WININET.dll is missing.
So I've had this problem for a few months now and I can't run many programs, including the update of the window or whatever it is my original CD-ROM of windows without this error. I ran SFC without errors occurring. I don't seem to have a backup dll on my computer folder. And I ran the scanners for virus and Malware Scanner with no luck. It won't let me even reformat. My restore points all disappeared as well, so I can't go back. How can I solve this problem...
I have talked about that I got it in my post, but I couldn't access anything whatsoever thereon without getting the error. I tried different ways in recent months with no luck. If I'm still in the process of re - install, it seemed to work so far, although I'm not sure what happened to make it work. At this point, I'm just happy for that.

I have a HP Mini 1000 (flash drive, no hard drive). I rolled back the more early to get rid of the files is no longer needed on the computer. When I reboot, I get a message saying that wininet.dll was not found. I tried rebooting in safe mode and got the same message. When the screen appears, it is empty and useless. I have to open the Task Manager to close the session in order to restart. I tried to download a file WININET.dll from a site (I know, scary) to a flash drive. There is no way to open it on the machine damaged. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I guess the first thing will be to get an external entry system works, but I'm stuck.
Safe Mode boot and run sfc/scannow will not help you for two reasons:
sfc/scannow will not work in Mode without failure.
Running sfc/scannow will not replace the missing file even if it worked.
Of course you should be suspicious files that you download are unknowns, b sources
UT there are copies of the file wininet.dll on your system in other places.You can also use the Task Manager to copy from the flash drive on your hard disk if you want to, but I would keep the last option and get a copy of the file from a trusted source.
If the c:\windows\system32\wininet.dll file is missing, you will see a message like this:
Explorer.EXE - unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because WININET.dll not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.By clicking OK, you will then see a message like this:
dwwin.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because WININET. DLL.dll was not found.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.Depending on your configuration, you may see other messages complaining, so just keep clicking on the OK button as they come.
By clicking OK, you will eventually have to an empty office with just the presentation of wallpaper background.
Since the Explorer.exe does not start without the file, and so is not running, there will be no icons on the desktop or the taskbar, but you can always
navigate and do other things using the Task Manager.Depending on your configuration, other applications may complain in various ways, so just click on the button OK under each message arrives.
You may not be able to replace the missing file until all the pop-up error messages are recognized (work quickly).The screen background image. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to start the Task Manager and from there, you can replace the missing wininet.dll file
(you can replace any missing file from the Task Manager).We know that XP keeps copies of critical system files in the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
You must copy the backup copy of the file in the dllcache folder in the system32 folder where it belongs.
In Task Manager, click file, new task (run...), browse and navigate to the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
In the navigation window, do not forget the "files of type" drop-down is set to "All files" or you will not be able to 'see' the file you need when you browse folders.
Navigate to the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
If you don't see the file, do not forget the "Files of type" drop-down list is set to "All files" or you won't see all of the files.
If the file is also missing from the dllcahce folder, look for a copy in this folder:
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
Locate the file wininet.dll, right-click and choose copy (it copies the file to the Windows Clipboard).
Browsing from a level in the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32
Right-click on an empty area in the window of c:\windows\system32 and choose Paste to paste in the missing file where it belongs.
If no popup messages launched from other applications to complain about the missing file, just click OK so you can complete the
file copy process. If there is a message to complain about, you must click OK to get rid of the message to complete the file copy.After the file has been copied, the Task Manager, click on stop, "Restart" to reboot the system (always try to avoid using the power
button to restart the system).It is possible that the file is also missing in the dllcache folder, but it is in other places on your system.
If the c:\windows\system32\wininet.dll file is missing, you can also replace it with boot the system using the safe mode with command prompt
and copy the backup copy of the file.After the boot safe mode with command prompt in the command prompt window, replace the lack of files with the backup copy enter the following command (the command prompt window):
Copy c:\windows\system32\dllcache\wininet.dll c:\windows\system32
If the file is also missing from the dllcahce folder, look for a copy in this folder:
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file and then you should see a message that 1 file (s) has been copied.
Enter "exit" to close the command prompt window, and then press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to launch the Manager of tasks and Task Manager, turn off
menu choose "Restart" to reboot your system (always try to avoid using the power button to restart the system).If the file is also missing from the dllcahce folder, look for a copy in this folder:
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
Once your system is running, you can determine how it is broken in the first place and fix this problem.

