Y50 - cannot install graphics drivers

I'm not able to install the latest graphics driver from nvidia. It installs the latest version of the GeForce experience but software that tells the 332.50 driver is up-to-date. The 337.88 driver is WHQL certified and lists of compatibility with the 860 m, but when trying to install it, it says "this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware." On the nvidia website, it says "your product manufacturer requires to download a driver for your device from their site" but it's 332.50 is quite obsolete at this point. Someone knows a way I can get the updated drivers? Should be a fairly significant increase in performance.

I was able to get it figured out. It turns out that I need a modded .inf file
Let the Installer do its thing and disable driver signature enforcement in
Windows to allow it. Kind of headaches, but it is now supported and I'm
able to take advantage of the features on the new drivers.

I don t think that Toshiba provides Win ME drivers for this device, and so you should Google in the internet for the graphics driver.

I have recently reinstalled Windows & if I try to install the ATI drivers from the drivers CD or the website of HP, the laptop hangs on the Windows logo after as a reboot and I have to do a system restore to fix. If I try to install just the Intel driver it gives me just an error that says: "this computer does not meet the minimum requirement to install the software.

I'm unable to change the brightness and the resolution is poor. In the Device Manager both options graphics card say "Standard VGA graphics card", with a yellow error sign on one of them. Hello:

In fact there is no driver for your GPU.

The hardware ID for the graphic adapter that is specific to your model is not included in the driver pack.

I reported this problem to HP engineering who is working on the release of a working driver.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Installed graphic drivers are out of date

I received the message that my graphics drivers are more up-to-date, when I installed a new game.

My system is a Touchsmart 610-1115uk

It has Intel HD Graphics driver 8.15.10.2291.

    I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit - SP1.

When I try to find an update using HP support assistant he says no update available. When I tried Intel they said I should do an update from HP.

    Welcome to the forum.

There is no update driver for the graphics subsystem built into your computer.  HP is not develop drivers for computers that are more than a year.  HP having their motherboards made to their specifications, you can not use a driver of retail with her.

    Hello

In general, the drivers available on the graphics card manufacturer s site are mainly designed for desktop computers and it is always recommended to use the drivers designed by producer for laptop. On this way the graphics card will be protected against overheating and suddenly get compromised.

In any case, you can try to install it as shown in the previous announcement.

    Hello diggerjim,

    1. When you install the graphics card, is detected in the BIOS?

I suggest that you check to see if the graphics card is detected in the BIOS. However, you just contact the manufacturer of the graphics card to have a control over it.

Since it is a hardware related issue, your best option would be to contact the manufacturer or check with the place where you bought the graphics card.

  • Cannot install the drivers and software for HP Deskjet 5650

I removed most of the HP entries to my printer from the Start Up. Since then I have not been able to get the Printer Wizard to start. Recently, I uninstalled everything related to the printer from Add Remove programs. Since that time I tried to install my HP drive. It comes up with the error that the software does not support my operating system. My operating system is Windows XP Home Edition SP3. The software is looking for Windows XP. I downloaded the drivers and software from HP. When it runs, it starts very well. For some reason, it isn't detecting my printer. After you select how the printer is connected to the computer and the connection at the same time the software tries to finish, but he comes up with an error and says it cannot complete the installation. I am able to install the drivers, but when I try to install the drivers and software is when the error appears. How can I fix? It would be nice to use the wizard for printer hp again.

I found the solution to my problem. Before I could install the software and drivers for my printer that I had to remove completely all the software and the printer driver. Here's what I used to delete the printer driver. Restarting my PC after removing the printer driver has been the most important step. Everything works fine now.

  • Satellite X 205 - cannot install audio drivers

    Hey!

I have problems with installing the audio driver on my Satellite X 205 sli1. I tried to install the drivers from the realtek site, but they doesen't work. Then, I tried to install the patches 'kb835221' 'kb88811' and that the drivers but still nothing.

I can't find the drivers on the toshiba Web site. In everest, I checked my audio device is - Realtek ALC268 @ Intel 82801HBM ICH8M - high definition Audio Controller PCI.

    Please help me!

    Hey Buddy,

In my opinion the easiest way is installation of Service Pack 3 for Windows XP. It contains patches for cards high definition sound and the other important security fixes. You can download it from the Microsoft Web site.

But SP3 or patches must be installed * first * and then the audio driver. Otherwise it will not work.

So my recommendations, uninstalling the audio driver and clean your system using the freeware CCleaner tool. Restart your computer and make sure and install SP3 if it s does not. After that, install the latest driver from the Web to Realtek site.

    Check this box!

    Hello.

I am using Toshiba Satellite C660-1HU and I can't find anywhere to its graphic drivers, I guess that I need because my max resolution is only 1024 x 768, and it should be 1300 something... In fact it is painfuly your time and hard to find drivers for Toshiba, I spent 8 hours until I can find the drivers from the internet and it was not even intended for C660-1HU, in fact, there is NO driver for this model.

Comments or suggestions? I'm VERY unpleased to Toshiba customer service, it's awful.
Thanks for the help, hopefully you will change everything for the better.

    > I spent about 8 hours until I can find the drivers from the internet and it was not even intended for C660-1HU, in fact, there is NO driver for this model.
I put t understand why you're looking for drivers if you can find what you need on the Toshiba support page.
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

    Type of product > Notebook
    Family > Satellite
Product series > C series Satellite
    Model > Satellite C660
    Short-term model > PSC0SE
Operating system > chose your operating system

And you will have all the drivers for each supported operating system. Instead it will take 8 hours not more than 30 seconds to find the display driver.
