How to duplicate a playlist in itunes 12.4?

How can I duplicate an existing selection into a single folder so I can have the same playlist in another folder where it does not yet exist?  Example: I have a playlist called 'My favorites of Flamenco' in a folder called 'World Music '. I want a playlist second, identical in a folder called "Spanish music.

How can I do without re - create a new playlist, song by song, in the second folder? This seems like an obvious thing, we want to know for iTunes, but research in the knowledge base of Apple and the community of El Capitan are not coming up with anything except how to remove the unwanted songs double and playlists, that is not my problem.  Thanks for any information out there!

I don't think that there is some other way to make a new playlist where you want an addition to the content from one to the other.  If you want the new playlist are kept synchronized with each other, you can make a smart playlist containing the content of the first playlist.

  • Does anyone know how to change the order of iTunes playlists in folders? I am on iTunes 12.3.2.35 thank you.

I can't figure out how to change the order of playlists within folders or find iTunes help topics that address this issue.  Please help, someone!  Thank you.

    Karin.

In a playlist folder iTunes sorts the smart playlists in alphabetical, followed by regular playlists in alpha order.  It does not provide a way to change this.

  • How can I sort a list of smart playlist in iTunes?

I have smart playlists in iTunes.   Some of them appear with the positions that I can click Sort by name or artist or what I posted.   But the other smart playlists do not have this topic and are sorted in some unknown way.   They often have a colored background.   I don't understand what is the difference between my old and these smart playlist.   But without the title, I can't sort and find the song I am looking for.

  • How to import audio MP3 downloaded iTunes 11.4 (18)?

I downloaded a number of MP3 audio files on the internet about my Macbo to play on the Macbook (OS 10.6.8) and my mini iPod.  However, I can't figure how to get them in my iTunes library.  I first tried selecting file/add to the library, open the file downloaded on my desktop and selecting each one individually, but when I looked into "Songs" in iTunes, they do not appear in my library.  Then I tried/library/import Playlist files and do the same thing, but they do not always appear.  Then I tried to move the desktop folder in music/Amazon MP3 (seemed logical, because they are MP3 files, but not Amazon), but it does not improve.

To make things even more confusing, when I chose to add to the library or selection of importation, rather than add the good songs in iTunes, it added duplicates of some totally independent songs that were already in the iTunes library (neither the song nor the titles of the album any resemblance between them).  Would be very grateful for any suggestions!

Create a blank playlist. Drag files to it. If your files have arrived without labels, it will be obvious.  Remember when he made this way iTunes makes a copy of the file in the folder of appropriate support.

Alternatively, you can place the files in the folder automatically add to iTunes. Rejects all the iTunes files will be put in a rejected folder. Others will be added, and should appear at the top of the list of added reading recently.

iTunes 9: understanding the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3832 - files placed in this folder are actually moved from this folder to the correct location in the iTunes Media folder.

  • transfer playlist from itunes 12.4.3.1 on iphone?

I recently updated from the old to the new itunes.  before, to transfer songs/playlist from itunes to my iphone, I would create a playlist in itunes with the songs I wanted on my iphone, and then drag and drop said playlist to the device/iphone section on the left side.  the peripheral section flashing once, and the playlist/songs have been transferred successfully.

I do something wrong, because when I do drag the selection to the peripheral area, it has a + sign and in my experience, this means a suitable place to fall while "Drag and Drop", but when I release, nothing happens.

It is also unlikely that it is the wrong way to do it, as it's too simple and logical that this is not an option to transfer a playlist.

    can anyone help?

    Hello chrismcclain077,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how it is important to be able to manage your music and I want to help you get your playlists sync as expected.

The way you described adding your playlists by drag-and - drop them uses a parameter called "manually manage music and videos". Because you have updated recently, this setting may have been reset to its default value.

When you connect your phone to the computer and open iTunes, click on your phone icon to display the summary page. To the bottom of the page (you may need to scroll down), there is a check box for this setting. Make sure the box is checked and try to re-sync. If it isn't already, try activating / deactivating it off and then turn it back on.

Move content from iTunes on your computer to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you continue to experience problems, please reach out once again, the entire community is here to help.
    -Best regards.

  • How to repeat a playlist on ipod v9.3.2

    Hello

I have an IPOD V9.3.2, in the music that I have several playlists that I use for sleep learning. I would like to know how to flag the playlist to loop. If I go to the playlist, O can see a list of the music in the list. on the left side, I see work shuffle on the right side, I see the pointers 'crossed', when I select the first track, I can see the volume bar shuffle shuttle and below that I see the pointers 'cross' and wha that seems pointers "repeat this song." It is also a symbol of the three lines that show the next songs. Looking at it, I see the first track followed by the rest of the pieces, then an entry indicating resume reading list, but the first track is missing from the following list.

What I want to achieve is to start the playlist and do loop until I have manually cancel.

    How can I achieve this?

    Thank you
