WRT 1200Ac - resetenv

Hello

"I have lunch by the command 'setenv' error in submarine, and since I have this error on startup: ' # error: 'altnandboot' is not defined"

How it is possible to restore the right vars?

Thank you

Adrien

  • WRT 1200AC speed Test does not

Test of speed inside the router no longer works.   Slow to respond and speeds from offshore.  I was wondering?

My version of flash player is 19.0.0.245.  My router's firmware version is 1.0.4.167471.   V.2.2.0 speed in the router test.   Speed test by Ookla server based in Los Angles, CA.  Only runs IPv4.   All details provided in the inside of the router.

    Outdoor speed tests work.

    Someone else, a problem?

Speed test works now.  Test speed to normal limits.  Any change to the router.  No change to anything.   I think it's an ISP issue now.   Highway 11/17 but disappeared from today when I checked last.

    But if you must know...

ISP is TimeWarner cable.    Cable modem services.

    50Mbps down.   5 Mbps upward.
Motorola / Arris SURFboard cable modem 600 series model SB6183
Cat 6 Ethernet cable.   Excellent condition.   Not swapped, not necessary in this case.
Never a problem of Internet connection, verified websites to normal speeds. I.e. www.speedtest.net & www.dslreports.com

ISP MTU = 1500.   Standard with ISP.

Your attention to detail is noted and understandable.    Thank you!   I really like my router but I like it with more features of the firmware update.

  • On linksys WRT - 1900AC V2 Time machine

SE your know that Linksys WRT-1900ac can use the time machine function? another post said that can not use time machine to back up! Is it really?

    Thank you!

Yes, really. the linksys is a wifi router only, and has no hard disk attached. I guess that you can attach a hard drive somewhere (if possible) and put on with the Time machine backup, but this is neither here nor there.  For me, I bought a time capsule airport - very reliable and very easy to install and to use, does the job quietly and well. He also recommended to have a backup of some sort finally... just for security reasons

  • What is the best firmware R7000 that support dd - wrt?

so I bought this router and have heard it supports the likes of dd - wrt, what is the best firmware for this router and how do I install it?

According to NETGEAR is concerned, we do not recommend the use of 3rd party firmware as it will void its warranty.

We always recommend that you update to the latest version of the firmware.

  • Deletion of dd - wrt firmware and restore to factory State

Hi, I have a Nighthawk R8000 I bought with DD - Wrt firmware. I would like to remove this firmware and restore a factory setting. I could have messed up things. I chose the option to restore to the factory, he downloaded some firmware and restarted. Now, I can not access the router at all. It is attached to a Cable Modem provided by my ISP and I found it with an IP address, but when I try to access it without success.

    Any suggestions?

Thank you my friend, that has worked.

  • DD - Wrt Firmware when you set up a ReadyNAS

Hi, I just got a loan 214 SIN that I will receive in the coming days. My question is will having dad-wrt firmware on my Nighthawk R8000 interfere with the implementation of my ReadyNAS as shown in the Quick Start Guide using the router?
    Thank you

The process should be pretty much the same. The web interface for DD - WRT is obviously different from ours and DD - WRT has different features.

If you use RAIDar or ReadyCLOUD to find the NAS, or the NAS I.P. address can be found by looking at the display on the front NAS you should not notice a difference that you should not need to access the router's web administration interface.

However, if you want to use the web interface of the router to identify the NAS IP address or set a static IP using the router and then...

  • Ralink WIreless adapter N TouchSmart 600xt (600-600/t): problem w / 5 GHz 802.11n and DD - WRT fw

I really didn't have a good experience with HP support trying to figure why my wireless 5 GHz N is not yet detected by my new 600xt.  I tried to load the latest Ralink drivers and it made no difference.  There are a few settings in Device Manager on 5 GHz so I have reason to believe that it does not support 5 GHz as some previous TouchSmart users had trouble with.

This network is detected by my Dell laptop almost 2 years very well, so I didn't expect this.  My environment really demands N connectivity and even though I have a structured wiring all through my house, it is not likely that the location of this machine will get wired anytime soon.

