  I am having trouble with the first ProCS5. I have a project with a few clips I put together in a sequence. I put this sequence in another sequence. Here, I'll add one or two tracks of additional images and apply the color correction.

  The problem is: no effects video I drag the sequence (which is now a nested sequence) has no effect. What I change in the effect control will sho not upward in the monitor. Audio effects do not work, though. In addition, none of the tracks above the nested clip are displayed. To clarify: the nested track is on V1, another clip is on V2 and V3 is a picture. Only V1 is displayed.

  I know that it is supposed to work, and it doesn't in another project created in the same version on the same machine with the same kind of material. But no matter how many times I create a new project, just the application of video effects to a nested sequence does not work.

  Even more strange is the fact that my applied effects appear in the "export settings" window. They do not, however, in the final rendered file. I'd say it's a bug.

  What could be the reason for this behavior?

  You use acclerated CUDA/GPU rendering? If so, what happens when you change the rendering mode to your software only project?

  My mother has a Kindle and Kindle tech say it won't work with "N".

  Even if I reset the router to make sure that the password is correct, the Kindle again wrong password.

  Select the object that flies, look for the number bit down in the lower right of the object.  Select this option to display the arrow that allows you to configure where the CENTER of the object will end up by when it flies out and drag it still on.

  I have 2 footages from 2 different cameras that recorded the same event and I use Premiere CS6.

  I each sequence of a video track and slow them down to 40%. So I want to use the mixing effect, so in the last third of a scene, the other comes into play, since the camera 2 was set for a close shot.

  However, although mix effect works fine with scenes that are in the original speed, I couldn't make it work when the speed is changed! It seems that it goes with a totally different clip - that exists in the timeline and is in the same way that I wanted to stage 2 to blend.

  For the moment I change the speed setting (or time-remapping), loses the stage 2, in which I applied the effect mix, is the reference for scene 1.

  Any thoughts on how mix slowed the scenes without having to export the first slowed then merger of the output files?

  I see that there is certainly a problem. I put one clip on another and used the mix to 50%. Worked well. I changed the two clips to 40%, and the clip with the effect looks like it's on the frame to hold on to the last image. A bug for sure.

  Perhaps you'd be happier with a cross dissolve transition between the two elements? At least until the bug is fixed. I suggest that you put in a bug report. I'll do the same.

• Scroll wheel of the mouse in the preview of After Effects window (latest version) scrolls only a window when the value in a view of two windows, regardless of where the mouse is stationary.

  I had many problems with After Effects since the latest two updates, and after a CC full uninstall/reinstall, things are running. HOWEVER, After Effects seems to have lost the ability to use the mouse wheel to zoom in on more than a preview window. I use 2 views - Horizontal mainly, and regardless of the settings, window size, or I use the mouse, After Effects will only zoom on the left of the window. No matter where I move the mouse cursor, it ONLY zooms in/out left most window. Is there a setting I'm missing? Some I clicked on the button or setting I accidentally disabled?

  I use the Windows version of creative cloud.

  This issue (scroll wheel in a single zoom of multi-view Composition the first view panel) is a bug in after effects CC 2015 (13.6). We have a difficulty currently test for this bug and hope to come out with our next update which is tentatively scheduled for a month from now. We apologize for the disruption.

  Until the fix is available, shortcuts keyboard to zoom in (/ order and +/-) will try to zoom to the selected view.

  I have some problems with the new 2015 AE, if I use the vegas effect (After Effects help |) Generate effects) it only works when its display at 100% if I reduce the view for say 50%, the effect is not indicated.

  The effect derives its image and lower resolutions of course outlines, the result can change. Your image is low initially, so that any scaling commits can degrade simply Alpha too for the effect to work. The resolution defined pop up in full or in fact always check your settings to 100%. This is the only reliable method to predict the outcome in any case.

  There is no solution. CS4 is 32-bit edition of After Effects, WIndows XP is a 32 bit OS (except if you're running 64-bit), and a 32-bit windows process will only see the eligible amount of maxiumum of RAM (2 GB or 3 GB with the active switch). If you were to run CS5 (64 bit app) on a 64-bit operating system, you could make the most of your available RAM memory.

• Satellite U840W-C9S - Windows 8 installation and effective use of SSD

  I am trying to install Windows 8 on my Toshiba Satellite U840W C9S.

  It has two disks: * HDD (500 GB) * and * SSD (32 GB) *. Originally, my computer has Windows 7 HP, and, as I understand it, SSD has acted as a cache, so that Windows has been installed on the HARD drive.

  I installed Windows 8 at the disk and started looking for information on the ssd as cache usage.
  But it turns out that you must set the SATA RAID mode in BIOS, but I don't have the option here.

  The DAQmx driver accept all values in the range, but will check against the specified material and gives an error, a warning, or just simply adapt to a next higher range that match.

  So after a configuration, you can use the property node or the DAQmx vi to read the chosen effective range by the driver.

• What is the resolution for USB-6210 for positive ranges of entry?

  (a) what are the fixed beaches of USB-6210 where most suitable is chosen automatically depending on the settings of user intput scope? They are to +/-0.2, +/-1, +/-5 and + /-10?

  (b) I know that if I select + / 10 as the range and then I will get the resoultion of 20 /(2^16), but what happens if I want to the positive range only? So if my sensor gives values between [0.10] and data acquisition would choose the + / 10 range. Then could get a resolution higher than 20 /(2^16) and how?

  (b) No, a fixed range means a fixed range. You cannot change them.
