With the exception of the previous version is not warn incompatibilities

I just back-saved the code from LV2012 to LV2009. The code included some conditional indexation. I expected to be:

  • The code is converted into a functional equivalent LV2009 without conditional indexation
  • I would get a warning about incompatibility

I was disappointed to see that I am not...

I thought we got previously incompatibility warnings... Or is my brain superimposing some piles on my memories once again?

Hi Chris,

I think that this is a known problem, as described in article # 372644 here:

White paper: LabVIEW 2013 known issues

http://www.NI.com/white-paper/14490/en

There is also a mention of it here:

Discussion forum: conditionally indexed for Terminal loop

http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/conditionally-indexed-for-loop-Terminal/m-p/2577763

In both cases, it was noted that this issue has been resolved in the SP1 release 2012 - it's probably what you see.

Kind regards
