XLS to html

The report xml with the expand.xls format has the feature we're looking for. It allows the development and reduction of the results and have not only expanded the default cases.

We want to check the results of the tests in a standalone, not as a XML report HTML format that requires a .xls file. I noticed that teststand generates a temporary html file to the XML file. This file is deleted when the report is closed in teststand.

Is it possible to have the HTML file generated from the XML / XLS to persist and be registered under the score report? I think I can be lack just a report somewhere option.

I assume you mean actually XSL not XLS (it's a worksheet ). This temporary report is generated by the sequence editor, not the TestStand engine. If you're always going to run through this specific IO, you could add a step in your process template to copy it somewhere else. Otherwise, you need to add your own code to perform the conversion yourself; I think that the sequence editor uses the MSXML package, which shouldn't be too much thought to the interface with.

    Hello

    You can set the condition to column that show you as downloading
    PL/SQL expression

    NVL(:REQUEST,'EMPTY) IN ('CSV','XLS','PDF','HTML');

    And the column, you love to see page

    NVL(:REQUEST,'EMPTY) NOT IN ('CSV','XLS','PDF','HTML');

    First save the default layout for your report, where two columns are displayed.
    Then set conditions.
    You should probably disable function where the end user can select columns that are displayed.

  • Adding a .xls on a sensitive site database

    Hello

    I'm after some advice.

    A customer wants a simple quiz within a sensitive site. The HTML and CSS code for the design itself is not question. What I want to know is, how would I go about the integration of the database? Specifically, what kind of coding would be involved - Javascript? PHP?

    I just need insight in to how the database would be integrated so that I can source the appropriate developer.

    Thank you very much

    . XLS is an Excel worksheet.  Technically, it is not a database.  You will need to convert it to a correct database file. CSV - Delimited by commas, SQL, JSON, XML, etc. According to the language of programming (client-side or server-side) you intend to use with it.

    Hello

    Is it the fact that the download excel window rises, then disappears in a second? If so, it is a common accurence. Please do the following in your Internet Explorer...

    "Tools > Options Internet Explorer-> Security-> Internet-> Custom level-> Downloads-> prompting for file downloads" is enabled or not? -> Should be enabled.

    Close all browsers and restart a new IE session and check if you can download it.

    It is the technique I use.

    1. create 2 identical columns, one with HTML code and the other without.

    2. can conditionally display columns, one to display in the web page and the other to display in the download. This can be easily done by using the value of demand, for example

    Condition type: request is NOT contained in the Expression 1

    Expression1: CSV, PDF, RTF, XLS

    I hope that does the trick for you :)

    Like they said, I can't find any mimemappings.properties.

    more information:
    "An alternative is to create a file mimemappings.properties the entire domain to define a type for the '.myext' extension. Start the WebLogic administration console and go to the domain--> for Web Applications. Set a value for the "Mime mapping file' if the field is empty. Next, create the file. Should be the format of the contents of the file: = mime-type extension

    Example:
    myext = text/plain
    WBMP =

    The first entry above defines a new file extension 'myext' and sets the type of 'text/plain '. The second entry above means a 'wbmp' file extension that already exists in the default values. Setting the value vacuum removes the mapping.

    Another solution is to configure the MIME type in the web.xml file. Update the Web application's web.xml file, by adding a element to map the new extension to a suitable MIME type.

    I had a similar problem with my environment, Forms 11 g with Weblogic. Files with the extension ".rtf" displayed as text gross when I used the port 8888 (SST). Using the port 9001 (WLS_FORMS), it worked. I have four servers managed in the group, so I have to use port 8888.

    After a few days and many tests, changing configurations and restart services, I found the file "mimemappings.properties" of Weblogic. In fact, in my environment, I had to create the file with the line 'rtf = application/rtf' and restart the Weblogic Server. It worked for me.

    Using the Console of Administration Weblogic, in Configurations of domain / Web Applications, see the parameter "Mime mapping file. The file must exist in the folder "$DOMAIN_HOME/config.
