WPDNSE Temp folder cannot be deleted

I connected my phone to my computer to load the Fotographes into a folder on the computer and deleted thereafter each of them on the mobile phone. Now, I can't delete the folder WPDNSE to the folder C:\Documents and administrator Settings\Temp. This is the folder within the WPDNSE that I can't remove, where WPDNSE; This folder has zero byte when I click on 'delete' message on this subject: "cannot delete the (name of the folder): cannot find the specified folder. I searched the folder in the computer, it does not exist anywhere. I would appreciate some help to solve this problem.

Hello

The file is created by Windows Media Player 11 and must remain alone. Note that it
is created in a temporary area WMP going.

I hope this helps.

Hi all

I managed to solve the problem.

It was so simple:

Newspapers, I noticed that: when you try to join the host to vCenter, he was questioned on the vpxResultFilter.xml file and could not find it. (the file was somehow been renamed. #vpxResultFilter.xml)

I copied. #vpxResultFilter.xml to vpxResultFilter.xml as below and voila, it worked.

Hello

Like what tetraethyle3 said on November 1, 2013, the best way to remove the contents of the temp folder is to do a Disk Cleanup. You can follow the steps on the link below in performing a Disk Cleanup on your computer.

• What happens if I delete the files in the Temp folder in Windows 7?

What is happening in the windows--> Temp folder in windows 7, and if I delete the files there, that will be a problem? I want to free up the disk space of 1.8 G, but can't find any info anywhere of the consequences of deleting these files, what they are for, or how they got there. Thank you!

In general, it is safe to delete anything in the Temp folder. Sometimes, you can get a "Cannot be deleted because the file is in use" message, but you can just ignore these files.

For safety, do your Temp directory deletion right after you restart the computer. Sometimes a program installer will put something in the Temp directory it needs to complete the installation after a reboot. If you restart and wait a bit so that they were, whatever left in the Temp folder should be OK to delete it.

If you want to be conservative, use the built-in Disk Cleanup tool (type of cleaning disc in the search box). If you select "Temporary files" as one of the elements to clean (deleted), by default, that Disk Cleanup removes only the files that have not changed in 7 days.

• Deleting the file in the Temp folder

I have a file in my TEMP folder called BCGECE. TEMP

He said: I can not remove it because it is used by another person or program and to close all applications and try again. I have notheing ope, but still can not remove it?

Suspect A malware.

What anti-virus application is installed? What's his current subscription? He has never been allowed to expire?
What other antimalware applications are in use?

Download, install, update and run full scans with each of the following free tools. Do not run the scans at the same time. Each analysis will take a long time, so start an and then go for a non computer chore. Leave the delete/quarantine everything it finds. Once completed, you can uninstall these applications.
MalwareBytes AntiMalware
SUPERAntiSpyware

Do a scan with the free eSet online scanner virus

B. delete the file

Assuming that the file is not removed by one of the above tools, the following steps work almost always:

• Close all running applications.
• Open Task Manager (press CTRL + ALT + DELETE)
• Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
• Type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each line
CD folder
dir b * (this step is only to list all the files to confirm that you have changed the appropriate directory, make sure that BCGECE.) TEMP is in the list)
• In Task Manager, find explorer.exe in the processes list, select it, then click on "end process." Your desktop will become empty except for open windows from the command prompt and the Task Manager
• Return to the command prompt window and type the following line and press enter
del BCGECE. TEMP
• In the Task Manager, click file > new task (run...) and type explorer.exe in the area. Click OK. Your desktop should reappear
• Close the Task Manager windows command prompt

If for any reason the foregoing does not, from the start in a "clean boot" configuration XP and delete the file in the usual way. Use "Method 2" (manual method) to the linked article.

• Trying to remove the folders from Windows one system empty, but in error "is a Windows system folder and is required for Windows work.» It cannot be deleted. »

My parents bought a laptop from a friend, and recently my father ran an antivirus program that came with multiple files in a folder that has been created by this friend. When you try to delete the folder a box appears that says "it is a Windows system folder and is required for Windows work.» It cannot be deleted. "But all the folders inside are empty and of no use to us. Help?

The standard answer to questions that begin with «I bought a used computer...» "is you can do a clean install of Windows, because you know not what could be hiding somewhere in the computer. In this case, it seems as if he is infected with something.

Legally, the seller was required to give you a way to do this reinstall, but in the vast majority of the private sales of used computers, this requirement is simply ignored.

If it's a laptop to 'mark' (e.g., Dell, HP, IBM/Lenovo) there may be a hidden partition on the hard drive that can be used to restore the computer to its "fresh from the factory" State. Of course, this will remove all applications that the previous owner had installed after he or she has bought new, but you should still seriously to consider making such a restore, if the mechanism is available.

What is the name and the version of the antivirus application that has detected the wrong files?
What are the names of the files?
What is the name of the folder that cannot be deleted?
Are you logged on as a user with the rights "computer administrator" when you try to delete it?

