WVC54GCA - saved to disk NAS.

I hava a couple of these cameras and they send me email alerts on motion detection.

Recently, I received a NAS drive. I have changeed the save path in the preferences.

A folder is automatically created with three subfolders AVI, data and snapshot.

I've been disappointd noted that there were no recorded AVI files.

There were several .sef and a file single .smy in the Data folder.

No snapshot.

How can I rectify this?

Hi VeeCee. The WVC54GA does not save to AVI. You can use the Linksys camera software to view .sef files, or you can use conversion software to convert files in AVI format .sef.

    Hello.

We can start from this solution.

To start your computer using the last good known Configuration, follow these steps:

    1. Start your computer.
    2. When you see the message "Please select the operating system to start", press the F8 key.
    3. When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, use the ARROW keys to select last good Configuration known (your most recent settings that worked)and press ENTER.
    4. If you use other operating systems on your computer, use the arrow keys to select Microsoft Windows XP, and then press ENTER.

If this does not help, we think of something else.

What you have above is nothing else than a bunch of recent shortcuts in the My Documents folder.  Only * real * file.

My Recent Documents shows just what files you have accessed recently - with a shortcut to this file.

My first suggestion - delete it:

    Hello

    1. are you referring to the. File ALA or APA format?

Unfortunately. ALA files are that you not supported by Windows 7, but you can use your favorite search engine to download and install a program according to the file type, you must use.

NOTE: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • Federated back cached data are saved to disk on the local cluster?

With the new feature Federated consistent caching, 12.2.x, is the internal cache containing rear replication data saved to the local drive?

What happens if the local cluster goes down, when there is great in waiting for data of backlog waiting to be replicated (probably due to remote cluster being down for an extended period)

Can this back then recovered and reread cluster remote automatically when we have cold restart the local cluster?

Any pointers to documentation of coherence on the above issues would be useful.

To persist a Federated Cache, including arrears, all you need to do is configure on your diagram of federated, as you would for a distributed system.

Why?  Federated Caches are in fact increased distributed Caches, which basically means that all of the features available for distributed Caches are also available to Federated Caches!

Basically just add the following to your Federated plan

    active by default

For more information on the new features of persistence, take a look at:

  • Restore the catalog from the NAS - PSE 13

All media (pictures, videos) stored on an external NAS, an extensive catalog was stored on my HARD drive and saved on the NAS server.

When my hard drive crashed, I tried to restore the catalog, but he could not 'connect' to existing media still on the NAS, but instead I had to restore all media on a differrent drive.

I'm looking for is the ability to simply restore the "database" and connect it to the existing media.

Is there such a possibility in PSE 13?

Also, I would be grateful for an explanation of the different files PES creates in a catalog. The files contain the actual "database"? Can these files be saved directly without using the "catalogue of back-up" - command to post-secondary studies?

    Thank you for your help,

Yes, it's how a backup of the Organizer. You cannot use the backup yourself, it is not a simple "copy" of your photo files folder field of the plantation. It is a resource for the process of restoration of the catalog. You cannot 'connect' in the backup folder. But the huge advantage is that you can restore your catalog (database and other resources) so your image files.

    No problem.

The catalog itself is not a file, it is a complete folder containing your database: a file named ' catalog.pse13db, which is a database sqlite; more than many other files and subfolders.

Looking for the location of the catalog in the menu help/information system of the Organizer. You may need to do a search with Windows Explorer for file catalog.pse13db.

It is simple to copy or move the catalog folder. Because its content is not changed when you move or copy, it is easy to "Save" and "restore" the catalog itself.

The problem is that if the content of the catalog do not change the location of the file changes when you restore to a different location (disk or main folder). You must "reconnect" files, which is to change the location of each file that is saved in the database.

Knowing the purpose of all the files and subfolders in the folder catalog probably will not help you. To 'reconnect', you will need to use sql queries to change the catalog.pse13db database.

  • Running out of disk space on drive D

    Hello!

Recently, I get a message warning me that I m not enough space on drive D. I'm clean as suggested, but it does not have any effect.
The MS forum moderator suggests it is not an operating system problem, but a problem for Toshiba.

It seems that the files are saved on disk D that shouldn't be the case...?

Sorry for this question but what is alert MSG?
And what was the argument why it should be matter of Toshiba?

Is this info from the operating system itself or given by Toshiba as Tempro tool?

  • Error reading disk Cluster

A code developed in LV2009 was opened in LV2012 and recorded.

