  If you want to stop your timer, use the stop() method:

  I am new to Action scripts (like only a few weeks here) and I am trying to create a button that switches a user from one scene to the other.  In doing the research, this is the script that I found which so far has given me the least errors:

  In AS3, you can't attach code to the buttons as you can do it in AS2.  All the AS3 code must be in the timeline panel.  All instances that have code assigned to them must have instance names assigned to them... instance names are assigned in the properties panel.  If you have more than one keyframe for these buttons, then each keyframe instance must be an instance name and the code assigned to it.

  The configuration report confirms that the printer has A4 size paper loaded in the trays of two tapes, with two different types configured in paper (COLOR and CLEAR in trays 2 and 3 respectively).

  Status bar 1 is configured with size LETTER type ORDINARY. I do not think that this (multi-purpose drop-down) bin automatically detects the size, so this must have been defined explicitly.

  The first thing to do is decide what size paper you want to print on:

  • Letter -size paper is used in America, but in very few other places.
  • The rest of the world standardized on A4 paper .

  If you want to change the configuration of the printer, use the menus of the façade, or (like your device is a network model), use the Embedded Web SServer: just point a browser to the IP address of the printer - you should get a web home page and you can then navigate to the appropriate paper handling page - it can be described in the User Guide of your printer manual.

  

  If you really want to use A4 size paper (as it appears to be loaded into your cassette trays), then you need to change your print jobs to select the paper size.

  It's design with the v25 Viewer: we have removed the mode button. That said, we have heard a TON of comments on this change and I believe that the button will return to v26.

  I guess you are talking about the Windows Mail program, and that you opened the message in its own window by double-clicking on it. If so, the only way to prevent the next message to open automatically when is to delete the current message to close the current message and then delete it from the message list pane.

  I wanted to create a simulation, I thought that it moves to the next slide automatically and only if I want to include a button or something that the user must click on then this action would really click to the next slide.

  One of the two typical interactive objects that Captivate is inserted into a training simulation: a text entry area. Simulation is waiting for the user to enter the correct text in the TEB and use Enter to confirm. What is the problem with that? The other typical object is a click box on a 'hotspot' which must be clicked by the user. These two objects will be paused until the user interaction was made the slide.

  I buy the audio book CD and then extract them to MP3 so I can listen to on the "rocket". I put all the MP3 of the book in a directory, use Mp3tag to put in place a track number, title, author, and such then I drag the folder to the folder "audiobook" on the "rocket".

  I start to play the first file, and most things work very well. The documents in the file and I cannot FF or REW in this file. When this file is complete, the "rocket" ahead to the next file of its own. Bookmarking works fine. When I try to use the 'next' button to move to the next file, however, nothing happens. If I try to use the 'back' button to go to the previous file, nothing happens. Very strange.

  The button works fine when I'm listening to MP3 music. I can jump forward or backward through the tracks normally. It is the same with podcasts.

  I don't normally jump before the audio book titles, but sometimes I'll do it if I lose interest in the book and hope to find something more interesting on a next track.

  Generic audio books works a little bit differently from the Audible.  New audio book functionality, allowing any type of playable, always has the option of cool chapter mode, but it functiond otherwise than by playing an Audible book.

  Sound files have chapter breaks that can be selected in the part of the main work.  "Regular" audio books have just chapter-titles.  Try to select the chapter mode; It affects to jump between tracks.

  I have a PDF file with many links between documents (links to pages viewed in another PDF format in the same folder). When users have these configured to open in the same window, the planned actions occur: the source document closes (or seems to close) and the destination document opens to display the selected page. However, once that we password protect PDF files, there is a strange behavior. When the back button is used to go back to the source document, it brings back the user appropriately; However, if the user has their pane bookmarks open in the source document, the security settings pane is opened instead when the back is used.
