  My copy of windows media player 11 does not play video. When you try to play the video (usually an avi file) I get audio and visualization. I tried to uninstall and install new, but does not. I chose also to all types of files media player by default but video still does not play.

  An avi file is simply a container that may have different types of files in it for video and audio.

  You probably don't have the correct Codec to play the video.

  Either download a codec pack such as K-lite or download a little program called G-spot, open it and drag your avi file in the center of the small window of G-spot.

  It will then tell you what Codec uses the avi file. You can then Google that particulat Codec, download and install it.

  Dear readers,

  I am the owner of a toshiba l665D and there is a problem.

  I think that this is unrelated to its faulty card but due to the old driver TSRI (Intel Rapid Storage Technology).

  Update TSRI (Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver) to the version V10.1.0.1008 or later to resolve this issue.

  Windows Media Player 11 will not play DVD-video or video files from a SD card.  I tried several update codec options, but none were successful, including the option offered by Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx?displang=en).  Windows tells me that a more recent update has been installed and refuses to go forward.

  ·         What is the type of file you are trying to play?

  ·         The DVD I get recognized by the computer?

  ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  In the meantime, you can try to reduce hardware acceleration, and see if it resolves the problem. (Only if your video card supports hardware acceleration)

  a. open the screen resolution by clicking on the Start button, click Control Panel, and then under appearance and personalization, click adjust screen resolution.

  b. click on settings Advanced , the Troubleshooting tab and then click change settings.

  c. move the hardware acceleration slider toward none to reduce or turn off video hardware acceleration.

  d. click OKand then click restart now.

  There is a soundchannel 32 limit (which may exist at a given time) imposed by the flash player.  all two identical sounds may not play in a number of ms on the other.  There is no perceptible advantage and refusing the deductions that you may be able to play the sounds that are noticeable.

  I have iTunes on Windows 10.  iTunes does not recognize my internal speakers when other applications will recognize them.  I can use the helmet without a problem.  Why is this?

  If you go to iTunes/Edit/Preferences/reading and select 'Audio Direct' for 'use of Audio play '.  Then log off iTunes and back log and you should be able to hear through your headphones.  Good luck!

  Looks like another driver interferes with the driver of his system. Go to control panel | Device Manager; When the Device Manager opens go to the sound, video and game controllers and open that.

  Is there more than one list of audio driver? Is there present yellow triangles? First of all, the problem with the yellow triangles (right click, then left click on properties) and see what information is there. Resolve all that is the problem.

  If there is more than one sound driver, disable the second (third, fourth, no matter) driver sound. Note, turn it off, do not try to uninstall, it will only reinstall on your next startup.
