Wireless Desktop elite keyboard

I have the above listed keyboard, but do not have the software to install it.  Is there somewhere online that I can access it?

Try: http://driverscollection.com/?H=Wireless%20Desktop%20Elite%20Keyboard&By=Microsoft.  Make sure you get the correct version (32-bit vs 64-bit and Vista of course).  Make sure it is the correct keyboard - I just get what you gave me.

The following site http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=MK seems to have an updated version of the software - so I would use it instead.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

  • I would like to know if Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 also works with rechargeable batteries

    Hello

I just bought a Wireless Desktop 3000 (keyboard + mouse).

I would like to know if it also works with rechargeable batteries for normal alkaline batteries (batteries recommended) are 1.5 V batteries (NiMH) are only 1, 2V.  The keyboard uses 2 batteries and the batteries in the mouse 2 also.

    Thank you

    Lorant

Original title: Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000

    Hello Lorant,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft Community forum.

It is generally recommended to use the batteries that are similar to the integrated batteries. However, you can try to use rechargeable batteries, but make sure that the electrical parameters are not much different.

Warning : Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Use by replacing only with the right size and type of batteries (alkaline, carbon zinc, or zinc chloride).

For more information, you can consult the following product guide for Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000: product guide

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to post any of your Windows problems, we will be happy to help you.

  • HP Wireless Elite keyboard (2) communicate do not at all.

My keyboard elite wireless HP (mouse) has worked with my old laptop and another computer, plug and play, even if I don't install any software.   However, it does not connect with my new.    The laptop and another desktop computer on which he has worked have since crashed.  Today, I tried 2 HP Wireless Elite keyboard on a different laptop and 2 new desktop computers, without success.

Plug the USB hub, the computer says that it loads the driver fine, but not output from the keyboards at all. I tried:

    • Press and hold the connection button on the keyboard several times.
    • I loaded the software and the icon shows that the batteries are full.
    • I changed the batteries, in any case, nothing helps.
    • Checked the control panel. The keyboard is displayed in devices and printers, and the State shows that it works very well.
    • I tried to update the driver through properties of the device, but he said that the last one is already installed.
    • I went to the HP website and downloaded the new software, anyway, but not luck.

I tried the above on 3 different computers. Two have Windows 7 64-bit and Windows XP 64-bit.  Same results.  I have also another HP Wireless Elite keyboard bought a few years ago but never opened until today.   It's showing the same exact symptoms.

I noticed that the blue light on the USB hub is still only on a few seconds when it is plugged in (two of them). It lights when you press the button to connect, or when a key is pressed.    I thought that this light flashes all the time, or at least when I was typing, even though it was plugged into the back of the computer, so I may be wrong on exactly when it came.  I remember just that blinking, used to be distracting during the night.

I hate to have to buy new keyboards when I two of my favorites here. They are not cheap, either.

I was finally able to get the keyboard to work.  It turns out that it was the TYPE of battery used.  Duracell copper top, new brand Energizer Ultimate Lithium ($$) and industrial Energizer did NOT work.  I used the batteries provided with the new keyboard and it works.  They say just Energizer on them, no special effects or adjectives thereafter.

    It's incredibly picky.

Hi, as the title says: can I use the Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 keyboard and receiver with a Mobile 4000 mouse? I have the kit, but the mouse is to bulky for me and I would use a mouse Microsoft Mobile 4000 but with the same receiver as the keyboard of the kit, is it possible? Thank you

    Hello

looks at it's not going to work. Wireless products are programmed to be used with a specific key, so they won't work on another dongle.

  • Wireless desktop 3000. Mouse is often rough and keyboard not typing letters. Do not respond.

    Hello.

A few months ago, I bought a 3000 Microsoft wireless desktop computer. I finally opened it and started using it and am wireless. So far it was not pleasant to use.

If it worked all the time, it would be great. I installed the drivers from the dvd, and it sucks to use.

Are there tips to make the experience more pleasant and as precise as possible wireless? The batteries are new. I'm usin what came in the box.

If I have to keep going back and adding letters that do not appear: I won't go back to the wired. This message takes more than two times longer to type. I can't stand it.

So far, it is the only wireless I use. I have not installed the dvd software.

Can I install extra on more than one machine (my computer desktop and laptop) or an other patition on the same desktop?

    Thank you.

    Hello

I think that the antenna of keyboard is above the insert / home / page keys and probably to the front or the middle of the mouse.

If the table is made of a dense material, it can affect the signal.
To check if this is the case, try to put the mouse or the keyboard within line of sight of the dongle, or at least as close as possible and test whether or not it is more responsive.

Try to install the latest version of the driver and the IntelliPoint software from the download site: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx

Although they should be good and charged, try different / new batteries just to be safe.

In addition, you have other wireless devices?

  • What is the difference between the 2000AES of Microsoft, and most expensive, 2000 Microsoft Wireless Desktop keyboard and mouse?

What is the difference between the 2000AES of Microsoft, and most expensive, 2000 Microsoft Wireless Desktop keyboard and mouse?

Made me. Comparing the two references, it seems that they are both the same, except that one is titled 'for business' and the other is not. The cheapest is "for companies' then perhaps originally they were to be sold in lots of dealers XX amount. If you plan to do one, get the cheaper. like you, I see no difference:
