Yet suddenly askes CC currently subscribed to the serial number and does not

I am a Subscriber CC long time and current. Yesterday, Encore CS6 worked. Today, when I click to open the program and even invites me to enter a serial number or "quit". There's no other choice.

All my other applications are under way and work: Ae, Pr, Ps, Mu, have, the, ect, ect. All, but still...

All subscriber CC knows that our subscription does not come with a serial number. So I'm left wondering why my program worked yesterday and today it doedsn can't work. Mind you, nothing has changed between the time I left my computer at the same time I'm home. No updates, no new installs, n o t h i n g.

So I followed my first instinct to search google and bing and I find that this seems to be a common problem with any soultions short of re-writing and deletion of all kinds of crazy files that honestly just look at unscrupulous only intended to really screw things worse for the person who has the problem.

So, then I followed the walkthrough to the link adobe here: http://helpx.Adobe.com/creative-cloud/KB/CCM-prompt-serial-number.html It did not help me because it is not the problem. All my other apps work so of course my address, email, and payment options are updated.

Then I click the live chat at 6:00 pm pst and I bounced from one guy to another until at 7 pm pst, I get the message... "Sorry to hear that your application will not work. Please contact more experienced technical team later as they are offline. "WHAT? No just solution ' your problem happened at an inopportune time for adobe so come back later. " And no mention of when that time will be. THIS is NOT CUSTOMER Service. If not cool, moral or right in any universe. Just leave me hanging. I can't put words how upset I am at the moment. Adobe has really let me down.

When my clients have problems, I deal with it just here and and let he set and done. I can leave the ship on this one.

Richard, I tried "run as administrator" does not. However, I was able to get in touch with a technology adobe today. After about 3 or 4 different technicians, one finally was able to help me.

The tech had me open CC Pro Pre and go to 'help' and click on "logout". When you do this a pop up appears saying only: disconnection turns the following on this computer software, unless you connect again. following with the icon for each application Adobe CC that I installed.

The tech had me then open the pre Pro CS6, who at the opening of the askes you to sign in which I did. Once opened, pre Pro CS6 the tech had me check under 'help' to see if the option 'disable' was available or greyed out. For me, it is gray.

Then the tech had me pre Pro CS6 to close and open again and check 'help' to see if disable was still gray. and it was still grayed out.

Then, the tech had me close pre Pro CS6 and open meadow CC Pro which invites you to connect. After CC Pro Pre launched the tech told me close it and open pre Pro CS6 too check under the tab "help" again and confirm if 'disable' is always grayed out or black (executable). This time, 'disable' was black.

Then, the tech had me start Encore CS6 tto see if she still required a serial number. This time Ecore open like it should, without requiring a serial number.

I hope that this stick, or Adobe includes a definitive solution to the next update.
