Windows Wireless Network must be started manually after you start the computer to the top.
Have been able to automatically connect to my home wireless network for 3 years.
All of a sudden the wireless connection fails to start. Right clicking and selecting 'Diagnose and fix' update option 'start Wireless Network '. By clicking on this solves the problem until the computer is restarted.
So, how can I make it permanent as it used to be? (Note: bluetooth and WiFi lights are light up front and aftering diagnosis)
Of course some service, etc. has changed, but I can't understand which should be set to 'automatic' or missing etc service/process.
Notes:
I put everything as advised by the site of Black Viper for Vista Ultimate SP1 standard (sevices.msc).
Startup is normal (msconfig)
Network and sharing Center is attributed to all (except password protected sharing)
System: Dell XPS M2010 (no hardware changes - all original)
OS: Vista Ultimate with XP1 update (not install them, re-installed original)
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi James
Tried SFC/scannow - no problem found.
I tried services.msc - noticed WLAN on manual, set to auto, rebooted, the problem seems to be solved.
The big question is how does 'manual' - no account required to this idea is the only way that it connects to the home network and Internet.
So just to let it auto update do its thing and reload the Windows updates that may have been cancelled.
Grateful for your assistance.

Windows Media Player 12 does not work after you choose the initial settings
Hello
I tried to use windows media player 12 on my computer laptop windows 7 and it won't work. It worked the first time and I chose my settings, but it would not open the player itself. I tried to do it on the guest account, but it's the same thing. Does anyone know how to fix this? -ChrisMy post was actually in response to JRTLOVER:
Why we cannot uninstall and reinstall from the CD just Media Player... or is there a way to fix this?
I have seen that it was already proposed earlier in this topic, my apologies.
Regarding your problem, have you tried to launch directly executable WMP? To do this, click Start, type wmplayer.exe in the search box and press ENTER.
You should also check if WMP is already running: start the task (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) Manager, look for one or more elements called wmplayer.exe on the process tab, select each item and then click end process , then try to start WMP again.

Photosmart HP 7520: All wireless network devices will lose connectivity after printing
Dear all, I have a problem with my HP Photosmart 7520 printer where all wireless network devices will lose connectivity after a printer has been sent to the printer. * Summary Wireless network unusable after sending one print to HP printer No device ( computers nor smartphones ) can use the Internet nor access internal networks ( 192.168.0/24) * Details Turn HP printer on. ( wireless direct is off - never turned on ) HP printer connects to working wireless network. Other devices ( phone/computers ) already connected and working. From any device, send a document to the printer. Printer prints document successfully. Immediately after printer has printed all devices cannot access internet IP range ( including HP printer ) nor Internet nor router ( 198.168.0.1 ). * Reproducibility Always * Work around Disconnect all devices from the network. Power off printer. Reboot Internet router. * Attempted solutions Removed wireless configuration. Factory reset. Added wireless configuration back. Powered on and off printer. * Printing tested with Tested with Macbook10.11/Windows 8/Ubuntu 12/Android 4.4.2 * Not tested Ethernet cable directly connected to router. * Internet Router Netgear CG 3700
Number of brand and model of the router?
These settings are to set up your printer wireless (or wired):
- Stay connected to your router
- Trouble printer status 'offline '.
- Wake mode 'sleep'
- All wireless devices stay better connected
While the DHCP is convenient, devices like printers (wired and wireless) should always be assigned a (fixed) IP address manually to avoid conflicts on your wireless network and must be outside the range of the router DHCP. After the adjustment of the static IP address the computer must be updated to show a Standard TCP/IP port with the IP address of printers under printer properties/Ports.
- Set a static in the printer IP address (click here) outside the range of the DHCP of the router (check your manual). It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this first if necessary. More Help Wireless Printing is here and here and still more here. Video here explains the problem and how to solve the problem. <-->--> So watch this!
- Or check in the printer "Auto Off/sleep/Energy Saving Mode" is disabled the System Mode Time Out is set to zero (0) Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by visiting the printer address IP address in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer, printer Home Page (EWS) Wizard. Also check your printer properties.
- If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
- Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a socket wall and not to a UPS, power strip or a lightning arrestor. This will cause the printer to drop offline connection and disconnection (checked yes!).
Additional measures to take if you continue to have the problem (if they are posted)...