I'm using DD - WRT firmware on a WRT600N router.  The DD - WRT software is a 2.4 version, but it's not the newest.  It is:

    DD - WRT v24 - sp2 (07/21/09) std - build 12533

If someone has already tried a newer version or more old firmware thanks for posting your experiences.

I had checked that the country in Ralink settings setting should be #7.  Nothing else seems not to apply to this problem.

I just got my 600xt the other day, but before I bought it I was wondering if 802.11n adapter that support 5 GHz.  It is my understanding that not all do.  I found a card for the 600-1050 version that says this:

    Integrated Bluetooth and WLAN 802.11b/g/n single-band (2.4 Ghz), 2 x 2 featuring MIMO technology

So I didn't even try helping with my band of 5 GHz on my router.  If yours is as well, so you will not be able to use the 5 GHz.

    Hope that helps.

  • Linksys WRT 1900ACS + Linksys SE2800 - gigabit connection problem

    Hi guys,.

I have a Linksys WRT router 1900ACS that is connected to a Linksys SE2800 switch. The switch is not recognized by the router as a gigabit.

I also connected a computer with a gigabit network card via a cable, but I get only 100 Mbps speeds. My internet commection is a 500 Mbps. If I connect the computer directly to the router speed is about 470 Mbps.

    Is the switch defective?

    Thank you!

    andvarga wrote:

For this 10/100Mbps port is displayed.

OK, then you have a wiring problem. Replace the Ethernet cable with a good cable to know who is connected to before 1000mbps.

  • WRT ac1900 connection is wired not reach 300 Mbps

I have a router AC1900 WRT to gigabit, it should be fast.

What should I do to get this router to work at the maximum speed available for me?

If I connect directly to the modem, I get 300 Mbps.

If I go through the router I get 42 Mbps, the router seems to be limiting it.

I can't find any option to release this place, ideas?

Deactivation of MP brought me to 308, I'm okay with that...

Thanks for the info on the Auto setting of stuff, we would think that they would have standards, don't think not!

Also, I do not use the Parental control...

Thanks again, I am fine with 308 Mbps...

  • How to configure the router Linksys DD - WRT for WVC54GCA E4200

I don't know how to configure the router Linksys DD - WRT for WVC54GCA E4200. DD - WRT is very complcated. Help, please! Also, I used the TZO.com to the DDNS. Can I set up the DDNS for DD - WRT router? I used the DDNS to my old model router before. Thank you.

I followed the TZO supporter last night. I can watch my WVC54GCA outside. All solution links:

    Hi Majekho,

Your domain name has decided to 99.245.xx.x. If you go to www.test.tzo.com from the location of the host, you must see this IP address. If these numbers are the same, then all with TZO works correctly. I guess that it is a simple problem with ports (80, 1024) is not open in the router and forwarded to the right internal IP address of the device (for example. 192.168.1.xxx).

In addition, if you have a DSL, you will need to call your ISP and ask them to show you how to put your modem in "bridge mode". This will disable the firewall in the modem that blocks incoming connections even if you open ports in your router.
In addition, during the test, it is best to test on your device remotely, this is due to a common problem called loopback with most routers. For more information about looping, take a look at:

  • Linksys WRT AC1900 Wifi Shut Downs

I have a Linksys WRT AC1900 Dual-Band router and it used to work ok but now wifi works after after a restart or deactivate/reactivate but after a random time, it stops working but it is still connected according to my device.  It's really annoying and I am considering buying an access point so that I don't deal with it...  Anyone experience this problem?  Any ideas would be appreciated.  I have about 35-40 devices distributed between 2.4 / 5G with various 802.x standards...

Because all connections and others are reset to zero with the pads. I presume over time, many features is basiclly fills the buffers and clogging of the device.

While you wait for an additional AP, I had shuft TURNED off any device of low priority and get the number of connections up to 15 or 20 and test.

Besure your channels in your area are open and not used by other neighbors that may cause interference.
