• I can no longer import clips for my external drives... final cut gives me the ability to import on my hard drive... you just buy a new drive for G and I have the same problem

  I used to be able to import clips on my external drive of G and change events I had saved on the drive, but this problem started after I tried to import video from a camcorder sony I had connected the G drive.  Now when I try to import the clips, it don't give me the possibility to choose one of my records G, I can only import directly on my hard drive.  I can't open the previous events I backed up on my external drives.

  My Iomega external hard drive seems to be missing on my mac. But I see the drive light on when you are connected to the USB port.

  I use an old iMac & an Iomega hard drive that worked without problem. I took travel & when I got home, I connected on the iMac, but I don't see the icon. I find deposit on Finder & also I tried turning / slideshow, external drive on Finder.I see all other connected external drives but not this one. I do not see it listed in the disc utilities. I tried to connect to another Mac & still have the same problem. Can someone tell me what is happening?

  I've never used the Iomega drivers on the mac, but everything worked well. Do I need to download Iomega drivers?

  It seems that the Iomega company is more then what I do and who should I speak?

  I use the last BONES of El capitan.

  So I thought I could just open disk utility, erase the hard drive, then format for Mac.

  But when I click on the delete button, I get the message "failed the erase process.

  Is there a way I can replace the error messages and force to erase an external hard drive?

  Have you tried the tab partition in disk utility? This will erase the disc and give you the ability to format in Mac OS extended (journaled).

  Hi, in case bookmarks trying to open the profile folder, then find the folder called "bookmarkbackups". Use the most recent file to restore bookmarks menu favorites - all bookmarks - import and backup - restore.

So I uninstalled about half of the programs installed (including FF and Thunderbird) and reinstalled them again. And now everything works as expected. It's a kind of magic for me.   I don t think you will be able to connect two external monitors to this laptop using HDMI and RGB port at the same time because of different types of signals.

  The RGB/VGA port supports analog signal.

  The HDMI port provides the digital video output and when the external monitor is connected to the HDMI port the device is set to HDMI.

  I have problems when I try and put my external monitor as the primary device and have the cell phone as the extension to monitor.
