WUMC710 stuck at 20 mhz

Managed to get the WUMC710 running. However, on checking the wireless network settings that they show only 20 mhz despite my setup of router with 80 mhz. The poster also the wrong string. It's all real slow.

WUMC710

ASUS RT-AC66U

Hi Geekychix

I managed to fix it. I changed the "wireless mode" on my router to "N + AC" to "Auto" and then the WUMC710 went straight to 80 mhz. Which is strange, but worked.

Thanks for your response, tho

    Hello

My CPU is stuck at 598 MHz. I think it has been like this since I bought it 2 years ago. I am in Australia at the moment and very rude support could not help.

I did a search in google and got a few answers, but nothing helped. I tried to change the management settings power, BIOS settings, BIOS upgrade, etc.. Nothing! The CPU runs at a max of 598 Mhz

Any ideas. I heard that there is a utility that could solve this problem, but toshiba has taken off the Web site for any reason

    Andrew

No, no update of the utility or the BIOS update will help.
It seems that the firmware must be updated on this laptop.

For the most part this microcode update is necessary after the replacement of the motherboard.
I think that there is without a lot of do you contact the service partner in your country for the microcode update

    Hello world!

I have a 'M30X 124"which normally takes place on 1, 6 GHz, when I use it with my diet.
No matter what I change on the speed of the processor in this Toshiba tool, it still works on 591 MHz!

I have not used for 2 years. Now, I've seen this problem.
My motherboard has been changed until I stopped using it. I read on some forums that it is a problem of communication of processor/motherboard... and it has a firmware update (or other) on CD that solves the problem. I tried this fix firmware from another laptop, but without success.

    Anyone know this problem?

    Hello

I doubt that you can solve this problem.
The firmware must be updated by Toshiba service technicians

This is necessary after the exchange of motherboard or the CPU will be blocked to 600 Mhz.

Totally amazing. The problem was due to be a universal power adapter that gives about 75-80 Watts... I tested another a nominal 95 Watts... but if you want to use a universal adapter you really want a great thing... 135 watts!

I'm still regularly taped to 800 MHz, when I run my laptop computer on the sector, coming from hibaernation or hot start. Most of the time I don't have my battery, because of the weight. To answer the first question: I use the laptop on the different places where I mooring or AC (170W) available. I am fully updated and use bios 1.26.

The only solution seems to turn off the laptop for a few minutes and start it again. Must be cooled?

  • B200 M3 memory stuck at 1333 MHz in performance mode

    Hello

We have 2 B200 M3s in a new deployment running 2.0(3a). The B200s are configured with 64 GB using DIMMs of 8 GB, using BANK 0 of each channel. We deployed a policy of BIOS specifying performance for LV DDR mode and confirmed this setting takes effect in the BIOS, but the memory continues to run at 1333 MHz. When we look at the inventory server, the DIMMs are reported as 8GB 1600 MHz DIMM dual rank. We tried forcing the DIMMs in mode low voltage and return to the mode of performance without result.

In other UCS environments, we have deployed these same blades with the same configuration of the memory and BIOS policy and had no problem getting the RAM at full speed. We do not use any kind of power is corking.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Brad,

What is CPU?  support for the B200-M3 CPU 3 do not support the 1600 Mhz:

  • Portege M100 - blocked processor at 600 Mhz, have tried all BIOS versions

Just my BIOS was about 1.20 when I went to site Web from Toshiba to get the drivers to install and to found the update the BIOS so I followed instructions burn it to a disk, the last one I have and I went, but after the update, I noticed that xp says he was clocked at 600 MHz not 1 2 GHz.

So I used the cpuid to see if it is xp, but it shows as running 598,6 MHz processor and can flow to 600,4 MHz max so I went in the BIOS tried off sleep CPU max CPU and so restarted then I thought it was the xp so I reinstalled but still the same I used Suse Linux always the same.

I've reflashed the BIOS with 1.50 through the same restarted windows. I get on where and it becomes ridiculous, even, I went and found all BIOS versions on the US site of Toshiba, which dates back to version 1.10 to 1.50, so I tried all the. Nothing!

I am really puzzled that anyone can sort this is really boring and slow.
    Thank you in advance

    Hello

Just a question; the motherboard has been replaced by the past?

I know, after the replacement of the motherboard, the test & diagnosis must be performed in order to update the CPU microcode on the circuit board.
If the firmware is not updated your CPU would be stuck at 600 Mhz.