Assuming that you can not or will not do a clean install of Windows, I suggest the following (do not run scans at the same time, each analysis may take some time, depending on the number of files on the computer):

Connect as a user with the privileges "computer administrator" and do a full scan with each of the following:

http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx (requires download)
http://www.PCtipp.ch/downloads/Sicherheit/35905/multi_av_scanning_tool.html (page is in German, but the downloaded scanner is in English)

Also download, install, update and run a scan complete with each of the following:

MalwareBytes AntiMalware
SUPERAntiSpyware

• Is it safe to delete the files from the System 32 > DriverStore > Temp folder?

I was do a cleaning on my system and find files and temporary folders in all directions. I was wondering if it is safe to delete the files from the System 32 > DriverStore > Temp folder.

Thank you

DC

Nothing in the Windows or Program Files and files their subfolders should be left alone. You won't earn a significant amount of disk space, and you may cause to yourself untold trouble sleeping herein. Use instead the provided Windows Disk Cleanup. You can get to it by clicking on start-> computer, then click on the C: drive and click Properties. On the general tab, you will see disk cleanup. Use it and you will be safe (and not sorry). Everything you personally placed on the computer can always be removed of course as long as you do not try to remove installed manually the software (use the programs and features in the control panel for this).

I hope this helps. Good luck.

• Deleting a Temp folder

I am trying to remove the Windows Vista temp folder. When I followed the path to do so. He reads that it is impossible because the file is already open somewhere else. I don't know where else, the file could be open to. Can you please help me.

The easiest way to remove the contents of the temp folder is to use Disk Cleanup: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76073-disk-cleanup.html... When you come to the box options, just deselect everything except temporary folders and run the program (or you can do a better cleaning if you want and have the time).

If this does not work, try Unlocker to: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml , who sometimes works when Vista remove program is not.

The file could be opened for a number of reasons - running programs actively or in the background or something that does not close properly. Try to reboot and see if you can remove it before open all programs other than those in the start menu.

If this does not work, try to start in SafeMode (repeatedly press F8 when starting) and try to delete the folder temp there.

If this does not work, do a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/929135?p=1 and see if you can remove the folder now. However, do not forget to reboot the system in normal operation, when finished (it is included in the above procedures).

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

• My Temp folder contains documents, I can't open, delete, or identify

Community:

I met two (for me) the strange documents in my Temp folder this afternoon. They are without the usual kind of extension (for example, .txt) and are labeled in the alphanumeric coding. I scanned documents with MSE, and they passed as safe. The first document is: etilqs_RdJ2CFX0VOuVC4e, Type: folder. Updated: 23/09/2013-16:05. Size: 28.0 KB. The other is marked in the same way: etilqs_c2CK9E5YLfaUzWe, Type: folder. Updated: 23/09/2013-16:05. Dimensions: 4.00 KB. Document attributes are identified as: HATI. These items are good, do you think? I'm not sure MSE assessment, given something might have interfered with his analysis. I do not know. When I tried to delete these unknown documents, I was informed that the revocation was impossible because, "the file is open in Google Chrome," my browser. I noticed this message "Sorry, the file is opened" before, but I've not yet met without extension, in alphanumeric order labeled items, such as documents that I've referenced here. In any case, I don't delete them if they are correct and necessary, but I wanted to ask the community - just in case.

Thanks for any help possible.
Sincerely,
Janet

• Cannot find Adobe_Lightroom_x64.msi after cleaning on Windows Temp folder - impossible to update CC-apps

Hello

The C-drive on my PC was exhausted, and I needed to clean the workspace.

I cleaned all temporary folders and moved some of the data files, and finally the computer works.

I try now to Lightroom update Creative Cloud - app fails with the message that it can not uninstall the old version, and if I try to uninstall in Control Panel, I get a message asking me to locate the Setup file.

My eybrows up when I realized the uninstall files are supposed to be in the temp folder (which, by definition, should be allowed to clean).

How can I recover it? I have an old 4.4 - version of LR installed, which was not a problem and a version 5.3 which needed to be updated to a 5, version 7 now.

I found some references to a CC-cleaner tool, but it does not list Lightroom and don't clean up Lightroom.

Well, you answer my own son here.

I got it working, using this very messy solution (don't do this if you do not understand the consequences)

Open the registry editor and deleted these keys (for LR 5.3 and LR 4.4): (searched the registry for occurrences of 'Lightroom' - but stopped after these results)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Features\BCA17DD2D255C20459929760CA9BC503

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Features\DC559A118934A50488D64E463C16F8FB

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\BCA17DD2D255C20459929760CA9BC503

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\DC559A118934A50488D64E463C16F8FB

Also deleted all the Lighroom-courses in values under this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders

The creative cloud is now installing, and it seems to work.

This solution is messy because it leaves plenty of LR4 and LR 5.3 references in the AMD register on the computer, it leaves all files for older versions.

To fix this, I also deleted the Program Files folders - so most of the files has been removed.

The good part of the story is that parameters 5.3 carried over, and I am able to continue my work.
