Yoga 2 Pro cannot install windows updates

I like everything on my pro yoga2, except, when I got it I installed a victory 8.1 update because windows told me to. everything seemed to go well.

After that, the system asked me to install another upgrade. When trying to install that she spoke not able to install and was to undo the changes. I have read a few forums awhile back and he spoke a particular update to be uninstalled before that you could go forward. I tried to do, but he wouldn't let me not uninstall the 8.1 initial I installed.

I kinda let it go because he asked me like every month or two for me close automatically and install updates. But now it forces me to install updates every couple of days and then can not update so it cancels changes and it takes like 30-45 minutes or more. In addition, I must get it able to accept updates at some point.

I think I have to erase everything and start from scratch?

What should I do? And I am sure that I did not provide enough information to get help. What other information do you need to know to help out me.

Thank you

Mike

I have the same laptop and errors of the window even right out of the box. I fixed it by using the "120 Hz" to day and recovery, then manual update of Windows just a few files at a time, starting with the most grand/most important first. (a 8.1 update for example) I hope this helps. I had updates from any other program until all the windows were finished, too. (hours, several reboots)

  • Cannot install Windows updates (Windows cannot check the updates)

I have 10 computers networked with a Windows SBS11 server as a domain controller. The 10 computers, 6 of them are Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) and the other 4 are Windows Vista Pro (32 bit). All computers stopped Vista download of updates ago and which gives an error, the message "Windows cannot check for updates. When you try to check for updates manually or automatically that the error is displayed, but it should not be any problem with the updates are downloaded and installed on Windows 7 computers.

    I tried the following:

    -Ran the system update tool.

-Execution of Malware Bytes and Vipre Antivirus analysis in safe mode. No infections found.

-Disabled the firewall and restarted the search.

-Reset the proxy server using the winhttp netsh from the command prompt.

    -Restarted Windows Update Services.

-Ensure that the BITS Service is running.

-GPO update for Windows updates not be configured on computers.

-Change Windows Update settings to allow the manual update. Allowed for the updates to install, but after computer restart returned to the old settings and error appeared.

If there are any other suggestions I would greatly appreciate.

  • Cannot install Windows Update KB3013455!

Original title: Activation of the updates of Windows 8: I can not activate the KB3013455!

    I have a Dell Optiples 790 Mini-Tower delivered installed with windows 7 PRO. Robot: I5-2500 @ 3.30, memory: 2x2gb.

I installed from a disc Windows 8 PRO.  Everything went smoothly and works very well.

Then, I want to upgrade from Windows 8, Windows 8, 1.

So I installed all pending updates, I do not exactly remember how many but more than 150. I took an eternity and then asked me to restart the computer. That's when the problems started. Of course after an eternity, the program started back some of the updates installed. I was wondering what the problem was.

I looked up on the web. Some have suggested to install batch updates I did. He went well utill I arrived at KB3013455. Soon, I realized that the problem was KB3013455. So I figured if I can jump this guy and maybe I'll be successful without him. I installed the rest of the Retrofits, but could never install KB3013455.

Then in the Configuration of the system, I have "Hide all MS services" and click on "disable all". Start Up, I have to 'open the Task Manager. After recording, I tried to reinstall KB3013455: without success.

At the same time I updated the BIOS, network and video drivers.

After that I found a response from Andre Da Costa as of December 25, 2014, to a question of 'upgrade from window 8'.

Idid all what Mr. Da Costa stated in his reply uder Option 1.  Not apply Option 2.

I tried to install the upgrade of Windows 8, 1 and it did not work. He says there is something wrong and installation cannot continue or stop.

Now after fiddling around for almost two days I don't know what to do so if anyone has a good idea, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hi Mr. Manohar,.

No, I was not looking for contained suggestions in the article that I wasn't able to install KB3013455 and I thought all the improvements of windows 8 must be installed before installing windows 8, 1.

I'll give it a try and see if it works.
