With scrolling images in Windows

I built a folio for iPad and my manager asked that we prepare a version for your Windows Surface. In testing the functionality, I have a small frame of scrolling the user pulls down from the top of the page to display the navigation. This framework does not on the Surface. I tried to change the direction of pull on the side, but it still does not work. I have another frame floating on the same page, which is located in the middle of the page and works very well.

I also downloaded the tips DPS of the Windows App store app and the example of Bob worked very well (pull tabs on the side). Is there something different about the Surface that I'm missing?

Just to update everyone it is indeed a bug in the current version of the Windows Viewer. We have addressed it and the fix will be in our press release on Monday.

Thanks for the bug report!

I am currently using Windows XP sp3, and whenbever I'm trying to set my wallpaper with an image of Windows Live Photo Gallery, the image will be there for a few minutes then goes to blue screen. I can not change to any other image from those available or set it to any other image from the photo gallery.  I tried to do a system restore and my old picrure Office will be there, but whenever I try to change to another is the same thing. Is there anyone that cn offers a solution to this problem?

I had the same problem and just think about it. The image must be saved in the folder "my pictures." Right-click of your screen and go down to "Properties" there, press the 'Desktop' tab and click on the 'Browse' button and select your image in the menu. After you have finished click the 'Settings' tab and click on the "Advanced" button, which will bring up a new window, under the section "compatibility, select the"restart the computer before applying the new display settings' option. " Apply then hit and your image should appear as background.

  • No image with customized image of Windows 10 Acer Iconia W510

I'm trying machines Acer Iconia W510 image with an image of Windows 10 we did. We have already photographed a few tens of individuals. A dozen, however, refuse to take the picture. They are currently on Windows 8. The image on an external hard drive that plug us into the USB port.

The steps I take to the imaging process are as follows: "Change PC settings"->"update and recovery"-> "recovery"->"Advanced startup" and I click on the button 'Restart now', who sends me to a screen with three options, continue to windows 8.1, troubleshooting, and turn off your PC.

I select 'Troubleshoot '->' Advanced'-> "Image system recovery"

The Acer screen appears with "Preparation of the system image recovery" at the bottom. I sign in the administrator account when prompted to choose an account.

A window appears and scans for images. I selected the "Select a system image" option and then select the correct image of Windows 10.

Then, I select the only available option for "select the date and time of the system image to restore.

After that, there is a message that says "for the restoration of this computer, needs of Windows to format the drive that the Windows recovery environment is running on." To continue with the restore, shut down this computer and it boot from a Windows installation disc or a disc repair system, then try the restore again. "At this point, I have no way to continue.

Even if I plug the USB recovery drive we used, I get the same message. I don't know what the problem is or how to get past. Any help is appreciated!

  • Still problems with scrolling images...

I thought it was supposed to be fixed in the latest version, but it still seems to "activate" a scroll frame until it is floating. Does anyone else know this?

When do us release a new version that includes changes to the Viewer (which is, to be honest, each version) you must rebuild your application to get the new features/changes.

  • Boot camp Win 7 0 x 34 blue screen during windows startup after the restoration with the image of the system.

The hard drive on the Macbook pro was repartioned, all the boot camp and other drivers updated and Windows installed from the installation DVD. All the Windows updates available from 2012 (installation disc is 2012) until today have been installed and Boot camp 5.1 with all its drivers installed. Restoration was launched with an image of an external hard drive and a system repair disc system. Once Windows loads after the login screen, it crashes. A blue screen appears with the error code 0 x 00000034 and mention cache_manager... Windows restarts by itself and I can only use it in safe mode, which means that I can't download or install upgrades or programs.

Analyze the dmp file since the first crash with Windows debugging tool showed that the problem seems to lie with

    AppleHFS.sys and svchost.exe with Bug Check 34 {107, ffffffffc0000420, 0, 0}.

AppleHFS.sys/AppleMNT.sys are used to allow access to filesystems OSX JHFS +. Restoring Windows on Mac backups can be painful. If you have already fresh install of W7 on the internal drive, try the restore without installing any driver BC. Please be aware that such a restore is not aware of the partitions on your internal drive and can erase your internal drive.

Make a Windows 7 image and store it on a separate partition

    1. create a partition large enough to store an image of your Windows 7 installation
2 make a Windows 7 image and save the image on this partition
    3. with the program allowing you to make the image to burn it to a bootable recovery CD Imaging
    4. If you need to restore the image, insert the CD to boot and start the restore process.

    5. the next window is just a review, make sure everything is correct, and then click Start backup to start the process.  It may take 10 minutes or more, so patience is needed.
    6. once the backup is complete, you? He's prompted with the option to create a system repair disc.  It's a good idea, just in case your system has problems in the future.  Click Yes.
7 choose which disc recording drive you? He's use to burn the disc.  Insert a CD or a blank DVD for the physical disk, and then click on create disc.

You can go for the use of win8 / win7 / vista to match highlights you want - and download the win8 installation and run the installation with your key to download you need to install windows from that.  Will allow you to have an iso bootable.
