  As the error message states clearly that reinstalling the driver is required, please do the same. You can uninstall the driver that is currently installed from the Device Manager.
  To access Device Manager:
  1. go to start and type Device Manager.
  2. Select Device Manager in the control panel list.
  3. go to your device.
  4. to remove:
  Right-click on it and select Properties.
  5. Select the driver tab and click on uninstall to uninstall the existing driver.
  6. close Device Manager.

• VPN with static nat for a whole subnet

  For some reason, I can't do this on the router. Errrr...

  I'm trying to config a static nat (many to one), which will be in effect only when traffic needs to go on our vpn tunnel to the remote location.

  example:

  internal LAN 192.168.0.0

  remote network: 10.10.10.0 and 10.10.15.0

  When traffic passes over the tunnel vpn - at the remote site, I need to translate my internal network (192.168.0.0) to an ip address 172.16.32.65 static

  any ideas?

  also on my crypto map ACL, which must be specified for interesting traffic? my local network or static ip address search?

  NAT you describe is named PAT or overload, at least in terms of Ciscos...

  What you need:

  (1) a NAT - ACL when you describe your traffic which should be natted.

  (2) a nat pool with your 172.16.32.65 address

  (3) a statement-NAT for dynamic NAT inside based on the ACL for the pool

  Hey, putting in place the vpn ssl via the client Anyconnect on a new ASA 5510, ASA ASDM 6.4.5 8.4.2.

  I am able to 'connect' through the anyconnect client, & I am assigned an ip address from the pool of vpn that I created, but I can't ping or you connect to internal servers.

  I think that I have configured the split tunneling ok following the guide below, I can browse the web nice & quickly while connected to the vpn but just can't find anything whatsoever on the internal network.

  After have connected you to the ASA that clients receive an IP address, let's say 192.168.10.0/24 pool, the network behind the ASA is 192.168.20.0/24.

  On the SAA, you would need an NAT exemption for 192.168.20.0 to 192.168.10.0

  Create two groups of objects, for pool VPN and your itnernal LAN.

  object-group network object - 192.168.20.0

  object-network 192.168.20.0 255.255.255.0

  object-group network object - 192.168.10.0

  object-network 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0

  NAT (inside, outside) 1 source static object - 192.168.20.0 object - 192.168.20.0 destination static object - 192.168.10.0 object - 192.168.10.0 non-proxy-arp-search to itinerary

  At the inside = interface behind which is your LOCAL lan

  Outside = the interface on which the Clients connect.

  If you can't still access then you can take the shot on the inside interface,

  It will show if the packages are extinguished inside the interface and if we see that the answers or not. If we have all the answers, this means that there might be a routing on the internal LAN problem as devices know may not be not to carry the traffic of 192.168.10.0 return to the ASA inside the interface.

  Or maybe it's that there is a firewall drop packets on your internal LAN.

• Not truly Plug & Play with the generated for custom USB device .inf file

  We have developed an application that uses the library OR-VISA-in order to communicate with our USB device via RAW communication.

  This is why we created an *.inf file using the driver Wizard. Once we plug-in the device for the first time, windows enumerates the device successfully and the 'Found new hardware' pop-up - window.

  We chose the .inf file that is created, and the device is properly installed.

  Our problem occurs when we plug one another device of the same type but with a different Serial-ID (which means that same VID, PID, only the ID for the USB - stick is different).

  For all devices with a Serial-ID, which has not been connected to windows, and yet, the "found new hardware" - window opens again so that you HAVE to choose the installation procedure. Despite the fact that the driver for this type of device was already installed, windows does not affect our driver .inf file to the device.

  If we chose, then in the "Found new hardware" procedure - the "Automatic Setup" window - the device is installed and can be used successfully.

  Of course, windows recognizes the right driver but does not automatically assign it without pop-up windows. We want to avoid the pop-up reapeating for each device.

  I did some research on this subject, and now I guess the problem is that the generated .inf file has no signature.

  Does anyone have experiences on this subject? Am I wrong? Does anyone have or had the same problem?

