Yoga13: Yoga cursor

My cursor is constantly disappearing, and I can't get back without having to restart the computer. Everything else works fine. Is there a button I'm pressing by mistake?

Note from Moderator: Edition subject to the content of the game.

I was looking around, because I had this same problem, especially during the passage of the tablet in portable mode, and I think I stumbled on the answer while frustratedly futzing autour.

To restore the cursor

Press F6

The touch screen

Use the touchpad (the cursor will return)

To hide the cursor

Press F6

The touch screen

I hope it works for someone else the trouble.

  • Freezing of cursor yoga 900

    Hi all

I have a new Yoga 900 and as I'm browsing in the screen, the mouse cursor will sometimes just stop moving. Right click on two fingers and two fingers scrolling still work very well, like the touch screen, but the trackpad itself does not have to move the cursor. If I wait about five seconds and restart my finger on the trackpad, the thing will come back to life and work for maybe another 45 seconds or more. Someone knows how to fix this? I adjusted the settings on the Synaptics touchpad several times, without success.

    Thank you!

Yes, I could enter and update drivers, it just took me a while to find the right way to do it. Thing works fine now

  • Yoga 2 Pro - cursor flashes when moving on some programs

I have a Yoga 2 Pro with Windows 10. Some programs (for example Thunderbird, LibreOffice), the cursor flashes when moving on the program window. I made sure my screen and touchpad drivers are up to date as well as the BIOS of my laptop. What else could be the cause? It's a bit irritating.

Went before and refreshed; things seem to work fine now. I guess the moral is 'don't do an upgrade directly from Windows 8.1 to 10'.

  • Cursor does not see the increase if the starting mode Tablet - Thinkpad Yoga

I noticed that if I boot my TPY in tablet mode, the cursor simply does not appear even if I flip the laptop mode. I can only solve it by restarting and booting from laptop mode.

If I boot from the portable mode however, and return to the Tablet mode, the cursor appears again when I flip it back in laptop mode.

Anyone else suffering from this problem too?

I solved this problem after you have reinstalled the time pilot 3rd. Not too well why the problem disappeared

However, a new problem is surface (a less serious). the mouse driver seems to be loaded rather late in the boot sequence, so after seeing my office, the cursor appears only after 5-10 seconds. If I turn off the touchpad in Device Manager, the cursor appears immediately at startup (without appropriate drivers loaded). guess it's a bug.

  • Yoga 2 13 - How do I change the speed of the cursor Clickpad

    Hi all

Just a quick question on how to change the speed of my cursor while using the Clickpad/Trackpad. For the time being, it moves quite slowly, I would increase the DPI that it moves.

I've been through properties and mouse pointing device properties, and I can't seem to find an option here.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

  • Yoga 13 screen - Bios side black

I had problems with the dreaded "black screen" when starting my Yoga13 (but only somethimes!). To try to limit, as there seems to be so many things that can cause this, I went into the Bios settings "F2" and configure it upward to request a password "Lit" before starting windows.

What I've discovered, is that when product black screen its FRONT the Bios asks the initial password "Power on", IE I do not see the box for the password and if Windows has NOT yet begun to load. To remedy this, I just press the power button to turn off the system, wait 20 seconds and then it will usually start.

Once past that, no errors always occur on the side of windows.

Any suggestions on what I could try to fix this?

Quick update to close this thread.

The Yoga13 eventually returned to Lenovo who couldn't get a new screen that was apparently necessary. Ended up having to get a refund, then bought Yoga 2 Pro. Discussions on this forum helped me to get all this work. Touch Wood (!), really happy so far

  • Slow down the start-time program: 13 Yoga Win8

    Hey guys,.

I have heard some other people about this problem, but could not find a thread on this subject.

A few days after I got my 13 of Yoga, I noticed that programs including metro apps, calendar, weather, etc., can take longer than 15 seconds to load up whenever I try first to launch. In addition, there will be moments where a metro app load for 20 seconds and then the report just an error message it crashed.

Everyone knows this? Outside of Office 365, Chrome, and Firefox, I have not installed anything on this computer.

    Any suggestions?

    See you soon!

