Wireless key Log-On where? !!

Hello

I have Satellite U200-196. It says on the page of the product that I should have Wireless Key Log-On feature, which means that I can log on windows with a phone mobile bluetooth. The problem is, I can't find the program anywhere. I can't download it from the page drivers and it is not on my CD drivers and tools. It is not publicly traded utility unter... I want to use this feature - but where is this program? Where can I get it?

Hello snipe

Maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I know a lot of other features are part of the program of Toshiba Easyguard. I found the Toshiba Easyguard page and it has listed all the units and the futures market, they should have.

If you have the time check HERE.

I guess that there is false information on the Toshiba Germany page. Perhaps is what someone did error between the Satellite U200 and Satellite Pro U200. :(

Whenever I am re-booting, I get this error window:

"Error - Service of Intel PROSet/Wireless event log stopped working andwas closed."

It started a month ago. I can't tell at all what I did--except that I installed a router Linksys Cisco Wireless (802.11 N), replacing an old Netgear device (802.11 G).  My wireless feature works well and I really do not notice the effects to receive this error message.  I don't remember having this error immediately after installation of Linksys.  I "think" some time elapsed before the error started - but I don't re-boot often, so it could be related.

  • E4200 access via a browser is low. Password and wireless keys must be the same.

I tried to change my admin password to something I just want to know. When I did, I was told that the key and wireless admin password must be the same. What madness is this? I have to give my children the key to enter the system there. I put parental controls for device there. Now all owe it do is google this router and read and then they can understand the key and the password are the same. Log in to the router and change parental controls.

I thought about a work around that. I would give them the key to access as a guest. It was great if they were going to use a browser to surf the Web. Guest access does not work for me on other devices such as iPods and iPads. In my tests on these types of devices applications cannot get on the Internet with guest access. That a browser can.

Thoughts from cisco? No help from cisco on this?

Do not use Cisco Connect and you'll be able to have the password admin and "wireless key" be different without problem.  I don't know why Cisco Connect is doing this, but if you go to http://192.168.1.1 with your web browser after using Cisco Connect and you connect to the web GUI admin here, you can manually set your admin password and the "wireless key" However desired.

    Hi lele17,

One blink indicates a failure of the CPU. You will need to have to replace to make it work again. Maintenance and Service Guide, I have provided in my last post will show you how to replace and give you compatible part numbers to replace. You can find this information on page 94.

  • How can I configure Windows 8 to remember my wireless keys?

How can I configure Windows 8 to remember my wireless keys?  I have 4 SSID in my house, and whenever I connect to either of these wireless networks I re - enter the wireless key, even if I have already connected to it several times before.  Windows 7 remembers them as do Apple products.  It's really annoying.  (Please do not recommend 3rd party stupid WiFi8 app - it is undesirable)

Yes, I meant Windows Defender, I apologize.

I solved my problem by taking the direction of the Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi connection utility WiFi card. I have the system configured to allow the Intel tools manage the WiFi, but Intel for some reason any would forget that he had the credentials. When I put management back to Windows 8, the problems disappeared.

There is a list of the supported PnP - ID in the registry under HKLM\Software\Toshiba\Wireless Hotkey.
Search for the PnP - ID of your wifi in the device manager card and crush one of those that you don't need in the registry.

  • Wireless radio failed. Where to get repair?

    All-in-one C309a, CC335A

Bought in November 2010, 1843 printed pages.

Wireless test report says "the wireless radio does not work.  Contact HP support. »

So where can I get this repaired and how much will it cost?  After two hours on the Web, I came on this vacuum.  HP Partner Locator on the Web shows no repair facilities within 3000 miles, even though I live in St. Louis.

HP has kindly offered to replace the printer for me, even if it's 4 months after the warranty period.  They offered me another model, but I chose one handed to nine, as the next model does not have the CD tray.  The framework is quite difficult to get.

Here is the procedure.  First report of test of the wireless network.  Also print a status report.  You will need later, and there are chances that you might run out of ink while you run a test of HP.

Pull the plug while the printer is on and plug end about 30-40 seconds.  This will reset the printer.  If this does not work, HP will you reset the printer setup and reset as a new printer.  You can't do it yourself, as it uses a lot of ink, and HP will probably ask you to do it again.  Be nice, but be prepared to spend hours on the phone with them.

The other choice is to get an adapter wireless ethernet, sometimes referred to as a wireless hub (or a wireless Repeater).  It is a wireless receiver with one or more ethernet out ports.  You're on your own, but it should work for about $25 - $ 60.  I found the part HP (#1150-7931) for $80, but I'm thinking that it might fail once again, while the wireless card can be replaced separately, and it would be usable for other equipment.