In order to update the firmware, the ASP must be contacted.

The other reason why the CPU runs only at 600 Mhz is the setting low processing CPU Toshiba power saver.
Check if the Toshiba power saver is installed on your laptop and set the options at a higher level.

I look forward to rant, but I need to get out some of my chest...

I ordered my w520 July 30... It is now September 3... I'm still not able to use my w520...

I'll put aside delivery period, delay of UPS and double clearance...

I'll put aside my camera comes without charger... and shipped to me without it too (received August 16, notice of loader missing was sent the same day)

I'll put that the magazine that is sent to me is 65 watt... (received on 26 August and reported in wrong party same day)

But I'm not putting aside, is that my W520 is defective. I report all the questions the day I got it... So far, I'm not have issued a replacement. Also, up until now I have not use except on battery because until now I have not received my 170 Watt power adapter.

The seller told me that a refund of $50 is to be made to my CC as a compensation for the shippment missing charger, although it never happened - a minor detail, but since I'm ventilation why not to mention.

  • Connection speed 2.4 Ghz E3000 and USB HDD

I use WRT160N for my internet and wifi at home. For the storage of the laptop, I use Seagete Free Agent 2 TB USB 3.0, which is nice by car.

So I desided to buy E3000 and use as storage server, router, internet and wifi.

I install everything, he went peaty smoot.

During installation, I noticed that 2.4 GHz wifi shows only max 150 Mbps, but 5 GHz 300 Mbps connection speed (I use wifi mini card dell 1510 on my Dell laption, supports the 2.4 and 5 GHz).

I tried different things to the 2.4 GHz to display connection 300Mbps speed (disable 5 GHz option, set the mode to "N" only, always use WPA2, etc.), but without success. When I connect to the old WRT160N, I can see 300Mbps speed of connection.

Can you advice what settings should I set up, so that I can use connection to the E3000 300Mbps?

The second bit I want to share and comment on is the access speed to the reader of the UBS.

When I connect to the reader directly on my laptop, I am limited to 32 MB/s (256Mbps) read/write speed (the laptop is USB2.0, so it seems normal).

Now, when I write of the E3000 max speed wifi I do is about 3 to 3.5 MB/s (24-28Mbps) and when it is connected to the local network (100 Mbps) speed is about 4 - 4. 5 MB/s (32-36 Mbps).

It seems slow, peaty compared to the speed of the USB. 5 GHz wifi rate shows 300Mbps connection 144Mbps speed/2.4 Ghz (which is 18 MB/s), so that the router should be able to keep read/write rate highter.

Is this a problem E3000 or this is the max I can get material in there?

    1. it's a router not a storage attached to the network power house. If you want a NAS with high performance get a NAS. The USB HDD is more for practical reasons, then for high performance. Drive speeds you see through the router are good enough for a device like this. Check what CPU you have in your E3000 and which processors they use in NAS devices that are able to provide data of 250 Mbit/s from a connected USB device and you will see that it is a completely different League...

    2. the 150 Mbps is a rate of 20 MHz. The connection uses only a band of 20 MHz and not a 40 Mhz. This is usually due to one of these two reasons:

    a. many pilots (for example Intel Centrinos) wireless equipped with 20 MHz preconfigured on the band 2.4 GHz. It will link ever more quick then 150 Mbps, unless you change the configuration of the driver.

    b. most / all new routers observe interference of signal on the tapes and automatically returns to 20 MHz mode, if they find too much interference. If you have many other access points in your proximity 40 MHz would mean more than twice the interference on the connection. Any other communication on stuck on 40 MHz channels would interfere with your communication. With a lot of traffic interfering on the range 2.4 GHz, you would see very low real rates if you forced 40 MHz in this case.

And your neighbors using 802.11 g wouldn't really appreciate your bandwidth hogging. Because of the limited number of channels without overlapping on the 2.4 GHz band a router running on 40 MHz basically use 2/3 of the total available on the entire 2.4 GHz band available bandwidth. The execution of 40 MHz in a neighborhood with many other access points is all just a terrible idea...

  • Blocked CPU Accelerator

Since I own my E7440 Latitude, I encounter the following problem:

The i5-4310U processor is supposed to throttle from 800 to 2600 mhz based on request.
However, after sleep it seems stuck at 800 mhz when running on battery power.

This translates into 100% cpu usage and slow performance. Rebooting solves the problem - until the next morning.

I hope someone can help me find a solution to this problem.
As a temporary solution I'm manually control the speed of the cpu with a tool called ThrottleStop.

