  I write a simple client/server application. I'm a little stuck on the same response from the server. Instead of sending and receiving plain text, I chose to wrap messages in the command objects (containing a statement and a list of values). He worked for a while, until I realized that I continue to create new objects for each request and response to and from the server. I thought that it's a waste, so I created a reset method (commands command) to update the same object instance instead of creating new command objects.   Try to play with ObjectOutputStream.reset (). My understanding is that the same object to write to the stream of data twice causes some kind of optimisation whereby the second time that only a reference to the first serialized object is written. Reset() can cause the object to rewrite it completely in its new State.

  PS: Creating objects is cheap these days. Don't feel that you were running a premature optimization? I'm not saying you do, just be wary of him! You can already see a negative effect of it: more fragile code and more complicate.

  Since there is no use of access control in the dmconfig above I guess that it's a mismatch in the config.XML to accesspoint/accesspointid.

  No doubt when they changed their VSOS SOA they changed their AccessPointId Local de OSB6_MS1, OSB6Ms2 to have more than one meaning SOA

  (for example, SOA_MS1 or SOA_MS2). Just check that there is a consistent naming between WTC LDOMs/RDOMs with Tuxedo RDOMs/LDOMs.

  MTYPE is a variable to improve performance for encoding/decoding (host-network, network-host). Since your domain Local is not defined

  It is not used. Ok.  It should not be used when a local Tuxedo domain communicates with a remote domain of WTC. Encoding/decoding must be enabled.

  I don't think that the format of replies to the messages in the local folders are linked with focus groups or to individual account settings. As local folders can contain messages between several accounts or identities, it is more likely that formatting uses the setting of the account or identity appearing in the: field when you reply.

  This is how I think it should work. How this works in practice may be different.

  I have several local folders with thousands of messages. Normally I store them on a network mapped to my setup from local folder in Thunderbird driver is similar to Z:\emails.
  I needed to move the folders the to my computer and what I did was copy the whole "e-mail" from my network location and reconfigured Thunderbird folder local config to C:\emails - basically the same as before, but on a local disk. Thunderbird restarted as requested by the application.
  (I should mention that I did this exact procedure before (but not recently) and it worked very well.)
  In any case, when I did I saw all my files them however when I tried to access a Thunderbird folder run "rebuild index...". "automatically ends in that all the messages in my local folder are marked as"unread"and they have no header - no subject, sender or people in cc, no attachments. If I try to see one of the emails I can see the content of the email (the writing part anyway) and instead of the normal header, I see the technical information from header that looks like:

  Running 31.0 Thunderbird on W7 Pro x 64. As I already mentioned that I did the above procedure several times before, but not recently and since then I updated Thinderbird at least a couple of times so I guess that the problem is caused by something in the newer versions.

  I found the problem today and it has nothing to do with the Mozilla software. It was a network problem, apparently the network location I put my local folder was not listing all the files by FTP wdselm so when I copied my archive locally I was missing like 30 000 + wdselm files.
  When I realized that I copied all the files via samba and now I can see everything.
