WPS54GU2 Printserver and Windows 7 64 bit

Hi everyone, this is the first time that I posted here.

I read all the posts about defining the TCP/IP and LPR settings WPS54GU2 printserver and have no problem getting the printserver to connect to my printer HP Deskjet 990cxi printer via the USB port of the printserver. I can print a test page and also print from programs.

My problem is that when I stop my Windows 7 64 bit PC and boot to the top again once the status of the printer appears offline and I can't connect to it. The only way to connect to it is to reinstall again.

This problem does not seem to have been covered anywhere else, so you guys can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply dibbler. I solved the problem. My Windows 7 64 bit version is not "use printer online", but there is no "use printer offline". When I found that the "use printer offline" has been checked. I unchecked it, restarted and hey presto my printer was also prepared. Problem solved!

Two ways are participatory computers in a windows environment, a working group and a _.   You can fill in the blank?

Virtual private networks have little to do with the domains or working groups.

I don't think that WIndows 98 can join to a domain.  All versions of WIndows, you mention should be able to participate in a working group, however.

In my opinion, the best way to share a printer is to use a printer connected to the network

  • Tecra M10 and Windows 7 64 - bit - fingerprint reader driver

    Hi all

    I just bought a M10 - 17 H and was updated for Windows 7 64-bit system.
I used the drivers [posted by Toshiba | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/supportMyProduct.do?].

Everything was therefore acknowledged properly share the fingerprint reader and a controller PCI of communication Simple.

I tried the driver provided in the link above (also the uninstall after the driver installation program) useless.
When windows 7 has been installed (new installation) the drive has not been recognized either.

I also installed the [driver beta Authentec 64bits | http://www.authentec.com/win7beta64.cfm] yet once anything is.

Does anyone know about the availability of driver?

    Thank you

    Hello

Have you tried to use the Vista driver?
Check it out and try it!

Most Vista drivers work well with Win 7.

  • Package of added value and Windows Vista 64-bit on Satellite P200

Hello, recently I changed Windows version of 32-bit to 64-bit. Everything works perfectly except PPV.

When I try to install it, it produces an error message that says:

    ID_ERR_NOTINSTALLTVALZ_MESSAGE

I found in some old discussions that I should update my bios, so I downloaded most recent bios, and when I tried to update, the pop-up message that I already have this version.

    I did some research and I found some drivers for the 64-bit version - [link to driver | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 152 & selProduct = 746 & selSho rtMod = null & language = 13 & selOS = 27 & selType = all & yearup load = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = al lMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = all & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = all & page = 1 & ID = 61866 & DISO = 27 & driverLanguage = 13]
and in the statement, he said that I should
"It's only the driver of value added package for 64-bit computers. Installation instructions: 1. unzip the zip-> 2. Right-click on the "TVALZ_O.INI" file-> 3. After a right-click on the file, choose "Install" from the context menu. »
But when I do that there is an error message that says that this INF file selected does not support this method of installation.
I tried to install it in safe mode, but the error is the same.

Maybe I should put these drivers in a specific location? If Yes, where?
Who can I install everything first? VAP installation for 32 bit, then driver for 64-bit? Or maybe the other way around?

If someone could write me a clear instruction how step by step, I would be really grateful.

My system: Windows Vista 64-bit Ultimate with SP1
    My Notebook: P200 series

Best regards, Paul of the Poland.

Hmm, I wonder about this sentence
    > I've done some research and I found some drivers for the 64 bit version

What is your laptop model number? Have you chosen the right Toshiba VAP for the right notebook series?

If you have chosen the correct drivers (for the right notebook series) then try to copy the extracted files in the folder of Toshiba Value Package added to programs-> Toshiba-> Toshiba Value added Package.

Then try to run the ini file as described on the page of the European driver Toshiba.

I have a Laserjet 5 M Postscript with a duplex printing unit in my home network.

Windows 7 64-bit, the duplex printing option is not displayed.

    1. I reinstalled the driver - cool from MS
    2. I manually changed the ' properties/device settings' to indicate the duplex unit is "installed".   I have administrator privileges.
    3. I rebooted the machine.

However, under preferences - or for actual printing, under available - possibility of double-sided printing is not displayed.

    Any help will be appreciated.
