XP SP3 restarts randomly with no BSODS and no event registered.
It happens once a day or every two days. Sometimes while I'm working. Sometimes, when the machine is idle in the middle of the night.
No blue screen appears.
I removed the checkbox control restart automatically to show the BSOD.
No errors in the event log.
I checked the memory and HARD drive.
I did an extensive search of viruses with Microsoft Security Essentials and moy.
All the recent critical updates are installed.
I'm sure it's a software and not a hardware problem because I have Linux installed on another partition, and it never fails when running Linux.
This machine works duo Intel. I have another machine AMD XP suffers exactly the same problem.

The most common cause for a sudden and random reboot is overheating. The fact that this does not happen with Linux can be because Linux can operate more efficiently and the CPU is not as hot when you do what you do on Linux compared to what you do in Windows. To confirm this, download and run the program 'CoreTemp' freeware

who's going to show you how hot your CPU is running. If shows temperature running near the hot limit, then consider opening your computer, check that all your fans are running and clean all the dust out of the CPU all about.

framed color box color changes randomly - with red, blue and yellow
Hello
I want the user to do something when the color box changes from black (ready) to green (together), then red, yellow or blue (go). The user wil know what colors come to them.
The user will will push a specific sequence of buttons depending on the color.
Success will push the sequence of buttons assigned to a specific color. There are 16 push buttons. (this is to recall and response time)
In any case, I can write the program without problem.
The user can test red (push a specific sequence of buttons according to red), then blue and yellow. I can get to repeat a color so they will make four tests.
Sorry for being long-winded.
My question is how I randomly generates a color to begin a trial.
If this set of tests is unclear by the subject on go the color was presented randomly as a guest.

If you have a fixed set of colors, put them in a table and generate a random number between 0 (Array Size-1) and an element of the matrix of the index. Multiply the random number (0-1), multiply by the rounded and maximum value at most closely to get your index.
If you want to generate a truly random color, use the RGB color VI and wire 3 random numbers between 0 and 255 to generate a random red, green and blue component like this:

Custom problem with CFINPUT, masks and onFocus events
I'm running into an interesting problem, I found a bug in ColdFusion MX 7.0.2 on Windows Server 2003. I have a CFINPUT field with a mask and an onFocus event. When the page is rendered, however, the resulting HTML code has two events onFocus with my called twice and the mask function, called only once. I was able to work around this problem, but it is kind of annoying. See the example below:

MB Pro restarts randomly with the ethernet cable is plugged
I recently bought a thunderbolt reduction - Ethernet [1] and it works very well. The problem is that when it is plugged in, my MacBook Pro (13', 2015, i5, 8 GB) gets very hot. This isn't a problem, but the next thing is really annoying.
Whenever I'm not load, but the ethernet cable is connected, and MacBook goes into sleep mode, the system turns off instead. Thus, for example, when I don't have the power cable and if go for 5 minutes, the system automatically sets the mode 'sleep'. When I come back, it is turned off, and when I hit the power button, a black screen with the Apple logo and a text in several languages, saying that the system restarted because of a problem. After that, MacBook starts normally.
The same phenomenon occurs:
- When the power cable is not connected and I close the screen
- When the power cable is not connected and I SLEEP manually the MacBook
- When the screen is closed and I plug the power or the ethernet cable
I use OS X 10.11.

BIOS update problems. After SP3 update, I got the BSOD and cannot be run in Mode without failure.
Yesterday I went to the AMD site to download the latest version of the BIOS. I installed the SP3 for XP and got the BSOD but no details, only four error codes after the Stop 0x0000007e.
Registered under a WinZip BIOS and when I opened it, it was defined as a file of VLC media player, which seemed poorly, and as a text file, which seemed wrong. Earlier, but I had been able to open it, then run, and then he said that I had to stop so he could activate. So when I said if turned off, the system said, hang on, it's not over and if you stop now, you may lose files. So I waited, nothing happened. So I did it again, and he says that you want to uninstall, suggesting it was already installed.

