My ex has deleted my profile on my Xbox 360 when we separated upwards, I downloaded my profile on the 360 and my game files are on the HARD disk but when I load to the top of skyrim I can't load save games, I can just start a new game! Really gutted about it as I spent so much time on this game :/ surely if the file is still on my 360 HARD drive then I should be able to load it?

  • Windows Vista Home Premium cannot find Xbox 360 as extender

This may be long but im giving information as possible.

I'm good with the computer. My Vista Home Premium computer cannot find my xbox 360 as an Extender. When I use the WIndows media player 11 and share, he sees my xbox very well. Zune software, same thing. My xbox 360 is here no problem on my network in "My Network Places".

In Media Center, once I typed the 8 digit number it is said that he can not find the Extender. I did the following:

    Reset my router
    Reformat my computer
    Reset my xbox 360
Double checked I got the right 8-digit number in media center
    Disabled windows firewall
Went to the tab exceptions and compatible: WIndows Media Center, Media Center Extender, eshell.exe, discovery network
went to the management of the computer and turned on UPnP device host (changed the startup type to automatic and restarted my computer)
Permit "filter multicast" in my router settings
UPnp enabled in my router settings
Upgrade Vista (with SP1 as well)
Re-installed the drivers for my wireless card
Connected to the Xbox 360 WIRED to my router

Heres the funny thing, I have a Sony laptop vaio with Windows Media Center Edition 2005 on the same network that sees my xbox all the time. Its actually connected through a microsoft extension program (XboxMCE05Lite - enu.exe) basically it works fine.

One funny thing that may help with my vista (Home premium) Windows Remote Assistant machine fails or the other.

Any ideas? If this can help, too, this computer is built on the ground.  Sense, this isn't a HP, Dell, Sony, etc.

    Network equipment:
    Router Linksys WRT54G
Map of Netgear WG311v3 54 Mbps Wireless

works fine with my other laptop. So I guess that the problem must be my wireless card. I guess that's a PCI card it would have nothing to do with the problem. I'm going tomorrow to buy a NIC. USB Im not in a race simply because my internet works very well without getting a new network card. I am just puzzled and would like to get this to work because I hate running through computer problems and in abeyance. I'll get one tomorrow and let you know the guy.

  • How to stop the indexing of media files in Windows Media Center Xbox 360 extender?

I have successfully set up the Xbox 360 Windows Media Center and attaches it to a machine Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on the same LAN segment.  It works fine, except that he rebuilt his index from scratch, apparently file whenever it is launched on the Xbox.  Specifically, if the Xbox is turned off and then turned back on, and WMC on that is launched, the files in the folder of the Windows 7 machine media library are indexed again).  This makes WMC on Xbox almost unusable, because it forces you to wait a long time for the UI to become sensitive, whenever it is launched after turning on the Xbox.

This doesn't seem to be a network problem, as I've reconfigured it all the senses (wired and wireless), network setting tool reports always excellent results, and once the index file is rebuilt files media play very well.

I tried to reduce the number of files in the files of 'library' of the media on the Windows 7 machine and were reduced to a single folder in which the files do not change (that is, the files are added, deleted or changed between Xbox WMC launches).

This behavior is normal?  Is it possible to change it?  I can't find the settings on the Xbox that control it.

The local network segment is on the Internet, and the Windows 7 machine had all updates applied from the time of this post.  The Xbox is the new Xbox 360 4 gig, with more than 2 GB of free space on the internal memory and another 8 GB of free space on MU.

  • Xbox 360 questions (Modern Warefare 2) online

Hello, I request assistance with my Xbox 360 and Windows 7 online game, I would ask on Xbox.com, but they may not appear too willing to help.  Anyway, I recently had the home edition of Windows Vista, and my online game has worked very well.  I then upgraded to Windows 7 and everything went downhill.  After playing MW2 (Modern Warfare 2), I click on finding a match, it works generally the first few times, then after I exit a game, he finds no match.  Sometimes, it works just after that I have first turn on my Xbox!  Sometimes a friend can't join my games, or the Xbox Live party!  I have forwarded ports 53, 80, 88, 3074' on the port protocol.  My NAT type is (open) and I have my size MTU to 1365.  I did everything that I've seen other people say.  It is that I did not did nothing that everyone says to do.  I sent my Xbox IP port, have all the correct information, the function "Test Xbox Live connection" my Xbox Live is "on" no NAT problem.  I have my connection to the Local network and my connection Wireless Bridge.  I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate.  I tried to restart my router and restore to the factory settings.  If there is anything that I did not, please tell me.  I also uPnP 'Active '.

    Thanks in advance

  • What I need to download in order to play games on my PC with my Xbox 360 controller? It says I need a system with XP SP1 or SP2, but I have Windows 7. Any thoughts?

    • I already downloaded the patch for xbox 360 controller.
    • Windows 7 is installed, but the error message that appears indicates that I need XP SP1 or SP2.

    Hi SevOmega,

Welcome to Microsoft 7 answers Forum!

The patch you downloaded can support only Windows XP (SP1 or SP2) which is not compatible to your computer since your computer is installed with Win7.

I suggest that you visit the same Web site where you downloaded the patch and download the patch that is suitable for Win7 and check.

  • Xbox 360 wired controller not recognized not no more usb

My wired Xbox 360 controller used to operate very fine and dandy when I used to connect it to the usb port. It would recognize that the controller was plugged. All of a sudden he stopped to recognize my controller even when I plug in the usb port, the LED flashes once, but it does not even recognize that a controller is plugged. It doesn, t even make his acknowledgement that the controller got plugged. But the usb port recognizes the other thing I plug into it.

  • Xbox 360 and Vista Media center (understand not found)

I've looked everywhere I can think and have not been able to find an answer to this far (including the green button forums)

I click on my wifi then do a right-click on the bridge connection and the press of my xbox. When I then the following message appears "To create a network bridge, you must select at least two LAN or high speed Internet that are not being used by Internet connection sharing." I watched videos on Youtube showing how bridging the connections. I then clicked properties and went under my wifi connection sharing, I activated then 'allow other users of the network to connect through this computer's internet connection.
