WMP12 deleting duplicates in playlists

I wanted to organize my music more thoroughly and decided to create a playlist for each mood music, when I noticed that it is indeed possible to add multiple copies of a track in a playlist. Obviously that makes this track in particular play more often than other securities, which is not desired, and since I use shuffle and I have a lot of music files, I will most certainly get duplicates (or even more) in my mood playlists. So the question is - is there an automated way to find duplicates and remove them in a special playlist?

As a solution, I looked at using the tag in the mood and then create an automatic selection for it - which would guarantee that I get all the tracks once; However, my music is in a variety of different audio formats, and some, such as OGG Vorbis, and MIDI, do not seem to support tags. If you have any other suggestions, it would be appreciated as well.

Hi GreatEmerald,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to automatically remove duplicate Windows media player files.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

    The new feature added to the playlists of songs are not added to my music is awesome. The only problem is that if you delete a song (or album that contains a song on a playlist), it is also deleted from the playlist.

    Everyone would like to have (at least the option) to keep the songs on a same so removed my music playlist?

    Sorry, you can not. Playlist is only a link to the current music file.

    If you pull the carpet (delete the file), the playlist will link dangling to nowhere.

    My experience is that you should not touch the style sheets that have been created by the system of FGL. Also, there is no need to copy and paste whenever it could disrupt the spoilsports. If you need to apply your own styles and then put them in a second stylesheet, that way if something goes wrong, you can always revert to the original.

  • Deleting duplicate line

    Hello

    I have a delicate situation.

    my query is like this:
    select count(*), source, ttype, tdate, qty, rate, cost, charge, impstatus, errorcode, proj_code, res_code, role_code, job_id, extl_id, taskid, rate_curr, cost_curr,ext_source_id, chg_code, inp_type
    from transimp
    where ttype = 'X'
    and res_code = 'NLAB'
    and tdate >= '01-MAR-2009'
    group by source, ttype, tdate, qty, rate, cost, charge, impstatus, errorcode, proj_code, res_code, role_code, job_id, extl_id, taskid, rate_curr, cost_curr,ext_source_id, chg_code, inp_type
    having count(*) > 1
    This query returns me 700 records with count (*) = 3
    which means that they are duplicates of records in the table (Please note we have a primary key, but these documents are double according to the needs of the company).

    I want to remove these duplicates, i.e. after the deletion if I run the same query again, count (*) must be 1.

    any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Caitanya!

    It is a DELETE statement that deletes duplicate rows:

    DELETE FROM our_table
    WHERE rowid not in
    (SELECT MIN(rowid)
    FROM our_table
    GROUP BY column1, column2, column3... ;

    Here Column1, Column2, Column3 is the key for each record.
    Be sure to replace our_table with the name of the table for which you want to remove duplicate rows. GROUP BY is used on the columns making up the primary key of the table. This script deletes every line in the group after the first row.

    I hope this could be of help to you!

    Yours sincerely

    Florian W.

  • How to duplicate a playlist in itunes 12.4?

    How can I duplicate an existing selection into a single folder so I can have the same playlist in another folder where it does not yet exist?  Example: I have a playlist called 'My favorites of Flamenco' in a folder called 'World Music '. I want a playlist second, identical in a folder called "Spanish music.

    How can I do without re - create a new playlist, song by song, in the second folder? This seems like an obvious thing, we want to know for iTunes, but research in the knowledge base of Apple and the community of El Capitan are not coming up with anything except how to remove the unwanted songs double and playlists, that is not my problem.  Thanks for any information out there!

    I don't think that there is some other way to make a new playlist where you want an addition to the content from one to the other.  If you want the new playlist are kept synchronized with each other, you can make a smart playlist containing the content of the first playlist.

  • Deleted Windows media playlists back

    I have a few Windows Media playlists I want in particular to remove it from my computer, so I just delete Windows Media Player.

    That's fine, except some time later Windows Media Player to find them again, so I have to get rid of them yet!
    I solved the problem (I hope!) by moving them to a "Dead_playlists" folder and changing the extension so that WMP can recognize is no longer with them.
    Is this a bug or just a 'feature' of the current WMP?

  • Deleting duplicate photos

    I have lots of pictures duplicate on my cell phone for more than once to download.  How can I find the duplicate on the computer files and delete them?

    Well, if you have downloaded them in the same place as the 1st photo, they'll have joined named image.jpg then photo (2) .jpg

    If you have downloaded the to a different place, you know the names of them because you have the original, so if you search for this name in the search bar of the start menu, you will see the original and the duplicate, and then you can simply remove the double.

    It is prudent to assume that the event id per person with the earlier timestamp id is the one who was in charge of 1st, as a result, we want to keep and the rest should be deleted.

    Hello

    ... We must maintain a row of data for each unique position_type_id. The query you provided with gratitude deletes lines keep them all not only one line for the id of the person 119129 regardless of which is the position_type_id.

    In fact, the statement that I posted earlier maintains a line for each separate person_id combnination and event_id; This is what means the analytical PARTITION BY clause. That made this assertion would be clearer if you had a different sample of the value. You posted a rather large set of samples, about 35 lines, but each row has the same person_id, and each row has the same event_id. In your real table, you probably have different values in these columns. If so, you should test with data that looks more like your real table, with different values in these columns.

    How can we change the query so that it holds the position_type_id County please before you delete the duplicate rows.

    You can include positiion_type in the analytical PARTITION BY clause. Maybe that's what you want:

    ...     ,     ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY  person_id
                                   ,                    event_id
                             ,             position_type     -- *****  NEW  *****
                             ORDER BY        tmstmp
                           )         AS r_num
    ...

    CREATE TABLE and staements of INSERTION for the sample data and desired outcomes from these data, I'm only guessing.

    Chris:

    In fact, it's a little meaner it seems at first glance, but it seems to work, at least on your sample data.

    The update, based on the before and after the sample data.

  • Delete duplicate of table records

    CREATE a GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE (MyTable1
    Name1 varchar2 (100)

    );

    insert into MyTable1 values ('11');
    insert into MyTable1 values ('11');
    insert into MyTable1 values ('11');
    insert into MyTable1 values ('11');
    insert into MyTable1 values ("12");
    insert into MyTable1 values ("12");

    Select * from MyTable1

    I want to remove duplicates from MyTable1 names... And after deletion, I should have 11 and 22 only.

    I can do this using query below, but it seems not to be effective. Is there another way to do this?

    delete from MyTable1
    where rowid not in
    (select max (rowid)
    from MyTable1
    Group name1
    )

  • delete duplicate pages

    I duplicate a page with inContext, but now I want to delete... is possible?

    Hello SallivanV2,

    Take a look at the following response of Cristinel about the deletion of the image. The same applies to deleting the file.

    http://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/Forum/MessageView.cfm?forumid=82&CATID=861&ThreadId = 1416905 & enterthread = y

    Currently, InContext Editing includes support for the deletion of the file. Images or files are not deleted when you remove an image or a link to a file of a page. In addition, InContext Editing File Manager doesn't have a file remove the feature.

    The main reason for this behavior is that we want to help users to preserve the integrity of design and page link. Allowing users to delete an image when the image is deleted the page also requires a link integrity checker (like Dreamweaver). These features are on our list, but we don't have a date when we will be able to incorporate them into the product.

    Best regards
    Corey
