yellow triangle on the lan icon

Hello

I need assistance with my LAN connection

I have 1 ms with the dhcp server role

I get random yellow triangle on my computers and laptops

the only way to fix it is to restart my VM to dc

need advice

Yossi.

If you move the pointer, it must indicate a lack of 'internet connectivity' - that may or may not ACTUALLY be the case.

In any case, if the "fix" for is your domain controller reboot (probably that your DNS sever, huh?), then your question would be better suited for the technet forums rather than the forums of (these) final consumers.

  • HP Envy 5660: yellow triangle in the system tray

I have a yellow triangle that appears at the bottom right of my screen - in the system tray - on top of the blue question mark HP.   I can't get rid of it.   It's the same thing every time - there are two errors (Windows and iOS) telling me that my printer is not on the network.

My printer works fine.   It will scan, copy, print, and send emails.   It is not a problem.   It is true that I turn it off for several days at a time, but I don't like to waste energy.

I followed the instructions in the Windows message three times.   The triangle back in an hour or a day.   I do not receive messages on iOS, because I use this system on a Windows computer.

This triangle is present - continuous - for the last six weeks, I just tried to ignore it, because there seems to be nothing wrong with the computer and a diagnostic printout tells me the e-mail address computers and said that things are fine.   The way I use my printer, it works fine!

I just want to lose the triangle!

  • Yellow exclamation on the network in Windows 8.1 icon

Since having the update 8.1 on my easy note Tv my wifi does not work it will list it yourself to connect, but then a yellow triangle with the message appears in my status bar in unidentified net work.

Don, t know what to do it worked fine until windows 8.1 update, what can I do to solve the problem?

Original title: unidentified wifi net work

    Hi Stuart,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

The problem can occur for various reasons, including incorrect TCP/IP settings configured, firewalls third of anti-virus programs blocking the connection, or due to bad the advanced sharing settings. So, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the yellow exclamation point is gone.

    Method 1:

Run the network troubleshooting and check if it helps. Run the troubleshooter from network first and then test your Internet connection.

Open the Network Troubleshooter by hitting on any fly in the Dashboard screen, quilting Search(or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the mouse down and then clicking search), entering the network troubleshooterin the search box, type, or by clicking settingsand then by typing or clicking on identify and fix network problems.

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 2:

Reset the DNS and TCP/IP settings.

    1. Press the Windows key + X, click prompt (Admin).
    2. Please enter the following commands and press ENTER after each one.
        netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
      netsh winsock reset
      ipconfig/registerdns
      ipconfig/flushdns
      ipconfig/release
    3. Restart the computer to check the issue.

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 3:

Temporarily disable the security software and check if it helps.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Hello

I put t know which lamps do you mean because I don t find any LAN LEDs on this laptop. In case you I would recommend checking the status of LAN card in Device Manager. Check if this card has been properly recognized and if there is no yellow exclamation point.

In addition, I put t know what you expect. If you connect the LAN cable to the laptop from the LAN icon in the taskbar should usually shows the connected state of LAN cable (NO red x). If you do not see this icon please activate this option in the properties of LAN.

My IDT audio works fine and its works my laptop well, but when I curls upward from my laptop to my TV via a HDMI cable, I output my laptop displays on my TV but no sound from my laptop on my TV came out. I think the problem is because there is something wrong with my high definition Audio Device. It has a yellow triangle next to him with a! in the middle of the yellow triangle in the Manager of devices under sound, video and game controllers. And when I click on properties on the high definition Audio Device, it says: "this device cannot start. (Code 10) {Operation failed} The requested operation failed. Any help would be great. • Yellow shield in the taskbar won't go away

I had a similar problem to that which has been reported in several other questions, where windows updates KB2572073 and KB2518864 moved successfully and then I would be invited to install again and again and again. I followed the suggestion of a couple of these other issues and uninstalled as well software .NET Framework as possible, then went through the process to install the latest updates for the .NET Framework to more recent levels.

I was always being asked to install KB2572073 and KB2518864 over and over again, so I downloaded the individual updates on the Microsoft web site and I installed them manually. Still once, they succeeded, but now I get the yellow shield in the taskbar icon, which suggests that the updates are available to be installed. But this time, when I try with the button right or left - click on this icon, it simply disappears and then comes back in 15-20 seconds. Click again and it goes for 15-20 seconds and back again.

Is there a way to get the yellow shield icon go away in this case? I know there is no other update to install because I can go to the Windows Update web site and select "Custom" and it tells me there are 0 packets. I just need to get rid of the yellow shield icon and bring her back only ago legitimately updates to install on my system.

  • yellow triangle with exclamation point - email inbox

I had this problem with the yellow triangle in front of the email inbox.  I read through the other posts, but nothing of what they discuss dealing with my problem.  they go into the intricate details of their problem, but I do not understand what are saying it heard much talk about what they share with assistance from the community.

I'm in ie9, vista home basic 32-bit sp2, celeron cpu [email protected] GHz, 2.0 GB Ram, intel 82945 G Express Chipset Family

    Thank you

I also started to feel the Inbox of yellow exclamation triangle in the last week or so. I use MSN Premium on Vista. In the past when this has happened, as noted in other posts, it 'fixed' himself after the Cup and back in. Unlike these occurrences in which I could neither send nor receive messages when the triangle appeared, now, mail MSN performance do not appear to be affected even with the yellow triangle at the moment - it is quite annoying but! Also running MSN premium on a laptop with Windows 10 and MSN e-mail works normally.

A little help from Microsoft on this issue would be nice!
