    Machine goes into "Windows Error Recovery" immediately after the Toshiba start screen and has the following options;
    (1) run the Startup Repair tool
    (2) start Windows normally

Option 2 results in a blank screen and finally goes back to the screen "Windows Error Recovery".

    Option 1 has the reboot dialog box;

So what I do now? There is no disc came with the laptop, so I can't reinstall the operating system. The dealer (Comet) is less useful and don't know no refund or Exchange for a defective product.

    Can someone please!

    Try this:

Press F8 immediately after that the laptop has been turned on.
Then choose the first option called fix my computer.
Then a new window should open and there you can choose the option called Toshiba recovery.

Please note then this procedure would start the Toshiba HDD recovery and the BONE to relocate again. This would be to format the whole HARD drive and set the OS to the factory settings.

In my eyes, you can use this procedure for recovery of HARD drive, or you can try to reinstall the OS using the Toshiba recovery disc.
Both lead to the same results

  • Error in loop Window Vista recovery

I have a Dell PC OptiPlex 960 with Windows Vista Ultima. He has been given to us and we are seniors. They do not give us the password. We have so bee you try to reset the password for administrators, but we managed. We have no disc reset, and because of our low income, fixed income, we are unable to afford it.  After reboot, the system keeps coming up "Windows error recovery", we also want to upgrade the system to Windows Vista Ultimate Edition of Windows 10. Can someone help us?

With any pc, the pc password can be removed by turning the computer off, remove the battery Mo,

wait 10 minutes or so, replace the battery (usually a good time to replace the battery with one)

a new)... Once the pc starts, enter in the BIOS (F2) faucet key.in BIOS, reset the date and time, the value

for any additional card, output tab, set the boot priority, save & exit BIOS... What is a desktop computer

Other PC work the same way, read the owners mauall if it is different...

In addition, vista OS installed by default, usually will have the windows hardware 10 does, even

Windows 8 and 8.1 don't work, 7 speaks of the best upgrade, run the utilities before compatibility...

  • Windows error recovery is completely locked (Vista)

Earlier today, I wanted to install Windows 7 next to Vista so I decided to partition my system. I used the free version of the Paragon partition system. However, he seemed to be taking muuuuch longer that it should have - on the scale of 3 hours and increasing every second. So, I decided to cancel the partition which caused my whole damaged hard disk. Now, whenever I start, I am taken to the Windows error recovery however, and I can't do ANYTHING. I can't move the arrow keys to try to use an old restore point, and I'm just helpless to see the tick of limitation in time down while trying to boot Windows causing just a reboot loop and go to the same screen.

I can't get into the BIOS and I can't have mode secured by conventional means. I downloaded a file of recovery and I burned it to a dvd. http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/ I do not know if it will work, but since I can't get into the BIOS I can't put my CD/DVD drive as the first when starting up.

It seems fitting that I have no options here. In addition, I don't have the installation disc more.

If you can not get into Bios to change the boot order, an installation disc will not help, will it?

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask if you have a recovery Partition.

It normally takes F10 or F11 to launch it to the market.

And try Paragon support because your use of it seems to be what started the problem.

    See you soon.

This problem occurred to me yesterday. When I started windows, there is here a dialog box saying "Windows Error Recovery" and below, is

"Unable to start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. "(I don't remember changing anything)

"If windows files have been damaged or misconfigured, startup can help diagnose and fix the problem. If the power was interrupted during startup, choose Start Windows normally. »

There are two options it saying

    -Launch Startup Repair tool

    -Start Windows normally

When I clicked on start Windows normally, seems that Microsoft Corporation loading bar never ends

When I clicked launch a startup repair... A box named "Startup Repair" appeared, saying "Startup Repair is checking your system for problems..." "But after that, it seems that nothing had changed. When I opened my laptop once again, he went to the dialog box saying "Windows Error Recovery" again.

    What should I do now?

    Hello

Looks like something was wrong with the recovery process and now Windows may start t. Maybe something messed with the registry or a few important Windows files, so I think that the only option to get rid of it using the Toshiba recovery disc. It will wipe the entire HARD disk and restore the factory settings, normally it should work.