  All solutions next assign the same ID series for all devices?

  Thanks a lot to post your question. I talked to our specialists in the United States on the signing of your created driver. You will find a brief description in the Readme of NI-VISA:

  "WHQL signature hardware USB.

  WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) sign your USB hardware using the driver NI-VISA for Windows XP / 2000, as part of this process it takes a PDB (program database) file to the underlying driver (NiViUsbK.sys).

  NiViUsbK.pdb is provided for this purpose. It is in \WinNT\NIvisa\USB. This is usually C:\VXIPNP\WinNT\NIvisa\USB. »

  To get it done, you must contact Microsoft. We are not allowed / able to sign your driver for you.

  After a bit of bumping into a wall your head wondering why there was no documentation for external access to Cisco Jabber for iPhone, I realized that Cisco Jabber IM for iPhone is an entirely different product and Jabber for iPhone seems to be the new name of Cisco Mobile customers. Yet, the only documentation I can find for the Jabber Instant Messaging is that I can "security by using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption" but no information on implimenting it with CUPS.

  On top of that, the Jabber IM for iPhone can not make calls but rather calls Cisco Mobile, which raises the question of providing external access to this too, and the only solution I've ever found is to use the AnyConnect VPN client on the device also. Suddenly, it seems to offer a solution of Cisco Unified Communications on an iPhone, I need three different and is applications is no longer quite as unified.

  Conclusions you drew on the product names are correct. They are transitioning to Jabber like a brand name, but it did not in the iOS VoIP client yet. The most recent Cisco Jabber for Android is the first to include Secure Connect (remote access protected or ensure access transparent, aka). The BU seems characteristic knocking out on a single platform and then replicating them on others before moving on to the next batch of features. I don't have a specific timetable to share but expect customers to iOS updated in the coming months with Secure Connect.

  With regard to the separate clients: I can see both sides of this room. The more I use them more, I agree with the decision to keep them separated and cross-launch when necessary. If you think it is consistent with the way the user interacts already with their phone: voice and texting are two separate applications. I suspect that the developers also get some benefits by keeping things more targeted (e.g. less than test whenever they change something). The only downside to this approach is that each app consumes its own tunnel AnyConnect on the SAA.

• PCoIP Thin Clients with view 4.6 external?

  I can't seem to find confirmation of this anywhere, but if upgrade us to 4.6 view and configure security for external access PCoIP server, can we send home with a Wyse P20 or Samsung NC240 users so it works now with PCoIP and without VPN?  It would be huge for us because we currently send a full PC with our teleworkers House and many prefer something simple.  Thank you!

  Yes as long as the security pcoip gateway is configured, the P20 and even the view for ipad will connect and has PCOIP feature enabled. It's as simple as that.

  In my test env, I have one instance of single node of R12 (12.0.6) running on RHEL 5.3. This instance environment is encapsulated in a VPN. I want to give access to the instance of R12 to some users for the test that are not the VPN (via the internet). I want to build a test environment to learn the DMZ. R12 is configured using a dummy test to the test instance domain by adding entries in the hosts file on the server but also in-house client-side. I have no balancing requirement at this point because it is only for the test.

• Why save for Web and devices is grayed out?

  I have Photoshop CS5 on Mac OS X Lion mountain. PS works fine, until today. On some images, I work with, file > save for Web and devices is grayed out. In addition, to save money, the options are extremely limited. It is obvious that I inadvertently clicked on something that caused this, but I just can't understand that.

• How to configure NAT for Hyper-V on laptop with wifi, wired and vpn connectivity

  Me, as I suspect a lot of people, I have a laptop with WiFi connection, cable connection and VPN connection (Cisco AnyConnect), which

  also uses a virtual adapter (activated when active). I searched for some time a way to be able to move to

  Hyper-V in VirtualBox. Blocker full for me is the need for a lot of my virtual machines to be able to connect to the

  Internet through 'the connection active' in the way that VirtualBox and VMWare Workstation/Player through their NAT feature.

