Logic pro built in instruments

Hello, I'm an indie game developer and I'm looking for a music software with a small budget and space since it's my first game I intend to publish I don't really have the opportunity to have a defined heck appropriate music that I did not even a microphone

so I was wondering if I can use logic pro x without instruments, if it has a built in instruments such as garage band, otherwise it is very good...

Logical X has a wide range of integrated instruments, better than Garageband.

There is also a wide range of instruments and effects plug-ins free-buy music electronic magazine, many come with a wide range of free downloads, samples and real plug-ins (e.g. Computer Music magazine). They are usually VST, but many are THE (compatible logic) too.

  • Logic Pro vs Sierra-accidents

I say to that I've only been live with Sierra for a few days so that the latter can get repaired soon (I hope), BUT now I get a whole bunch of accidents. After the initial load. Most of them seem to occur when the logic is trying to load some programs IE. Native Instruments and music of Air technology-Xpand.

After a couple of accidents because she looking a few guitars of its wide who were not there, I found that there was an orphan prefs file, so once that was taken out of the picture, it worked but I always these accidents because of the OR & Air which I have not yet been resolved.

Anyone having problems out there like that all advice?

  • Logic Pro: MIDI channels

    Hello

I just bought the M - Audio Code49 and I would like to split the keyboard although tempered into 4 areas.

I so do not apply on the well-tempered clavier, in area 1 note C1 - B1 channel en 1, canal zone en notes C2 B2 2, etc..

I then selected the 4 buttons of zones on the well-tempered clavier, in a way that 1 2 3 4 buttons are turned on.

The settings are so well-tempered clavier do on the pay be split areas en 4.

Bathroom, on my MacBook Pro (retina, OS X El Capitan), in Logic Pro 10.2.4, I created 4 tracks of instruments.

I've assigned each (in Inspector > track > MIDI channel) UN number correspond to the MIDI channels 1, 2, 3, 4.

MIDI channel 1 pour the first instrument, instrument to MIDI channel 2 for the second, etc.

I thought so have a different instrument by octave on my keyboard, but the Microsoft is not case...

That do I do? I forgot what manipulation?

    Thank you!

try turning automatic Demix on I have preferences and down - you that all tracks are enabled for recording.

  • Freezing / sluggish: Logic Pro 9. Mac Pro; Yosemite

As the title suggests, I am experiencing sluggish controls and performance in reading with Logic Pro.  My specs are:

Mac Pro (round) mid-2010; 2.8 GHz Quad Core (Intel); 12 GB OF RAM

    10.10.5 Yosemite

    Logic Pro 9.1.8

Everything is apparently fine with the performance, however, I randomly and almost inevitably experience the app 'snap '.

Never quite completely, it freezes, will get rather unresponsive in functions such as when I'm in the reading, he will just continue to play while any activated button will be delayed for a few seconds until the number of seconds before he answers.  This does not happen with the launch at the beginning of a session and a cool app, but wire time, it will be unless I have close / restart the application.

I recently created a new installation of Yosemite on his own internal drive - using a stock of Apple HD (Western Digital, Black Label, 1 TB, 7200 RPM)

The only thing installed on the OS drive is Logic Pro and a few plug-ins.  I watch performance monitors, nothing appears close to overload (this is both logic and Universal Audio monitors CPU usage).  My sessions are not complicated: consist on average of about 4-5 stereo Audio tracks / track Instrument 1-2 / 2-4 Bus titles.  Plug-ins averaged around 2-4 per track.

I use a writing another drive internal (2 TB) and save the files of session while recording / mixing.  My plan was to spend the end sessions at the coast by car after completing their but I suspect that it is the source of performance problems.

My question is, I'm pretty committed to get an upgrade of RAM max (32 GB for my system).  I hope that this will add enough buffer space to avoid blockages in the performance.

    • It is, 12 GB sound like a stretch to try to run the logic without any problems?

    • Would a 32 GB upgrade be important?

    • Logic Pro (9) have known problems with hang up and becomes unresponsive / slow over a period of time with a running period session continues?

    • Any other use?

    • Is it I better off working on and recording of current session to the local operating system drive rather than another drive?

In fact... I think you will find that much of this is related to graphics performance. Are you running one of the EQS of channel mode Analyzer, medium or hi res? This will certainly lead to delays, even if they are not displayed. Logic 9 graphics routines is quite old and showing their age with newer operating systems. Using a dual monitor system (display)?

  • M - Audio Keystation 49th, not its entry into Logic Pro 10.2.1

Don't know what I do wrong here. I've lived all my Logic Pro X settings and I don't understand why there is no sound coming out of my M - Audio Keystation 49th in Logic Pro 10.2.1.

Can someone tell me what setting could be the cause of the issue?

    (1) the keystation makes no noise... there just send data Midi...

    (2) download the free lunch monitor...

    https://www.Snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/

Install and then press the keys on your 49th and see if it's midi notes transmittiing to your Mac...