I had problems with erratic scrolling. Grope in the Microsoft Help site led me to an instruction to use the System File Checker tool to see if the corresponding files were corrupted and get fixed them. That worked for all programs except:
WinInet.dll.MUI and tcpmon.ini, which seem to be missing on my system.
I don't know how to reinstall or where to find them. The info in the instructions does not seem to work to find or their installation.
And I always have problems with erratic scrolling.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Hi hikingscott,
I would hold off the coast on the reset Internet Explorer.
In your previous post you said wininet.dll.mui, and I saw messages that refer to which is a problem of Windows Search. If you have Vista SP1, then check out the following to reinstall:
http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=14850
And for the other tcpmon.ini, see SpiritX MS MVPof message in the thread that is similar to the following:
I hope this helps!

DLL is missing from your computer
Hello.
I have a project that has been generated from the shared library import wizard. The C++ project (that I wrote) has (OpenCV dll) dependencies. When I try to run any of the VI I get an error that says: "opencv_core245d.dll is missing on your computer. Try to reinstall... "
So, I have this DLL. Where do I put so that LabVIEW knows that there is? I tried Windows/System32, nothing helps.
What did you do to get the job of DLL? -If someone has a similar problem.
In addition, I can't test this right now because I'm on a Mac, but if I remember you must assign the DLL and function before call library function node will be passable. Then perhaps he chose the name of the first function (or the only?) the DLL in the node called by default after your entry function library, but required to validate a function before proceeding. Often, you need to change the parameters or return value of anyway, so maybe that also required (display of the tab and check the default empty are correct).
Is it a problem at all? Or were you just confused by how this happened?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EDIT:
As long as you can follow steps similar to the present guide below, you should be in business. As to why it was not executable until you have completed all these steps, I am unable to answer because I have only used a few times them:
agvisa32.dll is missing
When I try to load my main VI using AgM918x.dll I get the following error
"The program can't start because agvisa32.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I tried to reinstall the runtime, but that did not help.
I replaced an AgM918XAResources.dll in system32 by mistake by another of the test station and think that it may have caused the problem.
Any ideas how to get labVIEW to stop telling me he isn't?
This isn't an instrument of NOR, you probably need to reinstall his driver around where you guessed it.
You have a problem with one of the driver dll dependencies.
Original title: Reinstall Freecell.exe and CARDS.dll
I permanently deleted freecell.exe from my computer at home about 3 months ago since I played him too much. [It is not in the Recycle Bin, but permanently deleted.]
It may be slightly addictive, see.
Now I want that he return!
I copied freecell.exe of my employer's computer to my home computer, but whenever I click on the icon, I get the message error "CARDS.dll is missing from your computer."
I looked for where I could get this dll on the net file, for example, Microsoft, but only get directed to sites who want to scan my registry until they give me the download, and I'm just wary of them and their peers.
I guess my basic question is: how to find a good copy of the CARDS.dll file and put it in the right place on my home computer.
I have my original purchase recovery discs, but I hesitate to start with there rooting.
Thanks in advance.
Tom
Hi, Spin324,
What version of Windows are you using?
Are you sure that the file name is not dciman32.dll instead?
Dciman32.dll file is the dynamic library for display Control Interface (DCI) Manager. The Director of DCI is used to improve graphics performance when you use direct access to video memory. Applications that usually rely on the file dciman32.dll for performance include games, CAD drawing and graphic editing software applications.
How to fix the error message: xerces.dll is missing
You try to view a dvd, but when I go to play the dvd, I get an error message: xerces.dll is missing. How can I solve this problem?
Hello
1. what operating system do you use?
2 are there any changes or updates made on the computer?
3. are you able to read the DVD by cancelling the error message?
4 is the issue limited only when you try to play the DVD?Try to play the DVD on another computer and check.
Xerces.dll error message can be caused by corruption in the Windows System.
Check out the link to use the System File Checker (SFC) tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files in Windows 7.
SFC/scannow is a very useful command that you can use in any version of Windows. When the SFC (System File Checker) command is used with the/scannow switch, the tool analyzes all the important files of Windows on your computer and replace if necessary.
Missing and the corruption of the operating system (like many DLLs) files are probably the main cause of the major problems of Windows. In view of this, plus the fact that the SFC /scannnow is completely automatic and very easy to use, the tool should usually be your first troubleshooting step.
I'm trying to set up parental controls for my son. I get this error at all times and must go to the process in the Task Manager to get the message to stop appearing. I installed twice things of all Live essentials - all of them even if I don't want or need all - and still get this error message.
When I go to the website of parental controls and select WLFS in the box for additional controls and then click user account from my son a pop-up message appears and disappears so fast, that I do not see what is the error message.
How can I fix it?
Thank you
Original title: program cannot start because wlidcli.dll is missing. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
Hello