A new problem has arisen - I have a set of values entered by the user are saved to disk as a cluster (Strict Type Def)

But I get an error when I try to read the cluster. I attached codes and screenshots. A simple code, but a mistake stand up for no apparent reason. I tried reading and writing to the external cluster for the project and so there is no problem with that. I tried TypeDef, StrictTypeDef without success (I know that they have nothing to dowith my problem but I still have to try something?)

Help, please... I even replaced it open / read / functions with those of the palette of LV2012 nearby.

    Rama wrote:

No, you only set a severely cropped picture that is almost useless for debugging. We cannot tell whence the son or what happens in other cases.

A place where mistakes can occur is if you build roads using string operations. You must use "build path" exclusively.

An obvious problem is that you seem to have a path to a folder instead of a path to an existing file. Note that the entrance to the 'folder list' is a record, but you re - use the exact path to even try to open a file. This should have never worked. I guess that your attempts random and ill-advised to fix something of broken things even more.

You still have the original code of 2009? You can attach a simplified version of? Also include your data file.

Most likely, you will have to use another way to build by combining the existing path with "NewVal" string as filename before reading the file. Just guessing, of course.

  • Not able to recover using recovery disk

I have a laptop of HP Envy m6.

I created the recovery DVD 3 disk when I bought the computer.  I got an automatic update fail because of the power failure during a storm.  I got completely saved hard disk but will not start because file missing from the boot drive.

Starting a computer using F9 and Menu of Option selected Boot 'Internal CD/DVD ROM drive' with 1 disc in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

"Windows is loading files...". "with the progress bar is displayed and out"Starting Windows"and the windows logo.

Packard Bell Recovery Management window opens.

Select language option displays and I select English and confirm.

I select "Full Restor system to Factory Defaults"

I select next after reading the reviews

I select next after reading the Destination of the restore

I recognize the "this action will erase all existing data on the Partition label:." and press OK

"Loading files of the image' appears ' and then 'is not enough space on the disk for the requried of temporary files for this operation." pop until appears and the DVD player is ejected. "

When I hit OK "Please wait a moment..." ' appears

Then "press ESC for Boot Menu".

Then the computer fails to load anything and goes back to black screen.

How to start the recovery program using the CD/DVD created for this purpose?

Again, you say you put disc 1 of your media recovery HP in the CD/DVD and booted the computer, this with the result "Then opens the window of Packard Bell Recovery Management" and the other dialog box in your post are generally when you use HP recovery media.

Please confirm you are using the correct recovery media for your HP Envy m6. If the media is incorrect, please locate the media appropriate for your computer. If you create your HP recovery media when you first set up your computer or can't find your HP recovery media, please see DVD - Windows 8 64 b + Supp 1 Recovery Kit or contact the official HP support in your region / country, via the HP portal to support all over the world, to see if the HP recovery support is available for your computer.

  • E3000 Max Throughput for internet and USB NAS

I ran some tests to see what I can do to speed to the interenet and disk NAS.

I have a NIC card (1394) and the max connection I get East of 400 MB/s. The card is supposed to be the card 10/100/1000 and E3000 is the same thing... so why can't connect me to 1000?

Transfer of Max that I get to my NAS is 64-80 Mbit / s is there a way I can get this to be faster? I have a 1 TB western digital disk attached.

If I went with a NAS like Synology BYOD system could get faster transfer speeds if the NETWORK card on the system was a 10/100/1000?

    Thank you

    Scott

Make sure that the Ethernet cable is connected to the router to the computer is a Cat6 cable, then you will get 1000 Mbps data transfer speed.

  • Saved attachments in Windows Mail do not appear in the actual file

In Vista, using Windows Mail, attachments are saved to disk hard aren't really there.  It does not matter what type of file it is.  When you click on an attachment to a paperclip icon and navigate to the folder on the hard disk where you want to save the file, the file seems to save successfully.  But, when you go to this real folder through 'Computer', the file is not really there.  If you go back to the email and save it, it says that the file already exists (although looking at the file in a Windows Explorer window, it is not there).  If you save multiple attachments from Windows Mail to a folder, the record is displayed all files in this folder... but none are really there.  What is the problem here?

My only guess is that some 3rd party program is screw things upwards.  You can check for antimalware, antispam, or antivirus software and see if that might be the problem (seewww.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).  In OE, we suggest set you up a new identity, but it is not so easy in WinMail.  I guess you'll just to workaround it.  To ensure that the economy of attachment is selected under Tools | Options | Security also.

We tried.  This is even if hidden files are marked to show or not.  It does not matter where you save the file in... it will not be displayed in a regular Windows Explorer window, or be seen by other software (for example, whether a file you want to import into a program).

If you double-click the message to open it in its own window and drag the attachment to a Windows Explorer window, it save successfully and can be seen and used as usual.
