-virus\firewall\anit programs you have installed?  You can try adding it after a clean boot to try to exclude another program interfering.

  Task Scheduler (Local)-> library of Task Scheduler-> Microsoft-> Windows-> Media Center-> MediaCenterRecoveryTask

  If this does not work, try this:

  1. open regedit by clicking on the start menu and type "regedit" in the search box and clicking on the link of the regedit program that opens.

  2. go in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

  3. click on the file --> export and save a copy of this portion of the registry where you can find later if you need IT.

  4 Note the values in the column of data to "ProgramFilesDir" and "ProgramFilesDir (x 86(). (If you have only one of those that, don't worry. I think that only users of Windows 64-bit will have both, but I don't know.)

  5. If you have a standard installation of Windows, the right for "ProgramFilesDir" column should read "C:\Program Files" and the right column for "ProgramFilesDir (x 86) ' should read"C:\Program Files (x 86)"." Family Premium is not compatible with this program. So I have a few questions related to it. Is there a way to get around this, and if not, is there something I need to do or uninstall until I try to install this upgrade?   If the OS installed Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 1 upgrade disk > uninstall SP2 installed operating system > install the upgrade > reinstall SP2.

  And run the upgrade of a Vista operating system.

  If it is a retail upgrade license, it can be transferred to another machine.

• I am unable to have Firefox remember passwords. The 'KEY' icon which is supposed to be on the left side of the address bar is not there. Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, Firefox Version 9.0.1

  I need to have Firefox remember passwords. When I go to 'HELP' to get the instructions to do this, I am told to click on the 'KEY' icon on the left side of the address bar. But there is no icon.

  Make sure that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode.
