Problems with character and paragraph styles!

I have a problem to inDesign that I don't normally.
(I work on a macbook pro)
I'm adding a text in a template document. I have two character styles and the paragraphstyles.
This is how I work:
I place my text I have the text box. (placing a word document) First I get all of the italicized words in the text placed and they give a character style: italic. Then, I want to give a definition to the whole text. It is a 'regular' from the same font of type version. When I do that, all of the text get this pink-ish marking meens that the text has not been completely changed the style AND a little plus (+) next to the paragraph style accurs. Normally I just press alternative (alt) as I click the paragraph style and thus cancels the problem. BUT when I do that now all the text becomes italic - witch is not in the selected paragraph style. Why?
I'm really lost how can I solve this problem - I don't want to create a new document because it is a model that I use each month for a magazine and normally it works.
Would be - this code in the word document? Or what?

Select all of your text - and click the clear button the replacements at the bottom of the paragraph Style Panel.

I'm new with scripts for Framemaker. I want to export FM docs to RTF, so I can import into InDesign. For placed images I want to insert a line of text that shows the link to the image (reference). In addition, I want to show the Index markers at the insertion location of brand with a different character Style. Can someone help me with this?

A note on your method to retrieve all related graphics: this will also deal with graphics that could be linked in master pages and reference. Just to be safe against unwanted side effects, you should limit your list of charts to those in the main flow of your document.
On the tLoc: looking for really the cornerstone of the anchored frame that contains the chart. It's a little confusing that FM called the anchored frame and any graph of the same name. Even if you add a framework anchored in the text to an equation or a text box in your document, the anchored frame will appear in the list of the chart in the document. If you have a framework anchored containing an imported graphic file, you have a list of graphic objects inside the anchored frame, who himself appears in the list of graphical objects in the document.
This function should do what you want to do:

I suppose you also want to remove the anchored frames (imported image files) the text. This can be done in the same routine, but you first have to catch the next element in the linked list graphics in the doc before deleting the current. If you do not delete the first and end up with an object not valid. The method simpler and more secure to do is to create an array of items to delete. After the while loop, you delete these objects. Get the complete code looks like this:

A paragraph style can be applied to paragraphs replacing?
 
			 
Is it possible to apply a paragraph style to all paragraphs in a text block?  I tried to do over the years, but have not thought about it.  I try to check the appearance of the tractor paper green-Bar - memory that seems like decades ago.
My current project is a directory of the long staff which contains several pieces of data in lines (each line is a paragraph).  I know how to apply a paragraph style that applies at a glance 'green bar' to a paragraph.  My goal now is to understand how to apply it to other paragraphs or lines in my document.
			 
I ended up apply styles manually in a sort of mind-numbing trance of repeated key strokes.  Certainly not the right answer, but the work is done and my boss is happy.
I really like to be in this state of trance. Sick, I know. Unfortunately, I discovered that I could select a bunch of text with the text tool, and then right-click on a style and choose "Apply Style, then next Style." There are several styles of numbered paragraphs, but this conversion is needed in a single style; and select the entire document will change other styles that should keep the auto-numbering.

There is setup with the microsoft account.  Then created another account to microsoft and I don't need another, but both are run separately on my laptop.  And data, skydrive, e-mail are separated by Microsoft account.  Don't need thre original Microsoft account by I want all data under this one and access the skydrive created in one.

I have a laptop medion dead that took Vista. How can I access the data and transfer it on an Asus running windows 7 64 bit
			 
If the Medion no will power, you can test the drive with the disk manufacturer utility.
If the Medion does not supply power to the top, the only way is to remove the disc, put it in an envelope and see if it works.

I've just updated to Vista and my Zire 31 don't HotSync with Palm Desktop.  How do I get my contacts and memos on my new computer?  There must be some files that I can copy disk and paste in the new software, right?
			 
Hello and thank you for using the Palm Help Forums!
Unfortunately Vista software that Palm provides (Palm Desktop version 6.2) saves files differently from previous versions. Copy of files and pasting will not help. However, there is another thing you can do.
You can do what is called and export / import your data. To do this in Palm Desktop, highlight all records of contacts and then click on "file" and then "export". I recommend placing this file somewhere you won't forget (i.e. desktop computer). Do the same for the calendar, and other PIM data. You can then take these exported files and put them on a disk or portable drive (USB key, Flash DRIVE, etc.).
Once you have the disc (or other) inserted into your new PC. Move the files to your desktop or somewhere where you'll remember them. Open Palm Desktop software, click on 'File' then click 'import '. Locate the files that you exported and double click it. This should restore your data to your new PC.

I made my request according to the example (http://corlan.org/2009/06/12/working-in-flash-builder-4-with-flex-and-php/). Everything works fine. I changed a single function to query the database - add two parameters and get the value from the table to a string format. A test operation shows that everything is ok. If I want to display this value in the text box, I just do drag and drop off service to this element in Design view

I couldn't find examples. Send data to a field text or DataGrid - much, but no variable.
the use of assistants? not sure... it is generally a bad idea to rely on them, because they will never fully what you want anyway. I would recommend learning abit of PHP and manage by yourself, because it allows you to manage everything exactly as you wish.
small example of communicating with a database using PHP + FB4:
mount a database

write you a small script that will access your database, get a value, for example:
