WSA as a client device on Agent directory context.

Hi people,

There is little documentation on it so I thought that I would check if someone else has run through already or can direct me to a document...

I installed the Agent directory context and that you want to configure the ASO as a client device but I can't find any documentation on doing so. I followed a great document of Ludovic Sanchez on the configuration of the old AD Agent on the SAA, I used some of this config to configure the ASA as a client device on the ADC. Someone has set up the ASO as a client device on CDA or can point me to a doc?

Rgds,

Karl.

I have...  Make sure you get all the patches for installed ADC.  There are 4, and you need to install each one, in order.

Once this is done, connect to the ASO, go in / network authentication.  Create a domain for your ad. Under 'Active Directory Agent' check the box 'enable transparency User Identification... '. "Enter the name of the ADC or IP and a shared secret.

Open a browser and go to https://<> of the CDA >, connect as that of "Admin" with the password defined.

Add ad servers in the GUI...

Add consumers of identity in the GUI...

  • Problems with getting the MacBook pro bluetooth to detect client devices he already never associated with.

    Hello.

    I am unable to get my Macbook pro to detect devices, that it has never been previously connected.

    The Macbook pro is detectable by the Bluetooth devices, but I don't seem to have an option to be able to detect the client devices.

    My macbook pro gives the possibility to be discoverable - mode client for example, I want to discover clients for example, speakers, headphones.

    My bluetooth speakers or headphones work fine on my Ipad so I know the beat headphones works well.

    The pro macbbook is detectable and I can connect by Ipad or phone for her, so I don't know the bluetooth on the Macbook works fine.

    Once coupled display in the area of discovery - and can be connected to.

    I think, basically, it means that the Macbook pro connects as a client - but I don't see an option to put in Server mode.

    How can I do so that it looks non-paired devices - I use 10.11.5 (15F34) attempts to connect to the Beats headphones.

    I have reset PRAM etc.

    I even tried plugging an external bluetooth USB adapter - this did not provide additional options.

    Concerning

    You have removed the devices you are trying to connect to the MacBook Pro? BT devices may only be connected to one thing at a time.

  • Registration of a client device in a java application with BES/MDS

    Hi all

    I put this thread here that my application is a java application, but it could have also listed under the section development push as well.

    I have a part of my application that needs to connect to the BES to a certain company to receive push messages. The app works fine establishment of a listener and receiving thrusts by the MDS Simulator, and I also added more code to register the device with the BIS (BPA) from BIS example of Simon Hain.

    Initially I thought that the he had to register with the BES, just like how register us with the BIS except change some settings, as do not add an app ID etc. I have created a basic application of the Z10 push and remember that coding is the same for the BIS and BES except that the application ID and address BIS have been left blank. But now, after some research, I think with Blackberry 6/7, to onboard with a BES connection (unless a middleware program requires us to send some data onboarding) to receive a Push message, we just open a connector to the port number using the deviceside = false setting and wait for help to arrive.

    I looked on the net and forums to directly answer this question but can't seem to find one, that's why I'm asking here confirm.

    Quite simply, taking example of Simon for base, if I plug a client device to a BES (where the server application didn't need any onboarding of the device, its function is to, just send a message to the JSON style to the MDS with the device PIN to the device) would need to register the client with BES/MDS device, as Simon does with its function of registerWithBpas() to register with BIS/BPA , or could I just go directly to opening a connection to a port with the parameter; deviceside = attached false and wait for a Push message to arrive.

    Of course the devic has already been saved in the BES with its ID, e-mail address of the person using this device, etc.

    Simon if you get a chance to personally respond to it, that would be great!

    Thank you all for your time and your help.

    Rob

    Do not enter the unit, simply push the spindle for the MDS and push message will appear on the device.  As you rightly point out, the device is already on the BES and must use the MDS to access the internet in any case.

  • How can I tell that PC has a client device use or locked?

    I searched the forums in many different ways and could not find a similar question, but perhaps my keywords are false.

    vCenter 2.5.0 build 119598

    VI Client 2.5.0 Build 119826

    ESX 3.5u3 Build 143128

    All our virtual machines have Device Type "Client" selected for the CDROM. If anyone has a connected to the local drive of their PC, the virtual machine cannot be VMotioned.

    This record could have been mounted days ago. The employee could be out of the office. Of course, if we cannot VMotion where we need for this is bad.

    First question, is there a log file somewhere (I searched everywhere under the ESX host and the VM log file and places I know on the vCenter server), which will be the list, perhaps by IP address or hostname, which mounted PC Player?

    Second question. Once we find out who got the drive connected and if the person is released, what are our options? Hard to start their PC will release the lock in vmware? Is their something we can do in our own session VI Client to start them? It is grayed out, so it's not like we can turn it off or stop. I know that it's like a mount of unix, and sometimes the only thing you can do in these cases there is to restart. But there is no way we reboot the virtual machine or the host ESX, must wonder if a PC reboot would do the trick or if vmware is a solution aside server, or if this is a feature request. Certainly, I hope that my first question will not be a feature request, but in a large environment, I don't see why they would not have an easy way to see which machine currently connected client device...

    Thank you!

    You can run a powershell script to see if the cd-rom or floppy disks are connected and disconnect them.

