  I disassembled the machine as bare as possible test.

  I put in a request for support for VMWare and someone tries to help, but they did not understand anything or out again.

  I suspect that it is a bug in Workstation 9 about the SMEP on Ivy Bridge systems.  If so, it only affects the virtual machines by using the binary translation.  The bug should be fixed in version 9.0.1 workstation.  In the meantime, you should be able to work around the problem by asking specifically VT-x/EPT as the preferred mode - assuming that VT - x is enabled in the BIOS.

  Our company uses Raster images bmp for laser engravings on stone. Images are adjusted in photoshop and then fed to a proprietary program that erode and creates a p.c. bmp file that is used by the engraving machines. Usually before burning, I like another go this bmp and look for anomalies and things that have not been merged or perfectly beautifully created in photoshop. I love to watch these BMPS zoom 100%, 50% and 25% in order to examine the overall image tone. Recently my machine was not displaying these images properly to any parameter different zoom to 100% (actual size).

  We use about 3 computers for graphics work. Two of them are HP desktop core i5 Windows 10 machines running photoshop cs6. Mine is a tailor-made amd A6-3670 graphics running on an ASUS F1A75-M Pro, photoshop cc 2015 running card. Y at - it a setting I disabled in photoshop by chance?   I had this problem.

  While problem dialog box was displayed on the screen, I did a Ctrl-Alt-Del and brought up in the Task Manager.

  I went in the process, found tab the configuration process ASUS and my mouse right click.

  I chose "Open file location" and a display of the tree indicates that the associated file is at C:\Windows\Install.

  I opened Windows Explorer and went to C:\Windows\Install.

  I found 3 files at the root of this folder that began with asus/ASUS.

  I deleted the files of 3 three who started with asus/ASUS.

  I disconnected and when I came back to my office that the pop-up did not reappear.

  I stopped and restarted and the pop-up did not reappear.

  I just bought a DotPen and can't seem to make it work with Photoshop. I can choose the tools with the stylus, but I can't use it on the layers. It works well with the mouse, however. Cannot find any info on how to make this work. I miss some option?

  Yes, Pascal, it is not possible to draw with the stylus on Asus T300CHI, Surface Pro 3 is also a material tested and supported for Application Photoshop.

  Currently our House has 2 cameras, a Sony Cybershot DSC TX5 and a Nikon D90. Cybershot uses a Promaster SDHC 4 GB then the Nikon uses a Kingston 16 GB UltimateX 100 x SDHC.

  These cameras are used for still images and animated images, so I was wondering, did anyone know the differences between the above mentioned cards in all terms and the 16 GB SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC UHS - I memory card (other size, I mean).

  I don't know how critical these cameras are, but when you use cameras like the Canon XF-300 or XF-305, Sandisk is the preferred brand. Extreme against Extreme Pro gives you the same functionality, including sub - and appreciated, but the Pro version is almost double the price. The SD card on this device for custom image profiles and firmware updates that I use is the Sandisk 16 GB Extreme, not the Extreme Pro.

  Admitted, CF or SD is of course incomparable, but if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't go to Sandisk, Kingston, and according to the difference in price, I would probably stop the extreme version, do not spend the additional amount on the Extreme Pro.

  Why my L630 is not recognize my Sandisk MicroSDHC cards in the adapters provided in the bridge media slot. He considers SD cards rather than SDHC cards and they cannot be used.

  AFAIK the card reader in this series of mobile takes care of the multimedia suite:

  SD card, 8 MB - 2 GB
  Mini SD Card, 32 MB - 2 GB
  Micro SD memory card,
  SDHC 4 GB to 16 GB card
  MultiMediaCard,
  Card Memory Stick, 8 to 256 MB
  Memory Stick Pro, 256 MB to 2 GB card

  SDHC 32 GB are not supported.
  SDXC is not supported

  I have a 3rd gen core i7 with a card mother z77 (Asus P8Z77-V Pro) running Windows 8.