(Potential) solution or explanation is welcome.

This problem was solved by replacing the motherboard.

I have two accounts in Mail Version 9.3 (3124) - my iCloud email and my Yahoo email. 90% of all works, I can receive messages, delete messages, move messages, etc. However sending my Yahoo account does not work to Send Mail app in my iCloud account doesn't work (even if it's not instant - just sent a test and he was sitting in my Outbox for about 6 minutes;) I got my iPhone running stopwatch, but it resets twice as it is wont to do since download iOS 10, but that's a topic for ANOTHER post), however anything sent from my account Yahoo is located in the Outbox for DAYS (usually until I realize that I forgot the problem, silently curse me and copy - paste the message via the site Web of Yahoo in Chrome).

I tried Yahoo to disconnect and reconnect it. I tried to remove the 'sandbox' suggestion of Linc Davis here: Mail is stuck in my Outbox?

I really want to plan a Genius Bar appointment for this but I'm frustrated because I use the Mail App every day and often forget I can not send him, and then e-mails sit for days before I noticed the small Outbox (1) in the sidebar! Please help me Apple community, you're my only hope.

  • Photos: Stuck on the preparation of library 0%

I spoke with an Apple support technician on the phone for 45 minutes and he could not understand what was wrong.  I live 3.5 hours on the Apple store is the closest, so I can just take my laptop to a Genius bar.

In fact, when I try to put in place the Photos app, it gets stuck on "preparing library - 0% Complete."  The app is not frozen; I can choose the option to make the round of photos.  It is just hung up at 0%.

When I spoke with tech support, he made sure I was updated to the newer operating system.  He had me sign to iCloud and reconnect, and it does not solve the problem.

So... what gives?  I really want to use the application since I was about 80 GB of photos on the cloud of my iPhone, I want to be able to manage on my laptop.

    System information:

    Mid-2012 13-inch macbook pro

Processor: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7

    Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    Thanks for the tips!

You don't mention how long you waited? Photos can take, literally, days to upload to the photo library to iCloud. Your Wifi connection speed also plays a role. Can you give us more information?

    See you soon,.

  • Clock at 10 MHz continues with 1.8 Vpp using 6544

Hi everyone, I need to have a continuous 10 MHz clock with the help of 8Vpp 1, NI6544. In the examples, I found these 3 examples for me:

1 dynamic generation with voltage Configuration.vi (example HSDIO)

2 dynamic generation with exported (example HSDIO) Clocks.vi

3 gen Dig Pulse Train-continues-Dig Start.vi (example Daqmx)

I have the NI6733 Council. But it wouldn't work with a frequency of 10 MHz. I don't know that it should be fairly simple to build. But I'm stuck right now.

    Thank you, Yan.

I think I know what I'm supposed to do with the clock. It seems that I have to generate signals in DIO terminals or I need the signals digital or not.

How can the question, I get a single signal with just Boolean out 1 DIO. I mean, I want to have a controllable DIO with boolean regardless of the time. It's like I would have:

DIO0--> set to true, it gives me 1, 8V. If set to false, it gives me 0V. And it continues to run until it is manually stopped.

    Thank you

    Yan

  • PC lacks resources to process the signal of 1 MHz. What do I do?

    Hello!

I created two FM demodulation algorithms in LabView (I have LabView 7.1)

Now, I want the two test methods.

I calculated the proportion of real parameters of the FM signal: carrier frequency, frequency of message and frequency deviation.

I run the FM signal with parameters:

    Sampling frequency: 5 MHz

    Frequency: 1 MHz

    Message frequency: 2 kHz

    Frequency deviation: 7, 5 kHz

    Amplitude: 1

The problem is - my PC can't handle this insane amount of data.

I don't know, but VI is running very very slow, it looks like it's stuck.

    My PC is:

    1.6 GHz AMD (kernel)

512 MB DDRII RAM, bus 333 MHz

The overall objective must be capable of handling nearly original FM radio signal (with carrier around 100 MHz, message - deviation of 75 KHz and 20 KHz)

I understand that, for the signal, there should be about 5 samples per period.

But treatment 100 MHz signal - requires unreal performance.

How to deal with this problem? Should I downconvert my signal or use other techniques any?

Any help and suggestions are very appreceated.

Absolutely! downconvert instantly when you acquire your signal to reduce memory needs.  Or better yet Downconvert in the material before the acquisition of the signal and you should be able to handle the data in near real-time.
