  Now, I want to add (sorry need) to add the disk hard sata old pc from my wife this as to stransfer files and information. It's the old disk that contains 2 partitions and one was the windows XP partition bootable.

  I connected it but the PC keeps just reboot.

  I suspect (after a lot of research) it is the safety of UEFI boot?

  If the bios, I get up it shows two thin hard drives. Still won't start...

  OK so far, I suspect that I have to disable secure boot and enable start inherited. Then start the pc and see hard drives.

  OK, a few questions.

  After disableing uefi secure safety of startup and startup and seeing the two drives I can, then re-enable secure with the installed drive starts?

  I can't believe that the pc HP product in its current form and that he advised anywhwere on any document (as far as I could see before buying, or after purchase) the device does support only 1 hdd. I checked all the documents at best before purchase and there wa sno mention this. I saw there were 4 drive sata hard pitches with 1 for the current hard drive and the CD dvd sata drive.

  However, I cannot mount nicely the 2nd hard drive under the dvd rom with an access hole player loan already in the box and the slots of power and sata are nearby!

  Thanks for any info about this new technology. (old well familiar with CP/M and back (all flavors), Windows from version 1 to 3 and then 3.11 then XP and also nearly 40 years electronic maintenance but still they keep coming to the top with new things to bamboozle me.)

  I'm happy for solution Bravo but reserve until I can test this point. Thanks for the good advice and it's sort of fix, but eventually I would like to install the drive as 2nd drive.
  I had also just realization that simple the most secure solution will be to use a sata - usb adapter then hot connect once the pc has started and transfer files. However after that use the same card and will remove the ability to boot from that partition and should be good to use in the same pc.
