WRT54G2 - unable to connect to my Nintendo Wii

Hello.

I just bought Linksys WRT54G2 and tried to connect my Nintendo Wii to use it.

The SSID appears, but I can't connect. I get error codes saying he was unable to connect because of my firewall.

I've disabled the firewall and tried everything Nintendo has proposed, without success.

What should I do? Please, give me any suggestions you have, because I think I've tried almost everything possible. Thank you.

If your wireless network is secure you must enter the correct network key/password... To check the settings on your router Wireless Linksys click the Wireless tab and then click on the wireless security sub-tab, you will find your network key/password / password...

If WPA/WPA2 wireless security is that you had to change it to WEP and it should connect... (Sometimes Nintendo Wii does not connect to the WPA security compatible wireless network, so it should be replaced by WEP...)

  • connection for nintendo wii / error code 51330

    Hello
I can't connect my nintendo wii to the internet from my TV, however much I try... I'm trying each password and code I know, raising all the Wi - Fi help topics. I tried my password key etc code administrater, still no joy. I wonder if he wants the original keycode that I issued my pile of passwords, I know. How bypass this, or find the right key or password required? It gives my point of access, which is my protected account name and then wants a WPA - PSK (TKIP) key/password. Yes, I looked it up, knowing what it is now, still cannot find everything it will be except... frustraiting. :/
    I hope you can help
I currently have a portable years under windows vista and through Virgin Media wireless router
    Thank you
    Lianne

The recommended site was useful, because it was a wireless connection problem. At the back of my wireless router is the http:// address and default password. When I typed the address in my bar http:// above my computer, he directed me to my Web page personal wireless rooter. Here, I typed the password by default and it came with the details of the technology, who had the key password I was looking for. This password key was in *, so I thought, I still don't know it! I have deleated the * and typed a password for new, fresh, then clicked on enter. He told me that she was applying new settings so I tried on the nintendo wii. It worked!
Hope this can help someone else.
    Thanks again
    Blessings

  • WRT160N - unable to connect devices

I just got my WRT160N today. I work with computer almost every day and configure routers pulling from time to time, I went and configured properly. Well, the laptop which is connected physically can access the internet, which means that the router is connected correctly with the modem and its all good. I go to with my printer, mobile, wii and laptop wireless connection... all 4 say they cannot connect to the access point. I broadcast the SSID, and it shows. I put it with WPA2 and we tried both AES and TKIP/AES. I have triple checked my password, SSID, type, all encryption. So I gave up and I ran the CD it came with, in the hope that will fix it... Nope... Even after launching the CD, I am still unable to connect my wireless devices. Does anyone else have this problem and know how I can fix this?

OK, so I just spent 3 hours trying to get this up and running. I chose mixed-BG because that's what all my devices are. When I do this, the width of the 'channel' affects only 20 MHz. Apparently, that was my problem... You can change not 20 once you have selected the BG as mixed mode. So 3 hours later, I change to mixed, which is BGN, and then I was able to choose auto 20/40 for the width of the channel. Low and behold, now my stuff can connect. What he's joking kind of this, guys? Please release an update of the firmware or something that will solve this problem. Now, I have to get up to 5 hours of work, and I'll probably be in a bad mood all day. Thank you!

  • WRT54G2 - no internet connection

I have just replaced my WRT54G with a WRT54G2 router.  I used the same settings that were on my WRT54G.  Everything works fine as long as I have the blue cable plugged into my computer and the other end into Port 1 of the router.  As soon as I disconnect the blue wire from my computer, I lose my internet connection.  My computer connects to the router with no problems, I just can't connect to the internet.

I checked and double checked all the settings on my computer (in network connections) and the configuration of the router (192.168.1.1) page and they are identical.  My settings worked fine on the previous router, but for some reason, I am unable to connect to wireless internet with the new router using the previous settings.

    Any ideas?

Yes, you are right, reset the router and re-configuration it makes a big difference...

  • Unable to connect to the router with windows 7?

I have just bought an Acer Revo R3700 and installed Windows 7 above, but I can't connect to my router.

My router is heaven and successfully has 4 laptops (both under Vista, two 7 running), an Xbox and a Wii and two smartphones connected to him. Yet I just can't do this system to connect to him.

I'm at my wits end... I've tried absolutely everything. I searched the Microsoft answers site found several similar problems and tried a lot of solutions, including adding files in the registry and update drivers.