Thanks VFC. This suggestion seems to have worked.
I use McAfee Internet Security that comes with the Yoga13 - and when I disabled it 'Analysis in real time' my programs are now open almost instantly and are much more sensitive. I don't know if there is a problem with this particular material not like McAfee so much, or maybe its just McAfee. I know Norton has worked great on all my systems. I will try to move on to the next.

    See you soon!

  • [Solved] After changing the mode of power Ssavings on Yoga 13, mouse blinks constantly

Before today, I've never had a problem with 13 of the Yoga. However, I changed the energy savings mode before my class to go to balanced energy and changed the life of the battery of life longevity. Since then, no matter what I do, my mouse pointer appears constantly as if he tries to run something (ie the blue loading circle bit). This occurs about every three seconds. However, after looking in the Task Manager, I can't represent what it would cause.

I rebooted the machine thinking that would solve the problem (as does most of the cases with Windows), but the problem occurs again. Then I thought, well, I'll put the power settings to what they were before them, I changed. Unfortunately, who did not resolve the situation either. The mouse cursor always appears at random with the loading screen.

I don't know that it won't harm anything, but it is incredibly annoying to see all the seconds. So, I was hoping someone might be able to help me and help me with this. I do not think that this is caused by any software I loaded on (I only installed four different programs since I have the laptop, which are on my desk and do not undergo the same question) and it occurred after playing with an OEM Lenovo software, I have a feeling that this could be the cause, but... I do not know.

I'd appreciate any help that you offered.

    Resolved, I found this link:

  • Failed to initialize and install Windows 8.1 - Yoga 2 13

    Hello world

I got a Yoga 2 13 who has recently had problems starting where it can no longer start Windows. I used an Ubuntu Live USB to see if I could access the HARD drive but no luck there, said that there is something wrong with it. Decided to install Windows 8.1 fees but I'm having issues with the installation. I boot USB bootable with 8.1 and it stuck at a black screen with only the cursor work. I started out in the same on a Yoga Pro 2 USB port and I get directly to the Windows installation screen. What could be the problem here? I see again the HDD in the BIOS is not quite dead.

    Thank you

    Marco

Well, it seems that the hard drive has some bad sectors, so I just replaced it with an SSD. Now my next question is, the CD key that is embedded in the BIOS is for Windows 8, but which version? Family, professional? What image of Windows is good?

  • Some actions do not seem to Yoga 13

Some gestures don't seem to work on my Ideapad Yoga 13 on the touch pad or touch screen. I can move the cursor, move the mouse, select vertical or horizontal, scrolling, pinch to zoom, access the menu of charms and close the window by dragging from the top downwards. But when I entered in Internet Explorer 10 metro interview other gestures that I think should work are not. I can't return page or forward by dragging left and right and slide from the top down and the left screen do nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

I realized what went wrong. I was using the desktop version of Microsoft Internet Explorer rather than the version of Metro. When I loaded the Metro version all gestures worked as expected.

  • cursor jump after update of the Sierra

After update of last week to Sierra of MacOS, I noticed many times randomly my cursor will jump erratically. I noticed several times why in an application like Photoshop Adobe or Illustrator but today it happened so that in Safari. Its very rare that gives me trouble with troubleshooting myself. Maybe one, two times a day.

Before Sierra, I have not noticed any issues with the trackpad when his flat on a desk. In the past maybe noticed a little problem here and there if on my lap or on an angle, but this small current problem seems to have started with Sierra.

  • Problem of cursor or mouse

Since the upgrade to Sierra, the cursor or the mouse does not work properly with Lightroom CC 2015.7, version "safe Sierra. It could be a problem for Adobe but Lightroom and Photoshop have been updated for Sierra and only Lightroom has the problem. Oddly enough, Photoshop works OK. In addition, the Sierra of Lightroom, 2015.7 security update, worked perfectly with El Capitan, without any problem of cursor or mouse. So I guess it might be problem Sierra or Lightroom allowing customers to loss. The Magic Mouse and the Mighty Mouse mice are problematic.

The main problem for me is that the cursor has become limited in controlling sliders and tone curve points.

    Someone else?

Yes, the same problems here. With the help of Macbook Pro 13 '' end 2014 on macOS Sierra & Lightroom 2015.7. Strange behavior when using the sliders and the points of the curve.

Do not forget that what was already a problem once after a LR update - so I guess it's at the end of the Adobes.
