• The ADF workflow initializer is called before after the settings?

  My workflow has several parameters, some of which are optional.
  It is not clear in what order are called methods set for parameters, nor is it appears from the documentation that the initializer for a workflow is called before or after the set methods for parameters of the workflow are called.
  I want to call a method, once all parameters have been set. I can do this with the initializer?

  They must be defined at the same time that the initializer is called. Oracle guarantees not the order in which they are defined and customer should not count on that.   If your end goal is to call a method once the parameters are defined, simply include a call to the method as a default activity in your workflow. It is usually my preference when I don't want to make the programmer next abreast of all treatments applicable to the main object of the workflow. The previous link is the exception, as it was written for purposes of logging, and my preference is not to clutter the workflow with logging code.

  What is your type of PSTN trunk?  SIP, PRI, POTS?

  You always want to start with debugging on the Gulf war to see if the call made here, and if it fails, if all is good you can watch CUCM dialed number Analyzer to see if the routing configuration is OK, so which confirms all good then CM traces must be examined.

  I try to open the serach of notification of workflow service application form.
  To do this, I added below.
  Created 1) form attribute WF and attached to the message. The value of this attribute is
  CSXSRISV:REQUEST_ID = & REQUEST_ID.
  (2) so that the link apears in the notification but when I train session opens, she brings to the top of the selection screen of responsibility, if I select the Customer Support RESP and click OK, the service request get questioned correctly.
  
  
  So everything works fine, only problem is when oracle form opens it asks that the responsibility to select in the selection screen.
  How can I remove this form of selection of responsibility?
  I need any parameter or something like that?

  I'm having a problem trying to figure how to pass parameters between 2 completely bounded task different flows implemented with fragments that are found in the regions on the pages of the shell. Here is the configuration:

  What I have to work is I can put the value of the input on Shell2 variable of any where in the page Shell1.jspx or he is backing bean. The value appears correctly in fragment2, so there is no problems with reading the entry on the side fragmentFlow2.

• ADF: Can ignore us the default activity of the ADF train in the stubborn workflow. ?

  I am a newbie for ADF and JDev. Start learning about the documentation provided for the ADF, I try to create a stubborn workflow that has an element of train and every stop on the train should be activated/skippered by program. I am able to jump the train stops after reading the content provided at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/82-programmatically-navigate-trains-396873.pdf.
  But I'm not able to jump to the default train stop which is the first call of the activity in my case during initialization.
  Here are the steps I followed:
  1 creating a project of viewController and created a workflow in bounded with the component train activated.
  2. added 4 displays with train component marking the first view as default activity appeal.
  3. According to the document, which I mentioned above, I've added bean managed to ignore the train stop by program files.
  
  Now when I run the workflow, I'm able to jump the number of train stops 2/3/4, but I'm not able to jump stop number 1 (first stop which is the default activity) at initialization.
  According to documents from the ADF, for a stubborn workflow must be assigned default activity that is always called first when we enter the stubborn workflow. Which means, default activity will always be called initialization of said defined workflow and never to be ignored by the program. ? Alternatively, if there is a way to jump to the default activity, so please let me know the documentation/measures to do this.

  Thanks Timo. Your idea has solved my problem. :)

  I created a new page in my workflow narrow-minded that I realized as a default activity for the workflow bounded. Then I applied the navigation via router and under certain conditions, I am now able to switch my order to my desired train stop. By this design, I can make another customization on train button(Back/Next).

• Workflow does not inherit model of workflow activities

  We have a problem with the use of models of workflow by reference.

  Requirement: We would like to make a call to a method of custom module ADFbc calls as the first step of our BTF.  We would like that this is part of a workflow template so that it can be reused.  We always want the workflow reference model in case it changes in the future (reference instead of copy).

  Question: I create the model of workflow with a single call to the method of the AM.  I have create a new BTF based on this model with a view single activity.  When I run my BTF as a BTF view activity on a page region is called as the first activity.  The activity related to the AM method in the model of workflow never gets called.  If I uncheck the activity seen in the BTF as the default activity, activity at the AM method is called in the workflow model but the activity of the view in the Working Group is not called.

  I understand that when you use a workflow template reference work that you can not see the activities of model in many of BTF to 11g R1 but how do we use a model of workflow in collaboration with a working group to call all the activities in the model first before starting the activities in the Working Group?

  I am sure that it is user error, but have yet to find the cause.

  That's what we did for a similar requirement:

  1. create a copy of the workflow for order OEOH header

  2. create a custom procedure that checks your commits, add messages and returns either a pass or do not have the workflow

  3. create a workflow process that calls the new procedure

  4. place the new process after the eligible book.  The current passes should go to the book stage, the flow of failure should return to eligible book

  5. replace your workflow to header current order by your new custom in oe transaction type settings.

  I couldn't attach a code sample.

  We have a system including vCAC 6.0, an external vCO and a 5.5 endpoint for vCenter/vSphere cluster. We have created a few blue vCAC and vCO workflows. Our goal is by asking a vCAC plan to deploy a virtual computer and also invoke a vCO workflow at the same time. The problem is "successful in the deployment of a virtual machine, but having failed invoking the vCO workflow. The workflow of vCO is wired to the vCAC action plan using workflow "assign a workflow to change in a plan of action. My questions are: 1) is our goal attainable?   "Before you run the"assign a workflow to change in a plan of action"did you run the workflow" customization of the vCO Install '?  That's really all I had to do.  You have added also a right of orchestration endpoint?  There is a good video here vCAC-extensibility-package on how to use the extensibility.  He did for 5.2 but as far I can tell everything works the same with 6.0 and now part of the official plugin.

  Can someone tell me (or point me in the right direction) on what I have to do to complete the execution of a workflow from the workflow?

  I write large sections scripts in my workflow and I do all kinds of validations. I would like to be able to complete the workflow of the script section, without the need to set a flag and test for it at the end of the script task. So, I would need something like system.exit() of Java, but I can't seem to find anywhere in the API. I guess that an acceptable solution would be to raise an exception, but that seems messy.

  You want to cancel a different workflow from in your custom script or you are trying to cancel the same workflow?

  As general measure to cancel a workflow runtime, you must get an instance of the workflow runtime token for the worklfow, that has a defined as cancel() method. This method was to cancel the workflow including workflow token, you call the method. You can get the symbolic workflow to a workflow by taking the same as an input parameter, of type WorkflowToken, the selection of the desired running instance must be cancelled and then call the cancel method.

  You can also call the executeworkflow method to run a workflow in your script, which returns a token of workflow for this workflow, and then you can use the same to cancel the workflow. In the nutshell, you must get the workflow token and then use the cancel method.

  You can use a taskflow for success URL. After authentication, the control would be redirected to the page mentioned in the URL of the success.

  In the workflow, you can call a method call activity / use the router to access the desired view, based on the authenticated user.
