• Cannot change default program windows 7 64 bit

  I have a user who is running windows 7 64 bit which cannot change default programs. This only happens on the computer if it is connect. So I think it has something to do with his profile.  I noticed that when I go in the Panel and click default programs on associated with a file type I can choose the new program, but it will not save.

  We just migrated to a new domain and transferred all the user profiles with the Microsoft migration tool.

• Windows 7 64 bit host works very slowly after discontinuation of VMWare Workstation

  I am running 64 bit Windows 7 on a Dell laptop with an i7, 6 GB ram and VMWare Workstation 9 processor. Everything works well on the host and the VM, while the virtual machine is powered on but after the suspension of the virtual machine and station work out of the system host becomes very slow and applications become desensitized. This lasts for several minutes after the stoppage of work. In general, I have executed only a VM at a time, but even when I got a couple of them run both the host system and they are very sensitive. I started the task with great difficulty Manager when this occurs to see if I can see problems with the free time of processors and memory use, and everything seems fine.   This is because windows is the collection of memory the vmware used in the system and marking of these blocks of memory piece by piece as 'free '. If you shutted down of the virtual machine (not paused) then the memory can be returned to the system immediately.   Of course, you can use Firefox on the Qosmio G50. Why it shouldn't be possible? Firefox can be used on all computers.

  In my opinion, you should try put it back. Download the latest version and update. Maybe it works.

  Try to repair the Apple Software Update of the programs and features Control Panel, and then reinstall iTunes.

  7. Press to Select a user , and type the name that you use to connect to Windows 8 with in the Open box and then click on check names (name of your full user profile will come) and click OK
  8. When you do that, you can hit OK until you are off the menu of propriety .
  9. Run install, and I think you'll be all set, if this isn't an official technical support.

  While the 'Publisher virtual network' entry in the dialog box the VMnet0 is listed with a "Custom" Type and has the 'Host-only' selected option button.

  Unfortunately solutions in these discussions do not seem to work in my situation.

  By clicking the "Restore Default" button in the dialog box "Virtual Network Editor" recreates the VMWare network adapters but does not solve the issue of 'no host not bridged network adapters'.

  I can't change the "automatic settings" and turn off the "automatic gateways" because the button is disabled.

  What I would do then is to uninstall the vmnetbridge and reinstall it.

  To do this log as Administrator - open a cmd as administrator

  CD for the installation of workstation directory

  type

  vnetlib.exe -- uninstall bridge
  

  reset

  Log in as an administrator and change the cd in the Directory Setup again

  type

  vnetlib.exe -- install bridge
