    I'm reading a file mpeg and Windows Media Player C00D1199 error.  How to get good download of the missing codec?  I have windows 7 x 64 os.

    All is not lost.

    Download and install a pack of codecs, such as K-Lite (Google for it). You can find THAT WMP can then read the file.

    Or
    Download and install a small program called Gspot (Google it)! Drag and drop in its window one of the files, you can't plzy. It will tell you which codecs are used. You can then download and install the only after doing a search on the web for it.
    See you soon,.

  • Is there another SOLUTION FOR READING FILES .flv in addition to PLAYER in time REAL?

    Recently, I upgraded from Real Player cloud both Real Player on two desktop computers. A computer kept thousands of thumbnails of the video while the other did not. I confirm in this forum and has received several possible solutions, which did not work. Also, I confirm with Real Player and received several, almost identical solutions also failed to solve the mystery. Real Player always has a constant search for the answer. I have to pronounce on the HP computer with the missing thumbnails by doing a system recovery to factory specifications. Returned all the missing thumbnails and all is well except for one, and it's that I don't have reinstall Real Player/Real times. Windows Media Player plays the majority of the thousands of videos, but there are still hundreds that are unplayable without Real Player/Real times. My question is, ' is there a safe format to install other than Real Player/Real times to read .flv files without jeopardizing other files? Also, is there a reason why Microsoft Gets a built in-house audio/video download system rather than having to resort to a third party outside? Thank you.

    Yes > VLC will easily play flash files.

  • Cannot read bittorrent movie on windows media player

    I downloaded a movie from Bittorrent. Scanned it and his own, how can I get Windows media Player to read?

    RS

    There is absolutely no way of knowing what has been added or lack of torrents.  They cannot be infected (or your malware can just missed it), but this does not mean that they have been downloaded correctly or have been completed.

    The other aspect is that you may need a codec for this particular file type.  What is the extension for it?

    That looks like your file association for .pdf files is watered. You must assign to Adobe Reader instead of Media Player: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-default-programs#1TC=windows-7

  • Cannot read the DVD with Windows Media Player

    Running WIndows Server 2008 R2.  Desktop experience is responsible.  In my view, that it includes Windows Media Player V12.

    Try to play the DVD.  The message "setting resolution".  Setting resolution does not help.

    Installed K-Lite Codec Pack full.  Get the same message on the resolution setting.  Uninstall K - Lite Codec Pack now I get ' WMP cannot play the DVD because no compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.

    I'm a novice and dangerous, so no "step-by-steps" would be greatly appreciated.

    Press F12 to enable Compatibility Mode

    go to developer tools, and then click navigation Mode

    And now everything works fine!  Thanks, Vijay!

  • Reading files audio sampled with media player

    Hello.

    On the Simulator, the following code works fine:

    System.out.println("starting con");
    FileConnection con = (FileConnection)Connector.open(loc, Connector.READ);
    System.out.println("making input stream");
    InputStream instream = con.openInputStream();
    System.out.println("Starting player");
    Player p = Manager.createPlayer(instream, type);...

    He created the player and later tells the player to begin playing the audio.  The variable "loc" is the location of a file in the audio folder of the sample (ex: file:///store/samples/ringtones/Alarm_Antelope.mid).

    It works perfectly on the Simulator.  When I put it on the device, the try/catch block that surrounds the "InputStream instream = con.openInputStream ();" line is triggered and the exception returns the following error: "net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessException" in the console. A google search has met a person who was trying to record videos, and the suggestion was to start it with the command "invokeLater.  I tried with no luck.

    The only files that play on the device within my program are those who are in the SDCard/blackberry/ringtones folder.  Cannot create flow of entry for any file in the samples directory.

    I manually set all the permissions of the application to allow before running this application.  The application is signed as well.

    So the question is, how I play multimedia files from the examples folder?  Is there an IT strategy that would block this type of access to the files?

    Will give glory to whoever solves this.

    You can't play the tones that distributes the RIM on the device.

  • How to make subtitles for a video file appear in Windows Media Player?

    I recently got a video file to a DVD, ending with a .mkv file type. The audio is in a language other than English, but there are English subtitles available. If I play the file in Windows Media Center or Windows Movie Maker, and then present subtitles, but in Windows Media Player, subtitles are not. I activated the option of subtitles (play > lyrics, captions and subtitles > on) but still no results. I use software different media if necessary, but my favorite is WMP and prefer to use it. Thanks in advance!
