Yellow star icon to the Favorites folder.

I moved the Favorites Explorer folder.  Everything works fine in Internet Explorer.

However, in the Favorites folder Explorer itself has a regular folder icon and not the yellow star.

Hello

Follow the steps and check if that helps.

(a) right click on the Favorites folder.

(b) click on properties, and click Customize.

(c) click on the change icon button and select the yellow star icon

(d) click on apply, and then click Ok.

  • How to remove an item from the Favorites folder in the library?

I'm new to the movement and try to learn to use it.

In the library is the favorite named folder. I spilled some items in there (moved from content folders, transmitters of particles or generating things) that I would like to delete now.

I guess these things in the favorite folder are just aliases to the actual items, but I can't figure how to get rid of them.

Highlight an item in the Favorites folder and pressing the delete key do nothing. Command + del also does nothing. Control-click about to bring up any option decision Trash. Drag the item out of the folder and the desktop does nothing.

I have an ICON in the upper left of my main screen, to the left of the clock and to the right of his profiles that looks like a yellow world, sitting to the right of the yellow box envelope received.

Does anyone has any ideas what it is or means. It arrived yesterday...

Yes, is a reminder of the wap browser

To disable it go to folder main message, press menu, view records, wap push messages and turn it off.

  • Simply use the icons in the favorite bar

    instead of titles

The Favorites are called bookmarks in Firefox.

Right-click on the individual bookmark, and then click Properties. You can abbreviate the name down to nothing. You can also put similar bookmarks in folders with names in the bookmarks toolbar. Yet once again, right click on the bar will again offer folder.

Everyone seems to know this overflow of bookmarks goes down to the right of the page, which is accessed through the rafters (double arrow).

  • Bad icon in the Applications folder - good point about the taskbar

I installed Firefox. Logo of Firefox to the applications folder, but what is displayed is a different logo, with a white circle and a slash through the circle (as the crossed red circle on one car don't symbolize the 'no parking' on a road sign). When I dragged this logo in the taskbar, the correct Firefox logo appears in the taskbar, but in my file applications, strange logo is still there. Don't know if this means that there is a problem with the installation - were displayed no error message during the installation.

Description of the problem: a few days ago I installed the latest update of Windows. All updates, or so I think by the Windows Update Web page telling me so. However I find myself with the yellow warning icon telling me the KB2729450 update is ready on my computer and needs installation. However, the web page says that it successfully installed. I see the update in Add/REMOVE programs. I've deleted and reinstalled but still have the icon telling me to install it. • Put the app icon in the custom folder

    Hi all

I have a question on where the icon of the application is implemented. I use OS 5.0, BlackBerry JDE Plugin for Eclipse and after deployment of my application, the icon is placed in the download folder and it is not visible in the home screen. If I manually put the icon in the screen of the main menu, 1st place, I see the icon on the screen at the first position. Is there a way to automatically put the icon in this position? I saw the homescreen class, but I have not found any method to do this...

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Gianni.

lol the position is controlled by the theme (download folder is the default on most)

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not eliminate the CBS News (archive) icon in the downloads folder

Would like of course to all time.

Just downloaded CBS News of Blackberry App World and everything went well.  I like him already.

However, after I downloaded the update, he said was available,

I now not only have the CBS icon in my downloads folder but now

I have a «CBS News (Archives)» icon that looks like the same thing but

    with a top green arrow.

I clicked on this to try to get rid of because

I was afraid that the green arrow means if was still running.

I don't have the option to remove it or I would, because

whenever I try anything with her, my trackball freezes

and only can get by pressing the ESC key.

Does anyone know if this large green arrow means

that it is, indeed, running?  Or... How can I get rid of him?

    Thank you very much.

solved the problem.  Engine OFF... took out the battery for a few minutes... restarted... .archive icon had disappeared.

  • Can I import bookmarks of IE of the Favorites folder

I had a problem that has corrupted IE10 and IE11 and they start is no longer. I tend to switch between IE and FF. I have an old set of bookmarks in FF, but would be updated the most recently used in Internet Explorer. I found them in a folder subfolders of c:\users\stuart\favourites\(lots), but if I import via FF using the option "to leave a browser", it doesn't matter nothing. The records I want are not html, they are records containing the url files.

Is it possible to delete my old set of FF bookmarks and import this game far FRO these records?

    Thank you

Maybe this extension is able to access your IE Favorites.

  • Strange/false Machine, Time Capsule, icons in the applications folder on the time

    Hello

A few days ago I discovered, that the application on my time Machine icons - backup are false. (iMac 27;) OS X 10.11.2; Time Capsule 3TO via WiFi).  If I open the backups.backupdb file on my Machine of time with the finder, the initial backup of my iMac shows these icons as seen in my screenshot. 'Restore' Time machine panel shows the same icons, too.

    All other files are ok.

First I thought it's because my WiFi network is slow, so I plugged my Time Capsule via the LAN. Same result as above, wrong icons.

Management of time Machine on a USB HD normal all right...

I ' v reinstalled Mac OS, created a new Sparsebundle file via Airport utility. Without success, the problem persists.

However, I am able to restore apps, but it's annoying...

Anyone know it what is wrong?

    Thank you

    Rüdiger

Your Time Machine backup files are not intended to be modified in any way. Please leave them alone or your TM backup may be compromised. You can access the folder of applications through the user interface, as described in using Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac - Apple Support in the restoration of a section of backup Time Machine.
