Yahoo Maps, in MapViewer?

Hello

are there plans to integrate Yahoo Maps in a future release of Oracle cards again?

Kind regards

Friedhold

Lol Yahoo Maps is not the same thing as CIHI cards, i.e. HERE (Nokia) is the mapping for Yahoo Maps service.

HERE the cards is supported.

  • Google Maps and Mapviewer with SRID 8307 like the SRID display.

    LJ recently published the very concise example (thanks!) of the google maps display in mapviewer on his blog.

    Questions to which I am soliciting answers to form the forum is:

    (1) for the use of Google map tiles, is the assumption that made the SRID for the card will, or should be SRID 3785?
    (2) the ability to google does support the tiles from google to be crushed on a map of mapviewer with SRID 8307 upward? (I ask because we tried and we have the offset of the scale - perhaps zoom levels must be set to 20?)

    Thank you

    Stone

    Not that I know of. Used 3785 and 11.1.0.6, 11.1.0.7 without problems.

    Send me msg of error MapBuilder.
    And entry of user_sdo_geom_metadata for the table, the column that contains the data in 3785.

  • Boundries returned when you view a raster map, in MapViewer are too large.

    Hi all

    I send a request to MapViewer and him asking to return a matrix card of one of my tables in the database. Whenever I have to do if I receive a wide blue border around the image, which I suppose is the background color.

    This means that my extensions is entered in the SDO_GEOM_METADATA view for the table, are larger than the bodies of raster image? I would like the image returns to match my extensions of raster map. I've tested this with most raster image, I use so I know that no larger raster map is the origin of the problem. I work in MapViwer 10.1.2 using Oracle 10.2.
    My XML code is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>

    Hi Tim,.
    the final map aspect ratio is defined by the application area and the peripheral zone. It is not based on the size of your original image. Indeed, when rendering a GeoRaster MapViewer Gets the highest level of the pyramid for the scale of the current map, and read the image data may be a less detailed representation of your image.
    In order to not think about the relationship between your image size and the size of the unit. Think that the final plan is determined by the aspect between the requested data area and the peripheral zone ratio. You shouldn't be too concerned with the size of the unit, because if you zoom or zoom out changes in the relationship and the size of the map is adjusted to keep the appearance with the peripheral zone. For example, when you zoom in you will see your card covers your region of the whole device. You can play with your data in MapBuilder.

  • Map Oracle could not load map of MapViewer on another machine

    I am running in a standalone OC4J Server Oracle MapViewer and my application works by instance OC4J of JDeveloper. They are on the same machine but different ports. When I try to use Oracle map JavaScript API

    var map = new MVBaseMap("mvdemo.demo_map");
    mapview.addBaseMapLayer (basemap);

    mapview.addBaseMapLayer (basemap) failed with an error of null point to f16. F45 [this ._f256].coordSys.minX [0] in oraclemaps.js JavaScript. I am really appreciated if someone could give me some clues on this issue. Thank you!

    (1) in 10.1.3.1 (first version), the application should be deployed in the same container where MapViewer was deployed.
    This changed in subsequent patches. So try 10133P 5 available on OTN.

    (2) if it all works with the application and MapViewer are run on the same server (oc4j) App there is probably a Tiler named demo_map.
    However you can reconfirm by querying the user_sdo_cached_maps view. that is something like
    Select the definition of user_sdo_cached_maps, where name = 'DEMO_MAP ';

  • Google Maps Flex API - UK postal codes

    Hi all

    I dare say most of you isn't in United Kingdom so perhaps no information on that, but I started to tackle this problem. The Google Maps API seems to recognize the names of city in England, even relatively small provided that I put into the details of the County and country. But as far as I know, postal code UK is not recognized in the way which we ZIP codes are. Someone else has encountered this and if so how did you work around it? The example of Tour de Flex Yahoo maps seems to know zip codes, but I must admit that I don't really like the appearance of their cards...

    Richard

    If this is related to the updated Google Maps geocode call attempt in the form of your search string as postal code + ', UK '.

    i.e." TN13 2 TB, UK.

    Another technique is to call "Google local search", see the example

    search http://code.google.com/apis/Maps/documentation/Flash/demogallery.html?SearchQuery=local%20 & classname=

    Define the type of research on "The GeoWeb" and the type of postal code as shown above (TN13 2 TB, UK), the source code is provided.

  • Image and JSON response is possible with mapviewer

    Hello
    I am a newbie to mapviewer, however I have good skills with Open Source such as Geoserver map server, recently the data store has really exceeded the limits of my Architecture of Web mapping and nowadays I am bussy assess Mapviewer.

    I read the manual of the API and perform all demos, I think its fantastic, but in my scenario, I need to use without the javascript Api Maps Oralce mapviewer. It is possible to get an answer simple image when WMS calls ask and it is possible to get a JSON response agaisnt WFS request, because I use my web application and map server are in different domains, in order to avoid the same origin policy, I used JSON to my answers WFS. These two things are possible, in mapviewer or is it mandatory to use mapviewer with oracle map api.