Just so enter the Toshiba Recovery disk and follow the instructions on the screen. Windows will be reinstalled, and you get back to factory settings. :)

I have a problem with my laptop

When I restart my laptop, it tends to be stuck on this windows error recovery screen. It gives me two options
    (1) Lauch Startup Repair
    (2) start Windows normally

Tried both, it turns off, reboots that it ends on the same screen over and over again. Tried to access it via safe mode, nothing helps. tried to fix it through windows disk 7, did not work. tried last good configuration, not good either.

It's the screen that I always end up and it does not go further.

    Hello

Hmm, not easy, but in my opinion it s something wrong with properly installed Windows OS and HDD recovery doesn't work

You have the Toshiba Recovery disk?
If Yes, you can use it to restore the original settings windows. Just boot from that disk and follow the instructions on the screen, everything that s! :)

When I turn on my laptop, a blue screen appears after windows error recovery windows appear also... ask in safe mode are normal windows startup?... what I can do... is a problem on my system?... Please help me...

    Hello

    ·         What operating system is installed on the computer?

    ·         What are the error messages that are displayed on the blue screen?

    ·         Did you make any changes before the show?

In the recovery menu, select Safe mode and check if you can connect?

You can also try to restore the system in safe mode.

If you are able to boot to the desktop in safe mode, then I suggest you put the computer to boot in safe mode and check if it helps:

Now an option if safe mode or normal.it appears.to.start booting.and then just be going empty screen or error message. I do not have the original vista disc and do not have access to one. You can make a tool of startup repair, System Restore, etc from a disk of Vista from Microsoft:

But to do a repair upgrade installation, Vista runs in Normal Mode not Safe Mode.

  • Windows error recovery. Windows could not start... _

My Dell laptop I have from 10th July indicates the following:

    Windows error recovery

Windows could not start.  A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

If windows files have been damaged or misconfigured, Startup Repair can help diagnose and fix the problem.  If the power was interrupted during startup, chose to start windows normall7

    Start the reboot system (recommended)

    Start Windows normally

The two options to return to the same screen.

I tried the menu under the F keys, but all options listed do not seem to do anything.  I talked to Dell who ran a diagnostic test on the portable equipment and everything was ok.  They wanted then £70 the issue above which I am unhappy that have not had the laptop for a year yet!

    Hello mtb123,

    1. have you tried the steps suggested by Srinivas R in the previous post to make a startup on your computer repair using the Windows installation disc?

    2. you remember what changes you made to the computer before you start this error?

I suggest that you access the system recovery options using a Windows Vista installation disc and do a startup repair and if this fails, you can do a restore of the system from the Windows recovery environment.

You can see the previous post of Srinivas R to verify the information on the system restore.

  • Windows error recovery vista

I have an Acer Aspire 6929g with Vista.

Last night I turned on my laptop and I forgot about it, it was not plugged in then the battery is dead.
Today, I turned it on and windows error recovery is there.
I tried to launch launch repair but also to start windows normally. Both options present some loading screens and then resumed on windows error reappears.
I followed another forum and typed F8 to access the menu restart to safe mode options.
I tried all the safe mode and a few other options on this screen, but I finally get back to windows error recovery.
I have not all disks to restart.
    Any other suggestions?
The laptop is 3 years old.

    Hello

With an Acer you would normally press Alt + F10 to start recovery to factory settings process, if no disk came with it for purchase.

And a password for this process, it is normally of six zeros.

Be warned; all data will be lost when reinstalling.

    See you soon.

I have a Dell Inspiron 531, Windows Vista, it was closed and when it is restarted it went to Windows error recovery. If I select start windows normally or start the repair, it cancels the same screen.

    Hello

1st thing to try is a restoration of the system in safe mode

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

    Hello

Either yourself or a store should remove the HDD and it slave in a system that works to see if the data can be recovered from him. The error message indicates a corrupt installation volume rarely, this can be fixed without deletion and recreation of the volume (and doing so will lose all data currently on the disk). Once the data was retrieved from the Vista installation will have to be redone from scratch.
