x1052p - Console drivers / connect to the term Server

Hey everyone - displays the very long period Dell customer first (always seemed to be able to find answers so far).

I just received a X1052p from Dell switch and it comes with a USB microphone to the USB cable from the Console, I connect it to a Windows 7 laptop and is asked to drivers. You would think that drivers would just in the Download Section, but it is not any mention of drivers. Anyone know where I can find the drivers?

Also, anyone know how I can connect this switch to a Terminal Server? It's the switch of punch that I've ever seen with a USB Port for the Console and of course our term server is RJ45 to adapters series.

I must say that I am using switches Dell for years and this was by far the most painful experience ever with this new graphic interface, the absence of any substantial documentation.

I've personally seen switches to connect to a server console as the TrippLite. Usually the console is not used, and the management of the switch is made through the graphical management interface.

The user guide says that the port can operate in USB mode (connected to a port USB of PC) or RS-232 mode (connected to a serial port of the PC). But I think the TrippLite uses RJ45 ports, correct? A possible solution would be to use a RS232 RJ45 Cable and connect it to a USB to RS232. Of course this is not tested, and I have no way of knowing if this actually works. But if you happen to have these available cables, you can give it a try.

  • Essbase Rapid Deployment - 11.1.2.3 - unable to connect to the administration server

    People,

I downloaded the files required for Essbase and installed with rapid deployment. The installation was successful, and during installation, it is only requested a deployment password.

Now, I'm trying to connect to the server using the Essbase administration console.

    That's how I'm doing:

Start > > Oracle EPM System > > Essbase > > Essbase Administration Service > > start the Administration Console Services

This opens the console, however, when I try to provide the following as the connection information:

The admin server: name my PC

Username: admin (when configuring any username as requested)

    Password: password deployment

I get a "cannot connect to the Administration Server.

Oracle services seem to work very well in "Services.msc".

I also tried to start services using "C:\Oracle\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin\startEPMServer.bat". I get this message:

I am able to connect to Essbase Studio using this user name and password. However not to the Oracle DB.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm a newbie when it comes to installation.

    Kind regards

If it is a rapid deployment and web apps all work on a default port 9000 which means that when you enter the administrator of the server you must enter in the format of servername:9000

  • Unable to connect to the analytical Server 7.2

Hi, I have been using Essbase 7.2.5.2 on windows 2000, which worked very well so far. I had to install CDF in one of my essbase application. To make the necessary changes, I stopped the services & restarted the server.

Now when I try to connect to the analytical server through essbase console it shows an error message "network error: 10061: cannot connect to < analytical servername >."

"If I try to start the command prompt analytical services by running ' essbase.exe in the c:\hyperion\essabse\bin folder, it displays following error" failed in GCInit().

I will be grateful if someone can help me by providing the solution to this problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

If are of course you set it as it was, you may need to restart to ensure that the changes have been applied.

    Hello

You can see "Services of Administration Hyperion" as a service. It can show "start" State. But again, reboot by right-clicking on it and try to access environmental assessments.

I tried to download the latest version of Firefox for the last 5 days on different internet connections. He turns and hangs on "connecting to the update server". The download will not be completed. Can you please help? Thank you.

To install Firefox on a Mac, follow these steps:

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

If the download is interrupted, check the reasons for it: if it's a low slow connection, it would be wise to seek a faster point to connect.