  I have 4 SSD RAID 0 would be in 2 groups and all 4 disks are plugged into the Intel SATA plugs.  I also have a 1 than to plugged catch NO Intel SATA HARD drive.

  A group is my boot (C) drive that is 2 x ADATA SX900 256 GB, and others, I have for storage (D) which is 2 x SanDisk Extreme 240 GB.

  I installed the latest Intel RST drivers.

  Under the Windows Defragmenter, my C drive is listed as SSD but my D drive is listed as a HARD drive.

  I want my D drive will be listed as SSD so that the FILLING can be passed to it.  My C drive when I click on optimize correctly trimmed output %, while the D drive outputs % consolidated.

  I have all 4 disks and two exactly the same RAID configurations in the BIOS and drivers of the RST with the exception of a difference.  Drive C is using 64 k band and D drive is using 128 KB Strip.  I can't imagine it is what makes Windows think that the D drive is a HARD drive because of the size of distribution?

  Is there something I can do in the registry to recognize my D as an SSD drive?

  I would rather not reformat my D drive to 64 KB stripe just to see if that solves it if there is something I can do with the registry, config, or otherwise in the software.

• Windows XP slipstream SATA drivers chipset Z68

  Hello.  I hope someone can help me with a driver issue I do not well understand and hesitate to pull the trigger on the practice.

  I was here with my limited knowledge regarding the installation of XP Pro on a new version of the computer using a motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro GEN/3.  I have a few specific questions which have hindered me.  Please if you can, understand that I'm not really up on top of all the terms tech and cause acronyms so don't assume I'm smart, I'm not.   Laughing out loud.

  I want to eventually install a second hard drive with Win 7 64 bit. so I can dual-boot. I wish that my BIOS value AHCI to enjoy its features.  I'm not going to use RAID, but I want my original install XP to recognize the SATA to AHCI MODE.  This motherboard is not a floppy controller, F6 is not an option.  Here are my questions.

  1. I know of NLite and install the drivers on the original "slipstreaming" SATA.  It of a great solution, seems simple enough, except that nobody has never specified WHAT are the names of the drivers?

  I went on the mfg site, downloaded the SATA driver. ZIP file.  It extracts to a folder on my other PC.  When I tried to use NLite and point in the driver file 32-bit, on a bunch of pilots became listed in the program NLite... it is then invited to exclude those that I didn't need.

  I have absolutely NO idea what SATA controller is on the chip Z68.  He said ICH 10 or 9 or another, this list about NLite had tons of pilots watch, none of them suggested the Z68 chipset.   Any Internet search I did came up with solutions before this new chipset Z68. I don't want to rush to the top of the XP installation with a ton of conflicting drivers.  So, first of all a question... What are the names of ACTUAL files should I include in the wake on NLite for the card mother Z68 having XP recognize my SATA HD in AHCI MODE?

  2. this idea will work.  I'm afraid the BSOD if I try without asking.  First set my BIOS in IDE mode, install XP, then install the drivers on the CD ASUS SATA, then shut down the PC, change the BIOS to AHCI mode and restart?    Sounds too easy, and if it worked I don't know that a ton of people would not be faced with this problem.

• Manager tasks shows only 4 graphics on the performance tab when it should display 8 for 3770 K & Win7 x 64

  When I open the performance tab of Task Manager I see that 4 graphs (showing the CPU core activity) instead of the 8 that I would see with a 4 core with hyper-threading processor. I have unplugged and plugged into the CPU 8 power connector pins several times and once I could see 8 graphics for about an hour until what he returned to only 4. Since then, I don't me 8 graphics no matter what I do. I replaced the MB, CPU, memory and power separately, but he never makes no difference.

  4 graphics that appear are for 2 cores with hyperthreading. I can tell because Aida64 says only 2 hearts are running. I also only 4 graphics with the ASUS AI Suite 2 program.

  Windows is set to mode performance and no power saving features are enabled in Windows or the UEFI.

  Can someone tell me what is happening? How can I get 8 graphics is displayed all the time?
