Xoom built in censorship?

As a joke, I used Google Voice to send a SMS to a friend and included a well known Word for a plant that is used as a "controlled substance". Whenever I typed on the Xoom, it was immediately replaced by a completely different word. I typed three times just to make sure that I did not mistype.

Then, to verify the source of the change, I went back to my office and used Google Voice from there.

My message has been accepted and sent without any change!

  • Xoom does support ActiveSync and ESP?

I'm assuming that the Xoom will support ActiveSync for manual users said that it syncs with Exchange 2007, however, anyoen knows if she supports the ESP? It is a requirement of my corporate security policy.

    I wouldn't think that immediately.

the last phone motorcycle all use motoblur to crochet for exchange active sync. MOTOBLUR has additional security features that Vanilla android 2.x does NOT.

So unless google has put several security 3.x vanilla EAS features it may or may not work-function server settings (for example what security policies the organization applies).

Some exchange servers are large open and will pretty much do anything to connect. Others are more like fort knox and require the device to be able to do all sorts of things.

Touchdown are available in the market - and I guess that it works on the xoom. It is a REPLACEMENT for the EAS built in support which has some of the additional security features THAT may require an exchange server.

I tried Control Panel > hardware and audio > Bluetooth setting > display icon on the notification area > apply (or OK) but the icon does not appear
    Tried several reboots, no luck
Also, when I click on the devices, it does not show the Xoom tablet which has Bluetooth and can be discovered, nor Microsoft 5000 mouse with led flashing.

  • Overloading the XOOM on a dock?

I would buy the XOOM speaker dock and play music from my XOOM daily... I am worried about him connecting (and charging) too much and I could SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the battery life supported my XOOM too.

Is this something I should be concerned?

No, batteries used today have built a circuit that tells it to not overload. What will happen is it will fully charge and then allow him to fulfil a few percent, then charge current upward. Life cycles of lithium batteries are usually around hundreds of cycles that is applied to 100% of the cycle. So if you were to drain 50% twice and charges to 100% both times, that would be equal to the 1 charge cycle. With which, in theory, the burden of compensation would continue for 6 000 to 10 000 times.

  • Logic pro built in instruments

Hello, I'm an indie game developer and I'm looking for a music software with a small budget and space since it's my first game I intend to publish I don't really have the opportunity to have a defined heck appropriate music that I did not even a microphone

so I was wondering if I can use logic pro x without instruments, if it has a built in instruments such as garage band, otherwise it is very good...

Logical X has a wide range of integrated instruments, better than Garageband.

There is also a wide range of instruments and effects plug-ins free-buy music electronic magazine, many come with a wide range of free downloads, samples and real plug-ins (e.g. Computer Music magazine). They are usually VST, but many are THE (compatible logic) too.

  • Apple Watch can play music through its built-in speaker?

I do a decent amount of race and the latter I ran with my phone and just play music on the built-in speaker. It's nice to not have to helmet bouncing around and it feels safer because you can hear the traffic and so on.

When first announced, I was under the impression, given that a built-in speakerphone, you'd be able to play the music stored on the watch through said pregnant. I haven't seen all the posts about this and now think that it is false.

    So that you can?

Obviously, the quality and the volume would be questionable, but still, I feel that it would be nice to have the option. Thank you!

    Hello

It is not possible to play music from the playlist synchronized via the loudspeaker on Apple Watch.

On the contrary, your watch can be coupled with a Bluetooth headset to listen to music when you run.

  • I want to use Siri on my Mac Pro 2013, but there is no built-in microphone.

Great so Siri is now activated on your desktop with Sierra. How can I add an Apple flagship computer microphone, the 2013 Pro Mac in a cost-effective manner? It's not even a microphone jack! Help, please!

Is your Mac has a headphone jack? Then try an Apple headset with a built-in microphone.

I'm seeing this in the specification tecniques for Mac Pro: http://www.apple.com/mac-pro/specs/

Audio combined optical digital output/analog line in mini-jack

headphone 3.5 mm with headset stand

The Headphone Jack would connect Apple headphones.

Or use any bargain price USB microphone for speech input.

  • Built-in SIM card problem

Anyone heading the question where they took contact with care of apple and the representative on the other end does not have the product you are calling for?

I recently had to replace my iPad 9.7 Pro at a local Apple store warranty. There was a glimmer of hope in the quadrant display cooer right. It was not extreme, but once I have the sewing, my eyes always went straight to the it later. Given that the unit was only a few months, that I wasn't old too satisfied to "just deal with it" then I won him in and ultimately they replaced. There is one thing that I like Apple, they really take care of their customers. Then I proceeded to drive home and get on the phone with AT & T to activate it, because the iPad was originally purchased at home and put on my plan.

After getting nowhere with AT & T customer service they transferred me to Apple Care because I didn't have an ICCID under settings/general/to words. After connecting the Apple Care representative I explained the problem. To my surprise, he had no idea on the SIM Apple integrated and kept asking me where was my old SIM and I need one to get cellular service. Now, I knew that this was not correct and I've tried very carefully explain that there is no SIM external it was enabled on the embedded SIM card, however, they guy fought me on it and sounded quite confused throughout the call. I also tried to activate it under the iPad option settings/cell/Add cell phone carrier/transfer again. This option does not work for me, because it has to do with a different plan type (I have or the representative didn't know) he says also my user name and password are incorrect, but it wasn't. I logged in full on the site without problem. As a result of this he told me to change my password for AT & T and that has not worked, it wouldn't have worked anyway, but now I know, it's just so that you can see the traces of events here. I was then left on hold for 15 minutes be say I have to call my service provider.

