Wizard problem with patch 7461070

Version 2.1.8. Tempting to step ' 9 - implement DBA CUP and associated patches (required) ' of the 'Upg to Rel 12.1.1"category and the step is not find patch 7461070 even if it has been staged in the folder EOF_HOME/patches. I am not able to download patches automatically from the server, have a thread separate on it, but given that this step will find not the patch even if manually downloaded and staged, he did finish without error. Is this a bug in the Maintenance Wizard? If so, is there a workaround? Thank you!
.
In the step log file (Note that it shows even the patch in the 'ls' command after he tries to download it).

Yes, it's a bug. I found the problem in the fichier./COMMON/patch_utilities.sh where when defining the variable platname the script if the return of a command executed remotely 'uname '. There was an enterprise value that checks for 64-bit, but it uses a local 'uname' run to determine if it is 64-bit Linux. Since it is a local run he picks up the 64 os on your server of MW. I tried to do 'automatically' and "install from a specific location" using the Windows disk, the MacBook Pro and the Mac OS X disk. I have problems with Windows7 Home Premium and WWII CFS joystick operation.  I get a message from gibberish, saying that the controller has been changed.  I tried to replace the file with a version of Windows XP .cfg and also tried to re-write the .cfg file.  Apparently, this version of Windows will not allow a file to be saved with an extension ".cfg", so it does not work either.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  • Problems with the update of IE8: "WindowsUpdate_0000000E" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

I had problems with Internet Explorer for a few months after an automatic update has been applied, and we lost power during the process.  I am now unable to use IE, just process dies immediately.  An update of the system is applied by the process of automatic update every time it tells me that it cannot update / day i.e., because a more recent version is already installed, as well as the error codes:

    "WindowsUpdate_0000000E" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

I was trying to roll back the PATCH or SP which was originally updated, but the Windows updates are not labeled as IE updates to Vista so have no idea which one it was (as I said it was a while ago).  I'm an avid user of FF but not having only not IE is annoying and constant updating errors are a pain.

  • problem with adding line in tabular form after that put 4.1.1 to level

We have recently installed the Update 4.1 .1. We now have a problem with some of our tabular forms created using the wizard. The delete and update feature works fine, but when trying to insert a new record, it will insert only the first record, but after that, it will no longer inserts. It acts as ApplyMRU (updated online Multi) is not at all shooting. No success or error message. I tried to create forms based on the rowid and also on the suites (with and without triggers), and they all behave the same way.

This happens both in IE and Mozilla. Tabular forms were working fine before the upgrade.

    Everyone knows this?

We just hit this issue and thanks to this thread and a light bulb above my head, resolved this question today. There is more to the story. Copy the necessary images in place works, but get the full version 4.1.1 images.

We were already on 4.1.0.00.32, so I applied only Patch 13331096 upgrade to 4.1.1.00.23. Patch 13331096, at least one that I downloaded a few weeks ago IS NOT ALL OF THE NECESSARY IMAGES.

Fortunately, I thought to download both. When I did a number of files in the directory images between the full version and the patch, the County came up short for the patch.

If you have this problem, get your hands on the full release 4.1.1.00.23, NOT Patch 13331096and copy these files to image in place. Who sets the we.

  • Problem with the upgrade to version 37.0.1 - update just "hangs".

I am currently in Firefox 36.0.4 on a Windows 7 Pro computer. I tried twice to move to Firefox 37.0.1 WITHOUT success. Once the software is downloaded and start the upgrade, the upgrade appears just "hang" - nothing happens after 15 minutes, which is much too long to do the upgrade previous updates of Firefox have NEVER took this long and I never had any problem with prerequisites updated to Firefox! My Windows 7 has the latest Microsoft patches. I don't know why this is happening. Any suggestions? For now I give up trying to pass to the 37.0.1 version.

He just go to www.getfirefox.com, download the new version and install it. All your data will be saved, but you will be running the most recent version.

  • Problem with iTunes on Windows 10 12.4.1-

Recently upgraded iTunes to version 12.4.1 and now my older iPod (a classic and a Nano) will not be synchronized.  New devices (iPhone, iPod Touch etc.) seem to be good, but older devices show as 'corrupt' attempts to restore the iPod do not seem to work, and now music has been deleted during the restore process, in my opinion, it is a problem with the new update running on Windows 10.  I installed iTunes 12.4.1 on a Win7 machine and two older iPods have been recognized and synchronized well - isn't the device - still on the machine Win10 it still shows up as damaged files no matter how many resets / reboots etc I do... someone else has this problem?  Yet all the patches?

Yes - same thing here. Windows 10 and my iPod Nano 4th generation syncs not - says it is corrupted. When I plugged on my Macbook, it was fine. Maybe we can install old version of iTunes?

  • Satellite Pro C850 - problems with WiFi after Windows update 8.1

    Hello

I was wondering if someone could give some advice on a problem I have.

Had an adjustable C850 Pro for a few months and worked well on Windows 8.
I myself am then harassed and intimidated by Microsoft Update in order to install Windows 8.1 and in a moment of weakness, I succumbed (got sick of the nagging).

Since that time, my wifi is very intermittent; either I'm on another computer write this and the laptop is essentially not connected to the internet.

For some reason any (although I didn't try it before), I can not connect via ethernet either, so I think it's probably the driver problems. (I also tried to connect the public wifi but fails).

I tried to install the driver WiFi Toshiba 8.1 but that has not solved the problem.
Then I noticed that I'm supposed to install a bunch of drivers in the order.

Maximum setting to do it, but the first package (associated with bluetooth) said I have to remove the current driver... I try by "turning off", then "Uninstall" but 8.1 seems to re - install automatically and I don't know how to disable this option (I can try to delete the driver file, I guess, but I'm sure 8.1 covered too and will probably launch a drone to try me out ", if I do). *

Any kind soul there suggestions on a way forward? Pls.

I see in the instructions of Toshiba Windows Update 8.1 should I have uninstalled the drivers before the update, but there is not much I can do about it now. :(

    Hello

    > I don't see in the instructions of Toshiba Windows Update 8.1 should I have uninstalled the drivers before the update, but there is not much I can do about it now
All your problems with the Windows 8.1 update related to the fact that you have not upgraded the Windows 8.1 system as recommended by Toshiba.

    Details:
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/generic/windows8_1-message/

    Solution?
Back to Windows 8 (reset the system back to factory settings)
Then, install all updates and patches for Windows 8 and follow along with the upgrade of system as described on the Toshiba Windows 8.1 upgrade page

On the page of the Toshiba UE driver, you will find all the instruments that must be installed in the correct order and Windows 8.1 driver!

  • H satellite L505-13 - problem with the resolution of games

Hello, I have a problem with the resolution of games, I just that:
    800 x 600 and 1024 x 768
Yet, I have the latest version of the ati driver and directx 11...

Windows Dectet my monitor properly (plug-and-play), and my screen resolution works well for: 1366 x 768 and 800 x 600.
on the other hand, when I start a game I have only the choice between these two resolution: 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768...

All the games don t fit the full screen and there is always a black area on the right and left.

Some games (crash)... and I thought it made a link with said that I have only 2 resolution.

    I have a toshiba L505 - h - 13 (PSLS9E)
my graphics card: ati mobility radeon hd 5145 graphics card
    OS: win 7 32 bit

I hope someone can help me find a solution
    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I put t know what games you want to play, but generally speaking, it of also depending on the game you can use screen resolutions. For example if your game supports only 2 screen resolutions, you can only use these resolutions.

So all you can do is update the driver DirectX and display. Then, look for an update (patch) for the game.

    Good luck! :)
