Unable to connect to the home network after you connect to the internet at Duke University
Noteboook W7 Pro cannot reconnect to the network after you connect to the internet as a comments/visitor at Duke University. The Duke system is predatory changes to my computer, and I can't fix it with the restoration of the system. The home network is a Windows workgroup with most XP, no password only required machines. This has happened in the past when the guest was an XP machine too, and then he had something to do with the DNS settings. Cost me a lot of time and anguish and loss of productivity.
Hello
1. do you get an error message? If Yes, what is the exact full error message?
2. are you able to connect to the internet?
See the help article and check if it helps.
Method 1
Identify and resolve home network problems
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/identify-and-resolve-home-network-problems
Networking of computers running different versions of Windows
Method 2: Check if the problem persists in the boot.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

the WAN connection becomes too slow after you have configured the VPN (Site Site)
Hello
I have two branches connected via WAN (MPLS) connection using two 2921 routers.the connection is 2 M.
I set up a VPN between these two sites, but after the connection has become very slow.
y at - it something I can do to speed up the speed of connection.
VPN proposals are:
Proposals of the phase 1: 3DES, pre-shared,.
Phase 2 proposals: esp-3des esp-sha-hmac
I don't think that lower levels of security proposals will add a lot to the speed...
Hi Marc,
one thing you should definitely is a hardware encryption go if you do not already tht, it also reduces the load on your cpu
You can try other things is play with mtu, according to your line mtu and what applications are mainly used. try setting the mtu of at least 60 odd bytes lower than the mtu and also sometimes server line recommended mtu settings like server many have obligation to mtu to 1300 or 1400, if that's not it can cause a lot of re transmissions, you can also try fragmentation before encryption

VDI Session disconnects when you connect to the VPN
I'm trying to find out why a VDI session log when you try to open a VPN session inside the virtual machine. My organization requires us to use two-factor authentication to access certain resources on the network (including the console in vCenter feature). The solution that we use is the Juniper Net Connect. Right when the VPN starts to open the session is disconnected and the only way to get screw is to restart the virtual machine. Thoughts?
Yes, its quite simple, the VPN client closes all traffic that is not via the vpn.
You must configure address. "split tunneling" on your VPN client.

Have used this site for years. It has recently been updated
To see if an extension could be linked to this problem, you can try to access the site Firefox Safe Mode.
You can restart Firefox in Mode safe help
Help > restart with disabled modules
In the dialog box, click on 'Start mode safe' (not Reset)
Any difference?
Safe mode does not automatically neutralize plugins. If you think that the site is using one of those, and you want to see what happens when it is disabled, you can do it manually on the addons page.
Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons
In the left column, click on Plugins, and then edit the suspect plugin or ask to activate or to never turn on and reload the page.
Any difference?

Satellite P200 - 1EE, problems of HD - DVD after you connect to the TV via HDMI
Hello
Like many others I have read on here that I'm too have problems with playback of HD DVD.
However the difference for me seems to be that, initially, I was able to read my DVD HD (it was the movie 300 passing) until I tried to connect the laptop to my HDTV via HDMI (it is only 720 p not 1080i). He doesn't have to play with the message "not responding". Now, the HD-DVD will not play even on the laptop.
Any suggestions?
I tried to use windows restore without success and also tried to download the update of the driver, as described in other posts, but the download is not completed. (also I can't find an update of the firmware on the Toshiba site)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

After the internet connection all browsers open the pages of the World Bank, but in the task bar sign network is to have a Red Cross and when I go over it, it says not connected, but I can always use internet in my browsers. Why? It causes an adverse effect on my computer.
Hi Akash,
Welcome to the Microsoft community. According to the description of the bar icon problem tasks of the network have a red x, but you can still access the internet. Provide the following information:
· Did you do changes on the computer before the show?
· You use a third-party security software?
I suggest you follow these methods.
Method 1: Follow these steps:
Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.
Startup options (including safe mode)
Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 3 from the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Update: I used the wrong word in the question. It FREEZES rather than be crushed. I have to force quit. Hope this clear things upward.
I followed the instructions of an officer of Yahoo Mail (in a problem of yahoo with their mail) to clear the cache and cookies on 'Everything' (time slot). Crashed Firefox. Now every time that I reopen it, it gives the error message and an option to restore or start a new session, but as soon as I click on anything, whether it crashes.
Apparently, my user profile has been altered. Deleted file Profiles , dumped FF, did a clean install and it works like a charm. I saved profiles, but I'm scared to have to add because I don't know what is corrupt. It seems my attempt to clear the cache and cookies trigger something...