    Kind regards.
    Imran

    WMS returns an image. WFS returns a xml (GML) doc as a response.
    JSON is not supported in the current version.

  • Cards, in MapViewer on a defined scale display

    Hi all

    Is it possible to display maps, in MapViewer 10.2.1 on a defined scale? For example 01:10, 000; 1:5, 000; 1:2,500 and so on.

    If the Oracle MapViewer map scale does refer to a value of the representative fraction? If this isn't the case, nobody here knows what the scale of the map of MapViewer doesn't make reference to?

    I tried to calculate the map units for a full map, but my distance to the ground is in meters, I converted by display size in meters. Is this good or MapViewer imposes of must not in inches?

    Conversion to metres, I had a value of 7877.8229644371376654841221770792.
    If I stayed with thumbs I get 200.09670329670329670329670329672

    I was just thinking that for raster maps which dpi of the image is not 72 dpi, you use the dpi of the image map raster value and not 72 dpi.

    Kind regards

    Tim

    Hi Tim,.
    You can use the scale in your application with a central point. The request of the card would be something like:

    -90.0,32.0
    ...

    where to scale: "250000" corresponds to a ratio scale 1: 250, 000.

    In MapBuilder, when it made a card: you can set a height or a scale, and you should get the scale of the map after rendering on the status bar (if the data has a valid SRID). Here you get a better idea of your map scales.

  • Time not appearing does not, in MapViewer with Internet Explore (Reposted)

    (I posted this question once before, but I think he had a few problems caused by the div tag in the HTML code I included.) The div 'map' did not appear in the sent message and some other links on the page did not work, perhaps because of my rogue "div". I used markup codes in the hope that these problems don't exist this time. I apologize.)

    I use MapViewer 10133p 5 and having troubles placing times in Internet Explorer (IE code that seems to work in Firefox very well fail in Internet Explorer). I reduced my HTML to which, in my view, are the essential and pasted its contents below.

    In the Firefox browser, anywhere, anytime, I click on the card that I see an alert indicating the coordinates where I clicked, then a FAITH (with a picture on it) is placed on the card. Finally, I see another alert letting me know that the FAITH was placed. In IE7, I see alerts, but I never see FAITH. Finally, from what I can tell, the Server WebLogic which is at the service of the MapViewer app receives a request, whenever I have this in Firefox, but sees not a request come through when I do it in Internet Explorer.

    IE gives me no indication that something is wrong, and since the final warning (see below) goes off, I have to assume that the execution of the script is not a failure. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  • How to use API Javascript OracleMaps go to a different host than MapViewer

    Hello

    I have successfully configured the Mapviewer 10131 QuickStart and am able to see the example page showMap.html perfectly. I would like to run this sample on a different server where Mapviewer is installed. Let say mapviewer is installed on jstraub - winsvr:8888 and I want to run jstraub showMap.html - linux1:7777. I tried to change the showMap function and location to oraclemaps as follows:

    < script language = "Javascript" src = "http://jstraub-winsvr:8888/mapviewer/fsmc/jslib/oraclemaps.js" > < / script >

    function showMap()
    {
    baseURL var = "http://jstraub-winsvr:8888 / mapviewer.
    var mapCenterLon =-122.45.
    var mapCenterLat = 37.6706;
    var mapZoom = 4;
    Browse var = MVSdoGeometry.createPoint (mapCenterLon, mapCenterLat, 8307);
    MapView var = new MVMapView (document.getElementById ("map"), baseURL);
    mapview.addBaseMapLayer (new MVBaseMap ("mvdemo.demo_map"));
    mapview.setCenter (mpoint);
    mapview.setZoomLevel (mapZoom);
    MapView.Display ();
    }

    Now when I try to launch this page on jstraub - linux1:7777, I get an error Javascript and Firebug, I see that there is request as follows:

    MESSAGE: http://jstraub-linux1:7777/mapviewer/ReturnLocaleOper

    GET: http://jstraub-linux1:7777/mapviewer/mcserver?xml_request=%3C?xml+version=%221.0%22+standalone=%22yes%22?%3E%3Cmap_cache_admin_request%3E%3Cget_client_config+map_cache_names=%22mvdemo.demo_map%22+format=%22JSON%22/%3E%3C/map_cache_admin_request%3E

    Of course, these claims are false since mapviewer is at jstraub - winsvr:8888 and not jstraub - linux1:7777, I want to just run the jstraub page - linux1:7777. Someone knows how to do this?

    Kind regards

    Jason

    First of all, if you have a Metalink download account the MapViewer patch (7195504).

    Then check the javadioc. If the MVBaseMap constructor signature is
    MVBaseMap ( mapCacheName, mapCacheURL)

    then use mapviewer / http://jstraub-winsvr:8888 / mcserver
    as the mapCacheURL in mapview.addBaseMapLayer (new MVBaseMap ("mvdemo.demo_map", "mapviewer / http://jstraub-winsvr:8888/mcserver")); "))

    Not sure about TI that will solve all the problems, however. You will probably encounter problems scripts cross-site with the 10.1.3.1.