    What I'm not sure, if it would also break a lock for a client that has connected cd. I suspect it will

    Search the vi toolkit, and there are several scripts for this

  • Device from the Application context context

    I am a beginner to programming of Blackberry and I'm trying to understand the different between developing countries in the device against the Application context.

    My development so far has just been messing around with the listeners and figureing on their functioning on the eclipse Simulator

    My current test project consists of a phonelistener that simply writes to console when a phonelistener event is fired. I think that my project as a module system, where this is not really an app its just something that I want, running in the background. But perhapse I think about evil.

    I have my project to "autorun". Now, what are the benefits to my project to extend the Application?

    at the moment I just:

     CustomPhoneListener extends AbstractPhoneListener

    It works fine and I can see the console outputs when I simulate phone calls. I know that my sample program is very simple, but can someone shed some light on what problems might come with not extending "application"?

    Thank you

    Stephanie

    Device vs. request context has no meaning for me.

    Each Application has its own context, says Simon if you use a listener usually perform you in the streamed Application context too.

    Re the difference between

    CustomPhoneListeners extends the Application Implements PhoneListener
    and

    CustomPhoneListeners implements PhoneListener
    I would ask you to think about this:

    CustomPhoneListeners extends String Implements PhoneListener

    What is the advantage of the extension of string?  Not really, except in certain circumstances, you need to treat your CustomPhoneListeners as a string!  Same thing with Application, if you want to treat like your own Application, then you might want to code

    CustomPhoneListeners extends the Application Implements PhoneListener
    Personally, I think that you don't want to have an Application also act as a PhoneListener, this does not seem a useful merger.

    About the benefits of creating an Application, it has no value extending the Application If you can work in the listener.  But you can do a treatment long, or perhaps a network call.  Or maybe you are not sure of the reliability of your code.  If you run this in the context of the phone, then if he dies or hangs, it is the phone that is killed.  Not good.  Then you can consider extending the Application, it is started (enterEvent Dispatcher), and then you can pass things for her to run.

    Personally, I do as little as possible in the headphones.

  • client light t5740 - agent HPDM

    Hello

    I was wondering if someone could remember where HPDM agent (for a thin client of t5740), specifically 4.3

    device recently returned repaired with HPDM version 4.5 HP, however this doesn't seem to be compatible with the version of HPDM (4.3) on the server.

    search for the error code: 14000052 gave me this idea, but others thoughts most welcome.

    Thank you.

    turns out that the bios of the thin client is not able to boot from a USB pendrive of 64 GB!

    a 2 GB key has worked — first time, no problem!

    moral of the story is - keep these keys GB 1 & 2... they can become useful at some point.

  • recover device user agent?

    This may be a bad question but would like advice in the right direction.

    Suppose an application has a built-in browser field. In request HTTP for the browser, the application must add user profile, x-wap-profile agent, accept, accept-charset, etc. in the header. If we want the app to work on different phones, we would like to dynamically detect the user agent of the device profile, x-wap-profile, accept, etc. of the capabilities or properties.  Can use them for the browser field.

    Is there a way to retrieve user profile, x-wap-profile of a device agent?

    Thank you

    Try this one:

    String version = "";
            ApplicationDescriptor[] ad = ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager()
                    .getVisibleApplications();
            for (int i = 0; i < ad.length; i++) {
                if (ad[i].getModuleName().trim().equalsIgnoreCase(
                        "net_rim_bb_ribbon_app")) {
                    version = ad[i].getVersion();
                    break;
                }
            }

            return "Blackberry" + DeviceInfo.getDeviceName() + "/" + version
                    + " Profile/" + System.getProperty("microedition.profiles")

  • vSphere SSL for the Web Client (device vCenter) certificate error

    Hello

    I installed ESXi 5.5 and right once I deployed the device vCenter. After the configuration and a few reboots, I navigates to the web client, and I get this error when I try to logon:

    "Based on the current configuration, the authentication server's SSL certificate was not reliable."

    I have until this google everything on the subject and outside tutorials on how to change certificates in the Windows version of vCenter, nothing on the device of vCenter. I was happy when I found the 'Certificate regeneration enabled' checkbox, but that did not help either. I can test successfully SSO settings in the control panel of vCenter.

    Everyone please?

    Hello world

    I developed an application of game and because it is a 3D game, using a lot of resources of the device, it will crash / frozen in our device of players (customers), I need to know why.

    The problem is in the Passport, before releasing passport, our game works greatly to Z10, Z30, Q10, Z3 for more than half the year, but it is crash / frozen usually in the Passport.

    I had a camera, passport, if my game has a programming problem with a sure way to repeat, I can solve any problem of crash as soon as POSSIBLE, but he never accident / frozen in my passport test event if I played for a while.

    This problem has confused me for a long time...

    My question is this,

    1, is there a way to get crash log or system easily connect my device players (customers)? Do not need to install any token debugging and other environment in their PC. I knew only a few ways to get the shrimp log but not custom device.

    2, I found a ' BlackBerry Logging Tools software "in the settings of the device, it records something about mechine, but this is a binary format, the name like"bbswltLog... ". ", I can convert it into a format readable humman? How? Can I get the official BlackBerry developers help? I Googled that, but have not all useful messages.

    I remember old BB OS can use Alt + lglg to access the stack app crash information in any device, I expect an easy way even in the new system of BB10