Firefox crashes, unless you keep moving the mouse - still a question
I tried all the suggestions and went through the lists to try to solve this problem:
Run the update
Reset
Safe mode
Disable hardware acceleration
Disable Add-ons
Default appearance
etc.I have tried several malware programs, deleted cookies (only found threat). All this does not solve the problem, but now I get errors when I restart my computer. Ugh!
If you have not already done, run a full scan of your system with the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner(these two security tools are free).
Also, try updating your java for more later and see if that helps.
Thanks again

Hello
Try adding the following commands
permit same-security-traffic intra-interface
NAT (outside) 1 192.168.1.96 255.255.255.240
Is there are always problems with VPN then I would maybe change VPN pool to anything other than something that comes into conflict with the LAN.
In this case, these configurations should do the trick
In order from top to bottom, they would do the following things
- First remove the pool VPN and VPN configurations
- Then remove the VPN pool
- Remake of the VPN Pool with different network
- Reattach the VPN pool for VPN configurations
- Configure NAT0 to the new cluster of VPN
- Remove the old line of the ACL of the configuration of NAT0

Firefox crashes after the Flash videos play with black screen
Everytime I play a video with Flash, the screen is black, even if the sound is played. Then, Firefox crashes.
I use the latest Version of Firefox (28.0) on Mac OS 10.9.2 (new Macbook Air) and the latest version of Flash. I tried safe mode and disable my plug-ins to make sure it is Flash.
I have re-installed Flash and installed, but it did not help.
My Firefox crash reports say "hang." libsystem_kernel.dylib@0x15a3a ' signature and ' EXC_BREAKPOINT / 0x00000002 "due to the accident."
Have you tried to disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player?

Drives and airport Extreme Base Station to disconnect after connection to the VPN
At home when I'm on WIFI, everything works fine. At the moment where I connect to the VPN to do office work, the base station will disconnect and accessible either.
Any help?
The problem you are experiencing is perhaps due to the type of VPN tunnel that you use to connect to your workplace. There are basically two types: 1) full or partial) 2. Note: The different VPN clients can use other words, but these are usually options when you set up a tunnel.
When you use a complete tunnel, all traffic between your computer and the VPN of your working server, through the tunnel. No traffic is allowed on your local network, and therefore, all local resources are not available. With a partial tunnel, your computer data traffic, may as well go through the tunnel and also to your local network. One reason to use a partial tunnel, for example, is that you have a local printer, you need to perform printing. You can be connected to this type of tunnel for access to the documents and then, be able to print on this printer... otherwise, with a tunnel of full, you would print to a printer at your place of work.

Get 810 error message when you try to connect to the VPN using L2TP protocol
Original title: L2TP will not let me connect.
I am in Workstation 9 and in each virtual machine, I have an AD - DC (2K8R2Enterprise), CA and RRAS (2K8R2Enterprise) and my last vm is a win7 (they are all tests). All are not updated, but the PPTP, IKEv2 work without problem. The second server that has the CAs and RRAS is a member of the AD - DC server. The Win7 is not on the domain and I have Win7 a client certificate. I have ensured that the CA root of trust is in the user store and computer Trusted Root CA. I have also ensured that the Win7 client certificate is in the user store and personal computer. I get a 810 error message when I try to connect to the VPN using the L2TP protocol. I have exhaustively studied this problem and I can't find a solution to this problem. I also raise the functional level of the domain to 2K8R2.
I think this should be a simple and easy solution, but where can I find the answer? Please help me.Thank you for your time.Allan.Hi Allan,

Unable to gateway ping after the connection to the VPN
I've implemented a ASA 5505 with virtually any configuration. I changed the interface of the 192.168.168.250 inside and set up DSL PPPoE for the external interface.
The ASA works perfectly for all my Internet needs so I set up a VPN using Ipsec VPN Wizard. This also works perfectly, except that I noticed a thing. Once I connect to the VPN, I'm not able to ping from the inside address of the ASA at the 192.168.168.250. When I ping or manage the ASA using this IP address, while I work on the site it works fine. Why is this and is there a way that I can change?
Thank you!
