XML to the URL of the image element

Hi all

I used this to get the dynamic URL resolution for the logo on my report.
A simple url: {'http://localhost/logo.jpg'} works great for HTML output.

But once I use the XML element for the resolution of URLS, it does nothing...

URL: {concat('http://',FILE_PATH)} retourne juste «http://» sans valeur d'élément chemin_fichier.)

Needles to say, the element file_path on the report itself does the work and shows the path of the image.

What I am doing wrong?

Thank you.

Take a look at this.

  • Forms 11 GR 2 - paste from the Clipboard into the image element

    Hi, how can I paste a picture from the Clipboard to an element of the Image on the form?
    If it cannot be done via the features of standard forms, is there no work around - I want to say can Java Bean do it, or maybe to do drag and drop via area of beans?
    I know it's a strange feature, but no suspicion is much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance. Jack

    Hello

    I think that it is not possible. The only ways to fill a part of the Image is to use the Read_Image_File() or to query the database.
    You can use a Java Bean that allows to drag and drop an image file.

  • resize the image in the Image element

    Hello

    I have an element of the Image corresponding to a blob column in my data base. I store image files there, then I retrieve and display images in this point of the Image. the question is how can I resize the Image with respect to the dimensions of the part of the Image? Here is an example [http://img25.imageshack.us/i/photoadx.jpg/]. This image is larger that it is displayed, so I need to see the entire image in this point of the Image.
    How can I resize it?

    Thank you!

    There is a Style property "calibration" for the image, set this "Adjust".

  • Set the scale of all the images in a table

    Hi all

    I have a chart 2D photos (say 4 x 4). I want to scale/zoom (all together) by a factor. So I use the zoomfactor property node wired to a digital slider, for any element 1 photo. During execution, only the image element for which I extracted the property node can be seen dynamically scaling, the rest stay where they are.

    Only if I hover over them, or use the increment/decrement button, then the rest of them move to the value on the scale suddenly. Is that how it is supposed to happen? I guess that there must be a way out. I would like to see all visible on the façade to the scale of the whole.

    I don't understand the VI because they have the pictures stored on the path to my computer to load whenever it works.

    Hoping to get a solution by advanced users.

    Thank you.

  • that means xml, when I try to set up an analysis of the image years ago, I get the message that there are on this scan xml elements and if I save it, elments of xml will be cleared. What is

    When I bring up some old pictures on my computer, it comes like a scan, when I opened the scan he says he has xml elements, which, if I save it, the xml elements will be deleted, what are xml elements

    The normal definition of xml is the Extensible Markup Language and is the most used in the web development. There is no logical reason why scans contain xml in their breast.

    All files have an extension that is used by Windows to identify what program to use to open the file. Word uses .doc or .docx format, Excel .xls or .xlsx, Adobe uses .pdf etc.

    Right-click on one of the files and select Properties, in the general tab, it displays the type of file and its extension.

    You are referring to 'initials pvt' but pvt isn't a common file extension and is used by a couple of applications, but have nothing to do with analysis or graphics.

    Up to what you did what in fact do a copy files (copy the directory as a whole) and let the originals intact.

    Although Word works with graphics files which is not normally the native program to use, can you explain the steps that you use to open the files.

    Someone knows what's the problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Thank you.

    Okay... where to start? Almost everything is bad or at least very awkward

    (1) do not use the physical path with UTL_FILE, that has been obsolete for many years now. Use directory objects.

    And in fact, you don't even have UTL_FILE here.

    (2) the XML schema must be saved at once, in a separate script.

    Or do you expect to change them as often you must include the part of the record of the proceedings?

    (3) If your input XML document has an attribute xsi: schemaLocation, make sure that you save the schema using the same URL.

    In your example, there is a mismatch: 'my_schema_file.xsd' vs 'xml_schema.xsd' in the register command.

    So, to summarize:

    Create a directory:

    create or replace directory xml_dir as ' / home/myPath ";

    Save the schema (once):

    () dbms_xmlschema.registerschema

    schemaurl-online "my_schema_file.xsd."

    schemadoc-online xmltype)

    BFILENAME ('XML_DIR', '')

    , nls_charset_id ('AL32UTF8') - use the actual encoding of the file here

    )

    local-online true

    genTypes-online fake

    gentables-online fake

    enableHierarchy-online dbms_xmlschema.enable_hierarchy_none

    );

    So here's how I would rewrite the function:

    create or replace function schema_xml_333 (p_tested_xml in varchar2)

    return varchar2

    is

    doc xmltype: = xmltype (bfilename ('XML_DIR', p_tested_xml), nls_charset_id ('AL32UTF8'));

    Start

    return case when doc.isSchemaValid () = 1

    then "XML is valid.

    otherwise "XML is not valid.

    end;

    end;

    /

    Yet once, this will not work if the XML contains an attribute xsi: schemaLocation whose part URL pattern matches the URL used for recording.

    In this case, you don't need the createSchemaBasedXML method.

  • Connecting the Image with the XML schema field

    I have a requirement that I'm working on which would require me to generate dynamic PDFS so that the text as well as images in the PDF must depend on the input XML I get. So in this respect, my question is how can I link an image with an element field in the example of XML data or with an element in the schema. Because of this feature supported by the tool. Generated PDF can have dynamic images in them.

    Any help in this direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Alex,

    There will be no default URL that allows you to view the downloaded images. You will need to do something yourself to make the image visible via a URL; some suggestions would be:

    (1) on the Web/Application Server, create a virtual directory to d:/uploads/logo map
    (2) write your own servlet that can (according to certain parameters you offers in the URL) read the file from the image of the directory and the return flow to the browser

    I'm a little confused, but if you transform XML via XSLT, then
    You must create the link of the image via the XSLT file:

    Assuming that you store in an XML file name of the image node
    "imageFileName":

  • When I click on "Copy picture", when I use the dough, it's to show the image URL

    Hello

    I'm having a problem about the exemplary Image resource. I need to copy and paste a lot of images to work.

    I click on an image, holding control and then press "copy picture". But when I paste, it shows the URL of the image and not the image. I tried on different browsers and apps, but the same error occurs.

    Can someone help me please? How should I do? It has changed from one day to the other.

    Thank you

    It looks like you use context Menus to copy your images. Depending on your machine or software, each user will have different contextual shortcuts.

    You might do better to use an application like SnapnDrag, which is free in its basic mode.

  • When I click on the + to open a new window I don't like the images that arise. I tried to change that in all: config; Browser.newtab.URL, but it will not

    When I click on the + to open a new window I don't like the images that arise. I tried several times to change that through words: config; Browser.newtab.URL. I put in the site I want and it won't change. I tried to put in: blank and it don't work. I'm obviously something wrong - can you help please?

    Thank you

    If Firefox is ignorant preference browser.newtab.url, the usual culprit is an extension.

    You can open the page in Firefox Add-ons using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
    • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
      firefox.exe "about:addons"

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Do not forget that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox, and you can learn more about them by checking their reviews on the site of the Add - ons.

    Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    Any improvement?

    I am trying to copy a set of images that have urls such as the following:

    http://www.Halldis.com/resources/apt_resource_1564_1272014118921.1

    These images will display well on Chrome, but not Firefox, where I get a lot of funny characters.

    The site is a third party site, and while they let us copy the pictures, I can't ask them to fix the problem.

    The server sends the file as a text/plain because it has an extension of fichier.1 and not a recognized as .jpg file extension

    It is always better to avoid problems like that and rename the file by adding .jpg

    You can paste it into the address bar to see the image in this case

    data:text/html,<img src="http://www.halldis.com/resources/apt_resource_1564_1272014118921.1">