If it is not then the 49th doesn't correctly... and has nothing to do with logic... See the manual that came with the 59 E for assistance or call M-Audio for help...

If it is... so that the midi data will be received by the logic so it must be how you have set things upwards in the logic itself... (As you have not selected the right inputs and outputs audio to hear sound from a software Instrument...)

  • Logic Pro

    Hi all

I always use FL studio. I think the conversion of Logic Pro. I need your help with a couple of points listed below:

1 - What is the best version to buy.

2 - What about the plugins, synths and packs. In FL studio, I had the habit of checking the best synths, plugins, and modules and I used to buy the individually. I do the same thing with the logic. Or y at - it a complete package that provides me with the software and all the necessary modules, I need. If so, what is the price for it.

    Appreciate your support.

Best buy - the current version (which I think is the only one you can buy).

Logic comes with a plethora of instruments, combinations of synth, effects, plugins, etc and they are all included free of charge with logic. You can also use plugins more 3rd party too...

  • Using Logic Pro with a USB IO

I started using Logic Pro X (instead of Garage Band) to record "drum covers of popular songs. I recently purchase a Roland Studio Capture IO USB. I use a mic (10) of the device I/O and USB connection to a MacBook under Logic Pro X. I am overwhelmed but excited the possibilities. Here's the question. Is there an advantage to use (10) separate audio track in Logic Pro X for my drum microphones. It is even possible. I sometime use the tracks of instruments for virtual instruments for a more personal expression, but for now the only home to the PRI and a pre-recorded song track. Any response would be appreciated.

During the recording of the drums, I use normally 8 microphones on individual instruments and two condensers further back in the room.  Yes, it's a good idea to save them in separate tracks, so that you can EQ and compress as needed.  I send also usually the lot of them in a single track of drums and on another channel of compressed battery, where I really compress them and mix them in 25%.  I found that this approach provides the most flexibility.  YMMV and someone better can give you other advice - I'm an amateur.

Is more than Garageband? If yes then how much more?

    Hello

If you buy LPX now, and Apple should release LP11, you will probably have to buy it again (like us all).

  • Is compatible with Mac OS 10.12 (Sierra) with Logic Pro 10.2.4 and the iMac (21.5 inch mid 2011)

Is compatible with Mac OS 10.12 (Sierra) with Logic Pro 10.2.4 and the iMac (21.5 inch mid 2011)?  I contemplate moving to Sierra, but not if it comes into conflict with Logic Pro.  Can someone advise?

    Thank you!

    Matt

It was reported a number of not being able to save or to new projects with the title of the Sierra.

I would conclude some time if I were you, especially if everything is working well at the moment.

  • Logic Pro 9 unexpected leave after updating Mac OS Sierra

Here's a new update of Mac OS installed and new problems with Logic Pro (9). While working, I can't open any save / open / export popup - no matter what, this finder calls - logical popup just closes in a second. Never have met this funny on thank you Mac os, so I think that it is somehow connected with the new Mac operating system.

See plug-ins or something unrelated. Have no idea what it could be. But now, it is impossible to work.

Many people having exactly the same problem with no fix yet. As Logic 9 is old now (Apple it have not supported for years), it'll be lucky if it is fixed in an additional OS updated.

The safest to do thing is to go back to your old system of your backup job.

  • I don't hear Roland 501 Piano during playback when recorded in Logic Pro.

When I record my 501 Piano from Roland in Logic Pro, I do not have the piano through my speakers to read.

    Create an external midi track

in the way - (port) Inspector to ensure that Roland is selected and all midi channel.

When you reproduce the track it is routed to the 501.

If you don't hear it - make sure that Roland is configured to accept midi in reading

  • Apple Loops of old Logic Pro Logic Studio

    Hello

my iMac still run osx 10.7.5 (Mountain Lion).

I intend to upgrade to the Mavericks, and my question is: move to Logic Studio is any chance to keep all my old loops in Logic Pro and use them with the new version?

(I have a number of pieces using specific loops and Yes, I know that I can save the loops in the songs but I would not lose my whole library)

    I really hope so.

    Thanks in advance,

    Franz

I'm sorry, I don't talk about logic X, here, not of Logic Studio.

    My mistake.

  • Can I connect a macbook pro iMac for Logic Pro mirrored

My main computer is an iMac, running Logic Pro with an external drive for samples and projects in my home "studio". I would like to be able to work on these projects away from the 'studio', in addition to comfort, on my MBP. And then, when the time comes to take my equipment to, say, a recording studio, I could then just take the MBP and external drives, for convenience. What would be the best way to do this?

If everything is on your external drive, then just eject this drive, unplug it, plug it into your MPB, turn it on, work.

  • Logic pro exporting is not midi

I recently changed my Logic Pro X and can't find a way to export midi. The resulting files are empty.

I read the docs and see that this is the same process as Logic Pro 9: select midi regions > export > selection as a MIDI file

    Someone at - it ideas?

To keep track, it only applies to some Logic files - other travel very well.
