WRTU54G-TM, must assign 802. 11A

I'm sitting here in the Setup menu of the web browser for my WRTU54G-TM from T-Mobile. I'm looking in the wireless menu options, and I'm putting it to 802. 11A my Xbox 360 ensures a wireless connection to internet. All I see are 2 GHz options and nothing anywhere near the 50GHz options which normally is 802. 11. Devrais I guess that means that my wireless router does not support 802. 11A? Or y at - it an option of setting I'm missing somewhere? Thank you for your help.

Lol that's a WRTU54G, G, which means that 802. 11 g.

Hello! My AirPort Express (802.11a/b/g) lights no more. I think he lost his power. What should I do to restore its power?

If AirPort Express light does not illuminate, this indicates that the internal power supply inside the Express did not, and the device will need to be replaced.

If you really a 802.11a/b/g in the Express version, it is at least 8 years old and probably much older than that.  Average life of this product was about 3-4 years, then you have had surprisingly good luck with your product.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer is to try the latest driver directly from Mediatek (Ralink).

    PCI / mPCI / CB (RT2860/RT2760/RT2790/RT309X/RT35X2/RT539X/RT3290/MT7630)
    30/06/2015Win7 32/64 Win8 32/64 Win8.1 32/64Win7:5.0.55.0 Win8:5.0.55.0 Win8.1:5.0.55.0

I had the same problem with the USB dual band Ralink wireless adapter.

He showed only the 2.4 GHz band, and I knew it was a dual-band card.

My first conclusion is that the adapter was defective and only 2.4 GHz radio worked.

I searched on the internet about the adapter model and found that someone suggested to install the latest driver for Ralink for it that has indeed brought the 5.0 Ghz band to life.

Don't say this is absolutely going to work for you, but you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c01035677.PDF

Chapter 3 lists all cards supported wireless. I see no support for wireless since any N cards.

I don't see the BIOS updates that add support for any model of card N Wireless either.

Installation a unsupported card will cause the laptop does not cranking up what the card does not support is removed.

  • All my Apple Extreme routers must be 802.11ac to get speeds of ac?

I think to replace all of our Apple upgrade routers to ac 802.11. I read somewhere that all routers, or even worse of all customers, must be compatible ac or the network will not work at speeds of HQ. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Any other questions, I should consider to optimize the performance of ac in a home network that has 4 Apple extreme, connected between them to cover a bigger house?  Thank you.

A network works at the speed of the slower part, then Yes. all routers must be AC so that the network to operate at the speed of AC.

If you want high performance connect everything with wires.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

    http://h20628.www2.HP.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c02834030-1.PDF

The only available for your model Wireless N card is the Broadcom adapter of abgn with the reference number used in the country where you live - 441530-001 or 002-441530.  (Chapter 3, p. 29-30).

You can install a wireless card for your model (not the 6710 (b) and it must have the part number HP on it or it won't work.

My recommendation is to do a search by the part number HP on eBay and get an opportunity but tested and functional.

  • 802.11A/n/AC vs b/g/n

    Hello

I want to use the fast wireless channel (who can see only some computers) only for the desktop with wireless adapters and more slow single band n for printers and mobile devices etc. However, every time I activate the slower 802.11b/g/n network, all devices that connect to the slower network and no device connects to the network fast 300 Mbps. I use the newer cards (laptops or adapters Linksys or ASUS 450 Mbps PCI-e adapters), so there shouldn't be any problem concerning those.

Is it possible that I can assure you that computers with maps to the right only connect to the network fast dual-band 802.11n?

    Thank you!

    Tibet

PS: The Distance is not a problem, there is an access point literally almost all computers!

    Hi Tibet,

I could not find the wireless card properties to use 5GHz, so if you could find a solution as I wrote above, that would be great.

If you use windows OS, you can then configure your wireless NETWORK card to prefer more 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz. Here's how you set it on windows 7 ( Control Panel-> Internet network & -> network-> Wireless Network Connection-> properties connection [right click] -> sets-> Advanced-> band preferably)

  • Update on Atheros AR5009 802.11a/g/n Wifi adapt

I have a Home Premium HP Windows Vista 32 bit I bought about 7 years ago... only the computer that I have... always works pretty well... well that slow and slow, but only on wifi. So I installed a software to check for driver updates. It shows that the Atheros is old... installed in 26/04/08 available 20/08/11. My guestion is how to get it without having to pay for it. Shouldn't have came to me since I bought it?

