With Player 4.0.1 get error 64 bit mode is not supported

Hi all, host the system is Win7 64 bit. I try to use a Windows 2008 64-bit VM. When you start the virtual machine, I get an error indicating that 64-bit is not taken in charge and asked me to continue without 64 bit support:

A few questions:

(1) I noticed the drive installed in the x 86 folder. If a 64-bit version was installed?  The description of the website says that the Setup file is for the two 32/64 bit. Do I need a 64 bit install to play a 64-bit VM?

(2) after that the 64-bit error appears and I still no 64-bit support the BIOS just loop and Windows never starts to load.  any suggestions on the issue?

This same VM load just fine on my VMWare Fusion.

Thank you

VMplayer is a hybrid - the GUI is encoded in 32 bits and pilots essential and executable that actually run the virtual machine use 64-bit.
That is why the installation path is ok.

But to run 64 computers bot virtual, you need a processor that supports the VT
If your processor supports check VT in the host BIOS if it is enabled.
If not Celsius - power off the machine - wait 30 seconds and turn on again.

If this still fails, try to start a virtual 64bot machine and fix the vmware.log created during this attempt
