• Gamepad Xbox 360 for Windows pc freezing when the vibration is enabled

  Anyone know a fix for this, whenever I have the vibration turned on for any game using the controller Xbox 360 for Windows (by cable), it freezes the game and I can't get my PC to respond again by disconnecting the controller.

  This occurs if the game supports natively the 360 controller or not.

  Dead Space 2
  LIMBO
  Tomb Raider: Legend

  Deactivation of the vibration in one of these games feature solves the problem, but does anyone know a solution where I'd be able to use the vibration?

  The problem you are experiencing may be caused by the power of the amount needed when the vibration is enabled. I had the problem on my old PC, that when I used my controller, my sound would play as the speakers had holes in them and that the game would freeze-freeze-start. The Xbox 360 controllers use 500mA, which is over the limit that provides a USB port. With this audio device, a keyboard and a mouse together via a USB port, which is an aspiration constant quite heavy on the USB supply rail.
  I fixed it by getting a small USB 7 port hub which is outwardly the power (this is important) and plug my controller. This way he can draw the entire, there need without slipping down the USB ports attached to the motherboard. Just be sure it's a hub with an external power supply.

  After I have tool on my computer for cleaning, the receiver of wireless Xbox 360 for window controller is not detected when I tried to plugged into computer.   Hi as the title suggests.  I downloaded the software from microsoft and installed.  Says everything is ok but when I go into game controllers, it only shows an analog stick (which does not work correctly) and the 2 back triggers don't work properly either.  It makes me crazy.  Note Please that is wired and installed on Vista 32 bit (to every time I clicked on Vista/gaming, it brought me to this forum)

• The Xbox 360 wireless controller works with PC, or what I have to buy the Xbox 360 Wireless for windows?

  Straight from this follow-up to the letter...

  1. open Control Panel
  2. open 'display devices and printers '.
  3. right click on 'unknown device '.
  4. click on properties
  5. click on hardware
  6. click on properties
  7. click on change settings
  8. click on the driver
  9. click on set to update driver
  10. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
  11. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
  12 double-click on Microsoft common controllers
  13. click twice on "receiver wireless Xbox 360 for Windows Version: 2.1.0.1349 [2009-08-13].
  (or click on the latest version of the wireless receiver driver)
  14. click on Yes
  14. use the connection on the receiver and controller to connect and enjoy

• Used to synchronize wireless xbox 360 controller for windows

  When I try to sync my controller wireless receiver for windows, the guide button light moving in a circle for a bit and the light on the receiver flashes, then guide button on the controller just flashes while the receiver is solid.  I am running windows XPI tested on two other computers (also XP) and my 360, it syncs very well, and the quadrant 1player lights.

  I installed the software supplied with the controller.
  I tried all the usb ports on my computer.
  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times.
  I have a wireless mouse, and I tried to unplug and turn it off.
  I moved the receiver away from all other objects.

  I am running out of ideas and don't know why it won't work.  Can anyone help?

  Check the drive Media Sharing service is set to automatic. Steps to follow.

  i. click on start and type services.msc in the search box

  II. Research Media player sharing service

  III. check if the following services are started, otherwise start it and set it to auto

  Steps to set the auto services

  i. search for the service

  II. right-click on the service

  III. If the service is stopped and then starts the service

  IV. Select Properties

  v. and in startup type, select automatic

  Method 2:

  i. Click Start, in the search box, type network

  II. Select network and sharing Center

  III. click on change advanced sharing settings

  IV network discovery. marketing

  c. the file running and sharing printer

• Black wired xbox 360 controller for windows flashes and freezes games

  I installed the xbox 360 accessories 1.2, I plugged my black Xbox 360 wired controller for windows on the computer. I let it install its drivers. The ring of light continues to blink all the time, no matter how many times I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and drivers, it continues to Flash, I even looked for updates for the drivers. When I start a game it also works very well unless I have pull triggers or go at my card or try to pick a lock. (the game is skyrim) It freezes whenever I have try them and I unplug the controller and it thaws and if I plug it back in, it does the same thing again.   ·         Is the specific issue with only Need for Speed or does happen with other games as well?

  If the problem is specific only with Need for Speed, you can try to uninstall the game and reinstall the game and check if it works fine without any problems.

  I also suggest that you uninstall Xbox 360 controller drivers and reinstall the drivers that could help you solve the problem.

  Check the settings of the game. You can also connect the controller to the other computer and use it and check if the problem still persists.