  • Server geometry performance

    I test an application that uses the server of geometry available in the latest version of MapViewer.  I am confused as how to effectively use the parameter loadOnDemand for a "predefined" vector theme

    I test on a layer of 75000 points of intersection.  I guess with loadOnDemand set to true, a spatial filter is applied so that only these features in the current map window will be retrieved.  In practice, however, the together 75 k of features is questioned by the server mapviewer, even when the map window should be only showing half a dozen intersection points.

    The relevant javascript code is presented here:

    vectorlayer2 = new OM.layer.VectorLayer("vectorLayer2",
            {
                def:{
                    type:OM.layer.VectorLayer.TYPE_PREDEFINED,
                    dataSource:"itis-db3-wy",
                    theme:"IXN_INSXN_LEGS",
                    url: baseURL,
                    loadOnDemand:true
                }
            });
            vectorlayer2.setZoomLevelRange(17, 19);

            // add a vectorlayer. conversion from srid 90000006 to 4055 will occur on the server
            //vectorlayer1.setLabelsVisible(true);
            map.addLayer(tileLayer1) ;  // google tiles
            map.addLayer(tileLayer2) ;// mapviewer tiles
            map.addLayer(vectorlayer2) ; // mapviewer vectors
            map.addLayer(vectorlayer1) ; // mapviewer vectors
            //var z1 = tileLayer1.getZIndex();
            //var z2 = tileLayer2.getZIndex();
            map.addNavigationPanelBar();
            map.setMapCenter(new OM.geometry.Point(-104.81539,41.163299,8307) );
            map.setMapZoomLevel(17);

    The relevant info from newspaper MapViewer is here

    INFO: [ IXN_INTERSECTIONS ] sql exec time: 222ms, total time loading 23665 features: 33998ms.
    Sep 10, 2013 6:22:05 AM oracle.sdovis.theme.PredGeomThemeProducer loadFeaturesInAdjustedMBR

    If this is not correct, could you please provide some guidance on how to recover only the geometry in the current map window?  The approach above follows the example of tutorial D22.  Thank you for your help

    LJ,

    My problem was apparently linked to the projection, I used.   Preparing to use google maps with mapviewer, I projected according to my data planned to "Albers' personalized 4055 SRID.   I did it according to the Oracle Spatial documentation management (reference: 6.12 Google Maps considerations) in dealing with passing of ellipsoidal coordinates to spherical coordinates used in Google Maps.   I assumed that this was working properly because data has been put in the correct position.  After inspection (using Firebug), I realized that sent coordinates for the selection in another window that identifies the source data.   I decided to re - projecting the coordinates in the table of source SRID 4055 to 3857 SRID.  This corrected the problem as the bounding window and the layer of vector geometry became in sync (from a point of view of projection).

    As a side note, the code actually work correctly all the time.  The reason that all intersections were returned to being the bounding spherical Mercator map of project window by far exceeded the mbr of the intersection (in lat/long) layer.

    Finally, it might be useful to change the documentation in Oracle Spatial to ensure that the coordinate system end is SRID 3857 and not of 4055 (as currently noted).

    Problem solved.  Thank you very much for your help.

    I need to also represent themes via SQL. For example in the API Java-Bean, is there a function to do this:

    mapViewer.addJDBCTheme ("Test", "Geo_Theme", "SELECT GEOM FROM GEOMETRIES", "GEOM", "8307", "colors", NULL, NULL, false)

    But this Geo_Theme is not persistent. So, is there a way to do this with MapViewer in JavaScript or XML? I have to build in an HTML document. Or can I create this theme in Java and then continuing to use then in the HTML document like themes created in Mapbuilder?

    I need to build a theme with JavaScript or XML, or in the other case SQL, build with addJDBCTheme in Java-Bean and then use it in the HTML document (you must be persistent as MapBuilder themes).

    Thank you.

    You can create a JDBC ThemeBasedFOI (i.e. a sql theme) in Javascript. It's just a MVThemeBasedFOI where the theme is defined using the xml API syntax to set a theme of jdbc. The tutorial example "JDBC theme based FAITH" gives more details. The key element in this example is:

    function addBuffertheme (themeTable, RADIUS)
    {
    baseQuery = "select sdo_geom.sdo_buffer (A.location," + RADIUS + radius +.
    «(, 0,005, ' unité = arc_tolerance mile = 0,005') location «+»»
    "of" + themeTable + "A"; "
    var theme = '' +.
    "
    ' render_style = "' + bufferStyle + '" datasource = "mvdemo" > ' + baseQuery +.
    "
    " ;
    buffertheme = new MVThemeBasedFOI ('buffertheme', theme);
    buffertheme.setBringToTopOnMouseOver (true);
    buffertheme.setVisible (false);
    mapview.addThemeBasedFOI (buffertheme);
    Place the theme of the buffer under the theme of customer
    mapview.setThemeIndex (buffertheme, 1);
    mapview.setThemeIndex (customertheme, 2);

    }
