• Restoring factory G50 - 80

  Hi all

  Hope someone can help... I'm trying to restore my G50-80 by default, because it does not - just a loop around the screen of Lenovo's Logo.

  The recovery button a key does not open the recovery options.

  I have managed to get to a command prompt by using a boot USB Win10 drive and have checked c:\windows. Other subdirectories, it has no current windows file.

  I also checked the recovery disc - all files seem to be present.

  How can I reset the settings default to the command prompt, or is anyway to create a DVD image using the .wim file in the okrbackup folder?

  No, the laptop would start not in the Novo button Menu. The link sends you also did not support the .wim images - but now, I did a factory reset complete thanks to a tool of WinPE imagex - Excellent and restored system in less than 30 minutes. • BSOD when customizing Image WinPE XP SP3 2.0 WAIK?

  I use the Kit Setup automated Windows (the original version of 13/02/2007) on a Windows XP SP3 machine to date, producing an image file WinPE 2.0 custom to boot from the CD-ROM.  If I make any changes to the winpe.wim origin, (for example, after http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd799303steps), I have no problem.

  After that imagex allows to mount the winpe.wim original, however, ANY reference to the \mount directory (with Windows Explorer, with the "dir" command in the command prompt Windows AIK, or with an another WAIK command such as ' peimg/list/image = c:\winpe\mount' from the steps more full to http://www.svrops.com/svrops/articles/winvistape2.htm) seems to result in the Blue Screen of Death.  (The BSOD said: "STOP 0 x 00000024..." and mentions ntfs.sys.)  And Yes, I turn off my anti-virus before you do all this.)  I get the same results with WAIK for Vista SP1 (version 04-09-2009), which is also supposed to work on XP, although none of the two versions mention explicitly the SP3.

  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

• Windows complete PC Restore on Vista Home Basic, how to create a system disk image

  In the menu system for Vista Home Basic Recovery Options, there is an option to make a "Windows complete PC Restore". The description of this option says "restore your entire server or personal computer from a backup image. Well, sounds wonderful. My problem is to find the software to create a backup image of my personal computer first. I tried to create an image of my system disk by looking at the "Backup and restore" software that comes with Vista Home Basic. I couldn't find something that was talking about creating an "image" of my system drive. Only the options to back up the disks. Microsoft use the terms 'backup' and 'image' fairly loosely or as interchangeable terms? Im a little confused. My ultimate goal is to create a disk image of my system can be restored very quickly in the menu options of Vista Home Basic System Recovery.   I recently got a new Signal of Hunter ceiling fan, which is one of the first active HomeKit fans. I went through the installer on my iPhone 7 more for the fan about 20 times. Each time, installation works and the fan is controllable for about 1-5 minutes each time. Then the two buttons for the fan and light are starting to appear 'No response' on them. By clicking on the buttons, surprise, has no effect on the fan or light.

  I have my Apple TV (4th generation) Setup as a hub. I also tried setting to the top of my iPad as a hub. Nor has helped get my fan work. However... today we were shopping, and I happened to pull up the control center. I noticed that Photonics and fan buttons is no longer says "No response" and typed a. After a few seconds, the fan button said it was now on. Then I tried the light. Same positive reaction. I played with them a few moments and everything seemed to work... except that I couldn't be sure, because, you know, I was not at home.

  So, when I got home, I tried again... back to 'No response' on the buttons. What the devil? So I then turned off the wifi on my phone and guess what? The "No Response" disappeared and the fan and light work.

  So there is something when my iphone is on my own wifi network, it cannot speak to the HomeKit accessories. That makes no sense at all. Why would it be? Is there something on my router I need to unlock it (even if I looked and did not find anything which is blocked).

  I contacted the support team for the fan again. But I'm starting to think it's something with the iPhone, not the fan. Oh, and HomeKit opening on the iPad does not work internally either.

  To review your post, you have configured your Signal Hunter ceiling fan in your HomeKit and use your AppleTV and iPad as hubs. Your iPhone 7 more on iOS 10.0.2 intermittently becomes a message 'no response' when you try to control your ceiling fan with it but it worked fine while you were away from home. It is apparently only at home and I'll be happy to help you to get this working properly.