Just for the forum of reference for the iPad all Pro (to the United States at least) are made with a built-in SIM card, but also have a nano SIM tray for travel abroad. For those who don't know no way "embarked", it is built in the electronic device and is not removable. Why do that and do all sorts of confusion? It is designed to allow a smaller unit and is supposed to give more options for the selection of a carrier.

To resolve this problem, I took my replaced iPad 9.7 Pro at my local AT & T store the next day (today) to configure the built-in SIM card. They had me past in less than 5 minutes. Namely, if someone runs into his question, you need to tell the person you talking if theres no ICCID then its either one wifi device or if you are using a device with a built-in SIM card. They will have the provision to the CSN, which is a very long alphanumeric number located in settings/general/to comments made by verses the low only with the IMEI (obviously).

I'm just surprised that the 'experts' Apple Care had no idea what the hell I was talking about. I am an engineer 'EM and work on industrial equipment. Also, I have a technical support for hardware, software, networks and applications, so I have a bit of history and know how to get my message. I too am a former user of Windows and Android who migrated to apple for its ease of use, robustness and quality, and outstanding customer service. I now own the iPad Pro, mini iPad 9.7 4, Apple TV (3rd generation) and Mac Mini (late 2014). All of which are excellent products that I use every day and that he loves her. I also participates actively in the public beta program Apple with iOS 10 and Sierra of MacOS. Apple, if you listen... Take note that when a supervisor does not know the iPad Pro is manufactured with a built-in SIM, theres a problem.

    What do you think?

  • Why firefox built-in PDF Viewer makes windows 10 crashes

I have a computer with Windows 10. For about two to three months from now, from time to time, my computer/windows crashes when I open or save a PDF in Firefox, which is extremely upsetting.
I just found out a few days ago that Firefox no longer uses the adobe reader plugin, but uses rather its own PDF Viewer built-in. When I changed the setting to use the external adobe reader software to open / download the pdf files, it seems that my computer no longer crashes.
So my questions are: why the bult - in the PDF Viewer gives windows crash 10? Will be corrected this problem and when? and finally, why Firefox forces to use its own built-in PDF Viewer when it cannot work properly with windows 10?
This was the most overwhelming problem that I had with my computer for a long time!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

Hi all. At work, I have a Mac Pro 2010 tour which has two built in disks, running 10.10.5. Recently, the computer is not recognizing its own built in disks. The keyboard eject button will not open any of them, nor will be the eject option in the menu bar - he thinks that there are no drives connected. It is a work computer, and we'd love to have this feature back. Thanks in advance!

  • Unable to set the paper size at all when using Firefox built-in PDF Viewer

I use the built-in Firefox pdf viewer and it's fab.

But if I try to print, I go to the preview before print and go through the layout and it is useless, because it assumes that my book is almost SQUARE, and the only options I have are portrait and landscape. I use A4 paper, like most of the British and European.

Of course, I can't work around the preview before printing or that it ends up in the wrong settings by default.

Adjust (default), it is only based on the width (if I set the margins to zero - it's okay), but lacks the lower half of the page because Firefox think my paper is the PLACE for a reason any.

The only thing that works is to set the zoom to print at 60% and have tiny everthing, which is ridiculous.

Any ideas? Is it possible to manually set the width and height of the paper?

Thanks if anyone can help with this - my alternative is to use the Toshiba reader of PDF files, and it prints terribly to be unreadable. The print quality on Firefox is fine, if I could get to fit on paper...

Hmm, in your screenshots, why mention the title bar of the window Yahoo mail? Is it an attachment that is somehow embedded in the message? If so, can you find a way to see it in its own tab? Sometimes with the right button > setting > Open Frame in a new tab will do, but I did not open Yahoo Mail to experiment.

  • Built-in apps stopped working with 10.11.6 updating

I have a 2012 end MacBook Pro (16 GB of RAM, 180 GB of available disk space).  After the update, all normal applications built-in OSX (TextEdit, QuickTime Player, preview, even the Mac App Store) have stopped working.  They will bounce once the launch, and then stop and display a dialog box indicating "(nom de l'application) quit unexpectedly and sometimes display the dialog detailed which has the inside report." "  iTunes and Safari still work.

I did some research on Google before posting here to see if there is a known issue and if there is a difficulty for him there (Pref. dumping, or something like).  Found nothing, so hoping great minds here can help.  Can I just rebuild the desktop and everything will be fine

Would appreciate any recommendations; You never know how much you rely on the apps integrated into your daily workflow, until you cannot use an any of them.

    Best,

    Mike

Try each of them in order. A test to see if the computer works properly:

    1. Reset the PRAM
    2. Reset the controller (SMC) system management
    3. Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It's slower than a standard home.
    4. Repair the disk by booting to the HD recovery immediately after that the chime press the command and R keys until the Utility Menu appears. Choose disk utility and click on the continue button. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry of the list to one side.  Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait the fact button appear. Disk utility and return in the Utility Menu. Restart the computer from the Apple Menu.
    5. Download and install the update of OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 Combo.
    6. Reinstall OS X by booting from the Recovery HD using the command and R keys. When the Utility Menu appears, select reinstall OS X and then click on the continue button.