I'm working on a project where I have a black and white photo. When you hover over the image, it turns to a color version of the same image. When you take your mouse out of the picture, it was in black and white.
I have three instances of the image, a black and white image to frame 1, a color to frame 10 image and a black and white image to frame 20. Currently, when I mouse over the black and white photo, it turns to color image as I had hoped. However, when my mouse leaves the image, she remains on the color image.

I brought the computer to a genius bar. No known hardware issues. They reset the mac to factory settings, but already during the first launch of configuration, the computer froze again. For a few days, everything was ok while the problems started again. I only certified software: printer Canon and Adobe Creative Cloud. I tried to change the position, to connect the mac to the router with the cable to the same WiFi spot left offline, but the problem persists. sometimes with intervals of 2 hours to others 4 times in an hour. Write an email, with safari or even left (do not use)
I tried new Apple Diagnostics and disk utility both without errors even if disk utility displays more ssd.

In the two months, my computer works more more slowly, with more frequent crashes, display of graphics weird (almost like T.V. snow) at the launch of google chrome/safari, randomly closed opening programs/browsers when it restarts and initializing the fan when executing simple programs, such as Microsoft Word. I've recently updated to El Capitan about two months ago on my MacBook Pro 2010. Before that I have updated the material a year ago by battery replacement and upgrade to a larger hard drive.
The problems occurred when I updated to Apple new OS El Capitan. My computer is too old to manage this OS even with new battery and HD? Should I increase my RAM? My computer got a virus? I ran an EtreCheck and can't decipher what, if anything, could be wrong with it (apart from the RAM is lean). I know that the performance indicator said 'Excellent'... but, my computer does not "excellently." Any help or enlightenment that all could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Get BSOD, Bad Pool Header with Mass Effect and Batman AA
The problem I have is that whenever I play Mass Effect or Batman Arkhum Asylum, they tend to crash randomly during the game with a BSOD saying Bad_Pool_Header. The games would be fine for awhile, then it would break any chance to this BSOD screen. I tried to figure if these 2 games is in conflict with something, but I'm having a hard time to do this. Those are the only 2 games that cause this problem. I can't understand why.

I don't know why this is happening, but I'm getting random BSOD now and then. I tried to point out my system to see if it generates a BSOD, but multitasking 3d and photoshop programs and what's not stress, then when I least expect, BANG! BSOD.
The last of them, that I had now was in the middle of the night with almost no programs running. The system had worked for some time (one or two days), but nothing was he pointing out at the same time.What I think happened was: our microwave shorted out and caused a fuse to blow. But it was on another grid in our House (I hope I make myself clear, because I'm not used to talk about stuff like this in English!) so it should not affect my computer. But at the same time my microwave said "Thank you for everything!" my computer would BSOD. The thing is that my modem, my switch, my router and my NAS is connected to the electric network and my short circuted of switch. And my computer is connected to the switch cable.
This effect possible that excess tension (or something) has short circuted my switch and 'jumped' power to the switch and on the cable and sending there is a shock to my computer? Or am I just paranoid? Laughing out loudI know that the controllers are pushed to the limit of the memory and therefor tolerate very little when it comes to electricity. I ran MemTest4.00 14 passes but I came with nothing. But memtest that tests memory, not the controllers, right? I am watching a fried motherboard?

I think you're in luck. It chances are you are one of those rare cases where the BSOD may not be hardware related. In addition, it is actually pretty rare to have so many errors after a sfc... Wow. I think that alone has helped reduce the risk of an another BSOD and was good insurance against other problems.
Do you have a chance to check the hard drive? Now, I would like to check the hard drive to see if there may be potential damage to the hard drive as well to help explain this number of errors (return to the material again).

I have attached a screenshot showing how to select restore automatic session just above the setting of the Home Page where it says "When Firefox starts".
With this set, you can restart Firefox manually out using the menu-
- "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
- (menu bar) File > Exit
-and then restart Firefox.