    Hello

Say you the computer; Wireless normally comes with laptops, unless you buy a USB Dongle wireless or Wireless PCI Card for your desktop.

Get the drivers of the computer/laptop or a hardware manufacturer directly.

Here is a link to the page of the HP driver.

Enter your model number and then select the operating system to the appropriate drivers and latest.

Nice day! I hope that all have a nice time. I have a HP Pavilion G60-458DX running Vista. I want to upgrade the wireless card/adapter to support 802.11n.  I would appreciate suggestions compatible.

    Thank you and enjoy all!

    Hi, John:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02985882.PDF

Looks like the only available wireless N card's network without WIRE Atheros AR9280 802.11a/g/n map.

Please see Chapter 3, page 3-7.

Make sure you get this model with the applicable B21 HP for the country you live.

For example: If you live in the United States you need part # 482260-001.

The part is available new from HP for US customers for $63,54.

My advice would be at the request of the part # on eBay and get a model used but tested this card for a lot cheaper.

Here is a list of the card used for people living in the US.

    http://www.eBay.com/Sch/i.html?LH_BIN=1&_sacat=0&_FROM=R40&_nkw=482260-001&_sop=15

No other N Wireless card will work but this one.

And the card must have the part number HP on it or it won't work.

You also have a great day!

When you say that you get only 20 MB do you want to say is that your data rate or throughput of your true?  If this is the true throughput which is right.  Remember that 802.11 is a technology of half duplex.  Half duplex and the management fee a client that connects to 54 Mbps can have a flow in fact up to 22Mbps

  • "Assignment of a top layer of the object on the master" (master page numbers) I understand the layer must be up to show above images placed on the pages, but how can I do this?

I have added page numbers to my master pages. They appear on the pages, but I have images on the individual pages which cover the numbers. I understand that I must assign a top layer of the object, but I don't understand how to do it. Please help me? Please explain a just clear as possible, I read the other replies but still do not understand. Wish it was as simple as select object, do a right-click, edit the layer!

    Thank you very much!

    1. open the layers panel (window > layers)

    2. in the control panel menu, choose new layer. In the dialog box, you can name the layer if you like Page numbers.

    3. on your main page, select the text block with the selection tool (black arrow tool) page numbers.

    4. If you now look at the layers panel, you will see a small square right of one of your layers (or 1 layer if you have not created any new layers). Drag instead of the layer of Page numbers. [Explanation: the square is a "proxy" for the selected objects.] [Drag to the other layer moves the objects on this layer.]

    Good luck!

  • Satellite Pro A200-16YT - update wireless adapter card for 802.11n

Satellite Pro A200-16YT (PSAE1E) with Windows XP Professional SP3 from the East.
I tried to increase my existing 54 Mbps wireless network speed by replacing the Atheros AR5007-EG existing with 802.11n 802.11a/b/g more quick adapter.

The Atheros driver is v9.2.0.439 (08/04/2011) it's later. I tried to install an Azurewave AR5BXB72 (Atheros AR5008) as a substitute, but without success. As well as trying the standard Windows wireless configuration, I used the Atheros Client Utility (ACU) which confirms that the card and the driver are installed and activated, but the radio does not, so no there is no association/connection to the wireless network!

Reinstall the original AR5007 works without any problem. If someone experienced similar problems or can offer a solution, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Hello

Not sure about this Wlan card but I read in the forum that some people had similar problems, allowing the new card Wlan.

    Check this thread for example:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=253505

It seems that the problem is related to the assignment of the WLan card pins.

  • Presario v5000 802.11n

I recently acquired a HP Compaq Presario V5000 CTO that has no wireless card installed. I know that when this laptop was made the only one made for her wireless mini-PCI cards were 802.11a/b/g and I see that they are easily available from many sources. However, I wonder if an adapter Minipci 802.11b/g/n card work properly in this notebook.

Also, I would like to know if the antenna is factory installed in it or if it would have no antenna, if it has been initially configured without wireless capability.

Thanks in advance for any information you may have about these issues.

You must find and install a card provided as OEM on the laptop wireless. HP implements a block of BIOS for cards not supported wireless. You must go on eBay or something and find a wireless card with a part this time HP number. With respect to the antenna, it was long as laptops haven't wireless antennas. The V5000 is pretty new I'm sure that the antennas installed at the factory in the world. To be sure just open the memory (the Central Bay on the bottom) and look for the antenna cables. Here is the Service Manual:

So in summary, sorry no "n" Wireless is possible. If there are antennas there will be only two anyway and you need three for "n" wireless in most cases.