At first I could connect to the internet every now and then, but it was biblically slow (I tried to download Google Chrome and got him to 0.2 Kbps) and soon disconnected. Now I can't connect at all.

I just downloaded a the Ethernet controller driver and updated a driver WLAN as they apparently do not come with Windows, but it still doesn't work. Although the message has now changed to "Unable to connect" to "Limited connectivity" (even though I think it's more coincidence than anything else)

It should not be a question of signal strength, like the Xbox and laptop computers work fine when placed next to her.

Really needed a solution to what running an ethernet cable is not really an option :(

Thanks in advance guys. I'll be happy to provide any additional details if you need it :-)

EDIT: / / I would add that I seem to be able to connect fine with a phone as a hotspot? It is very very weird.

EDIT: / / I just managed to connect, but its very slow and not changed anything for the last 100 times? Everything seems to be completely random when it let me? : S

  • Unable to connect on the Messages or FaceTime after upgrading to Sierra

Good afternoon! After upgrading my MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2010) to macOS Sierra (10.12.), I am unable to connect to Messages or FaceTime. They worked fine before the upgrade.

    • Messages: After entering my Apple ID and password, I get the message "Could not sign in iMessage." "Could not sign. Please check your network connection and try again. "or"an error has occurred during authentication. "My network is connected to the network (where this message), and the password is correct. Also, I have generated a password app specific to Messages. Enter just grew the message "your Apple ID or the password is incorrect." Messages is works well with my Google Talk and AIM accounts.
    • FaceTime: After entering my Apple ID and password, the engine just turns and it never connects me. Similarly, I have generated a password app specific but use it just gets the message, "your Apple ID or the password is incorrect."

No idea how I can regain access to these applications? Thank you!

Reached out to the Twitter account of Apple Support. He proposed to restart. It worked.

  • Unable to connect to Airport Extreme after updating iOS 10

    Hey guys.

OK not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I can't connect to my Airport Extreme update IOS 10 my wife is.

We all have two iPhone 6 and 64 gb & update at the same time.

We have an ac 802.11 Airport extreme also an extreme dual band of airport & an express airport which none of us can connect to.

We can connect to the Home Hub 6 provided by our service provider broadband with no problems but it is only in a part of the House that we are unable to connect to my office or at the back of the House.

Tried resetting the network settings on the phone thought I might ask before having to try to reset back to factory settings base stations.

    Thank you

FWIW, I upgraded my iPhone SE 5 and Pro iPad to iOS 10 as well, but knows me not any problems connecting to one of my base station AirPort to Wi - Fi.

Or the other of your iPhones must all problems connecting to other networks in addition to the Home Hub Wi - Fi? In other words, are they only having problems connecting to your AirPort base station? If Yes, do you have someone nearby who also has an AirPort wireless network that you should check your iPhones with?

In the meantime, let's take a look at the current configuration of your network. We know that you, at least, three airport base stations. What is the exact models of non - 802.11ac extreme and Express?

These base stations are all linked back to the Home Hub with Ethernet they are all configured for a mobile network?

  • Unable to connect to the App Store since the upgrade to IOS 10

Tried to restart App Store and phone. changed the password and recorded out and back in but still unable to connect. We will, get apps but when I try and download it keeps asking for the password and say that it can not connect. Someone at - it advice?

    Hello CT05,.

Please ask for assistance with the App Store here in Apple Support communities. I understand how it is important to be able to download my new or existing applications on the App Store. Please try these things to see if we can get this to work for you as expected!

The first thing we want to make sure is that all your data is safe. You can perform a backup to iCloud or iTunes. Use this article to help with this: backing up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Once you have your backup, please go to appleid.apple.com on your computer or via a web browser. Log in with the Apple ID you are trying to connect to the App Store with. If it connects, take note of the Apple ID and password. Try the same information on the iPhone.

If this still does not work on the iPhone, please click Settings > Wi - Fi and turn Wi - Fi off. See if you can access the App Store on your cell data. If you can, it means that it some security on the wireless network that you are connected to that is blocking your connection. You won't be able to do this unless you use your cellular data or move you to a new wireless network.

If you are not able to access the App Store on cellular or wireless data, please open this help article: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi network. Check the section still not 'connect?' and look at the instructions to reset the network settings. What this does is actually reset some of your default network settings. You have to reenter your password to connect to wireless networks once this is done. Try again.

Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
