  I found a few quirks in LabVIEW 2011 I don't understand. In the vi attached, I provide a one-dimensional spreadsheet string separated by spaces. I use the string of worksheet to the array function to convert this spreadsheet string into an array of strings.

  I came across problems when I wanted to specify a space as the delimiter character.

  The conversion works as expected, if I do not specify a delimiter (i.e., the default tab delimiter is used). But if I specify the delimiter, only the first element of the string of spreadsheet is converted. I don't understand this behavior.

• The long text of the chain and cod file size

  In my application, I have a few static string constants that are very long. Channels will be displayed on the screen when it is administered buttons are clicked. I find that once I added these chains, cod file size has increased by 30%, which is not desirable. I expect buttons will rarely be clicked but I must have these text for display.

  Is there a better way to manage these channels so that they do not swell the cod file, for example, compress them.

  If you put the strings in a separate resource file as BBDeveloper suggests, you can also run them with maximum compression gzip before you add them to the project. Then after opening the file (with getResourceAsStream), wrap the input in a GZIPInputStream stream before reading.

• Cannot write the new document preset file.

  I had problems with the installation of the update. I thought that all my apps are up to date, but then I tried to update to After Effects, which may or may not have been installed on this machine (normally I use it on my old machine, but I had to try new features)

  So now I get the error update U44M1l210 - don't know I have this correct because I can't tell what the character in the Center is (between the U44M1 and 210)

  I tried delete file as recommended in other threads thing, but it seems that all of us who have been in the past months, and I've seen the suggestion on the opening of the Terminal--but I'm not familiar with the Terminal...  Tried installing many times, rebooted several times, closed creative cloud repeatedly (is my frustration showing?)

  You can call this function without wiring to a path of the input file.  If this is the case, the function prompts the user for input file using a pop up dialog box.  If a file is selected and you press OK, it is the path of the file that is out of the function as the new path of the file.  If you press the button cancel instead of OK, the "not a path" constant is the new output file pathname.  If the function is called with a wired file path entry dialog box appears, the same path of file entry becomes the new output file path.

  Before making your Save As in Excel, change the cell formatting of number. This should avoid the scientific notation conversion before you re-register.

  Or just use Notepad to display the file instead of Excel.

  I created a program that measure current over time.  It works well, but when I write to the spreadsheet, there are additional lines between the row of data.

  I've created a header file, which is passed into the while loop where the data entered in a table and then entered in the worksheet.  If I simply display the table, there is no additional lines, but when I open the file csv in excel, there are more lines.  I'm pretty new to labview, but everything works the way I want to (it's a simple program) apart from that.

  There is a trolley or jump back in your chain of row data.  You can get rid of that by adding a "trim whitespace" function between the function of "visa read" and "replace the subset of the table.

  The tabs are from the table to the string of worksheet function.  You build a chain of worksheet, complete with tabs and CR.  Just drag a concatenate the strings in his place and it will work.

  I would bag all constants of the tab and the CR.  Build an array of 2D with just the values strings (without tab, no CRs), happening in the array to function SS.

The result is the correct number of bytes. But, if I flattened the cluster for string and get this length, it is largest of 48 bytes and corresponds to the size of the file. Am I correct assuming that LabVIEW is the addition of the additional metadata for unflattening the binary file on a cluster and is it possible to get LabVIEW to not do that?

  Really, I would rather not have to write all the elements of the cluster of 30 individually. Another application is reading this and he expects the data without any extra bytes.

  You need to do a little basic troubleshooting. Make a right-click on the son goes into the loop, and selection "probe". After you run the VI, the content of the probe and see if there is no data there. I had to put a delay in the loop of the acquisition or specify a number of samples to get the data in a consistent manner.

  My second problem is rounded off on the numbers. Even if I wrote "%.6f" in the part of the format, it gives me a single decimal value.

  I never said anything about writing about a spreadsheet file with an output port.

  See the attached VI for changes.  It's only the new data of this iteration of the loop that will write it on the spreadsheet file VI, not made all of the table from all iterations.  There is an entry of table 1 d to the spreadsheet file.