  I'm not a networking wait, but after looking around, can't seem to find something that is simple enough for me to configure,

  with a minimum of resources, which allows me to connect a Hyper-V virtual network via a simple NAT device adapter

  all three potential network connections - most seem to not assume that one connection out of the machine, which of course does not

  me what I want.

  Three questions:

  1. is there a Windows application available that an adapter (like loopback) internal which acts as a real NAT device to one of the surfaces

  external access via the active network connections and through the Windows Firewall and any other antivirus, components etc. for

  the road to (i.e. behaves like a "normal app" inside Windows for internet access)? It would be the best option, because it would be

  "always there" when I run virtual machines

• I've just backed up with an external hard drive for the first time, but my profile with my folders for photos, documents, and movies are not there

  So, I finally got an external hard drive. I formatted for Mac (the device has been verified as being correct), and then he started to do a backup, which stated that a full backup would take 95GB. However, it only supported 19GB.  When I have my 'open' backup drive, I saw that only 'Macintosh HD' received support upward, not my user profile with all my folders containing documents, photos, movies, etc...

  I'm quite confused, because I thought that it would save.  I plan on Snow Leopard update to El Capitan, but if something is wrong or I don't like, I'm afraid that I won't be able to restore all my personal files - but only the applications that are on my Macintosh HD.

  You have not indicated how you have saved, if you've used Time Machine then you do things the hard way and you'll find very difficult TM. Please use the Time Machine interface to locate your saved data. You can benefit from the research on:

• Extend my extreme network with another extreme - waiting for internet access

  Hello - I have a new generation Airport Extreme (let's call it Extreme1) connected to a Comcast modem and it works very well. The extreme will be the router that the modem has no router function. I'm trying to expand my network to another room with another extreme (let's call it Extreme2). I have a connection cable between two rooms. Extreme1 has an ethernet cable from one of its LAN ports connected on port WAN Extreme2. When I try to create a new network with Extreme2 (in aid of the same name, passwords, etc.) it does not work. He was suspended at the end when he is looking for a connection ("Waiting for internet access")-I did the following things based on what I read here:

  1. Changed IPv6 link local parameters
  2. Tried the whole upward on my Macbook and tried on my iphone
  3. The Wan first and then tried to change the configuration after you done for Extreme2 by creating a network
  4. Tried to create a network with Extreme2 connected directly to the modem
  5. Extreme2 factory reset after every attepmt

  And nothing works. Kicker is, I also have a reasonably new airport express and the same thing happens to her as well.

  Do I need to adjust some parameters of network that I'm not aware of? Is it possible that my LAN ports are disabled on Extreme2? It is brand new.

  Have you used the Apple Setup Assistant?  If you did, it had notified you that the extreme second was being configured "add using Ethernet. The wizard will automatically configure the second airport with the appropriate settings for you.  All you have to do is enter a name of device for the second AirPort Extreme.

  Here I'm assuming that you reset the second extreme to parameters by default until you set it up again and that your second Extreme is the current version of the "tower" or that of previous versions "flat or square.

  The example below shows an AirPort Express as the device which is the extension of the network, but you will see the name of your network and AirPort Extreme on your configuration screen.

  Post back if you need some tips on using the "Wizard" for your configuration.

  

• I need VPN gateway to gateway with NAT for several subnets, RV082

  I have a pair of RV082 routers and I would like to configure a gateway to gateway VPN tunnel, as described in a book, "How to configure a VPN tunnel that routes all traffic to the remote gateway," (name of file Small_business_router_tunnel_Branch_to_Main.doc).  I followed this recipe book and found that my while the main office has internet connectivity, the branch subnet is not an internet connection.

  Routing behaves as advertised, where all traffic goes to the seat.  However, the 192.168.1.0 subnet in the branch receives no internet connectivity.  I read in other posts that the main router will provide only NAT for the local subnet, not the Management Office subnet.  Is it possible to configure the RV082 router to provide NAT for all subnets?

  If this is not the case, what product Cisco will provide connectivity VPN Tunnel as well as the NAT for all subnets?  The RV082 can be used as part of the final solution or are my RV082s a wasted expense?
